These next two weeks couldn't go by fast enough...

In two weeks was Emma's due date. She was so over being pregnant, and not being able to see if she had put on shoes that matched. Her stomach was huge and she was just ready to have the baby.

Emma was peacefully reading a book on newborns while Killian and Henry went out on the boat for the day. She was curled up on the couch, under a cozy blanket, Oddball curled on the rug near her.

It was a quiet and snowy day, which was just what Emma needed. The power had gone out, so there was not much to do but read, which she didn't mind. Her memories of a newborn Henry were fake, and she was about the have a very real baby very soon.

A very kicky, real baby.

Emily had been kicking her all day. She was having cramps and feeling horribly uncomfortable.

"Come on, kid. Can't I have my last two weeks be easy?"

Right as Emma said that, she felt a warm liquid between her legs. Her water had broken.

"No, no, no! This is not good!" Emma lamented. The boys weren't home and the phone wasn't working. Her cell phone was upstairs and there was no way she was going to be able to get up there, as the pain shot through her body. Oddball had gotten up at this point and was barking nervously. Emma had no idea what to do. She couldn't walk anywhere, it was too far, too cold and her being able to walk wasn't going to be a possibility much longer. Oddball then decided to shoot right out of the doggy door. She had no idea where that dog was going, but would worry about it later.

Meanwhile, at the Docks, Henry and Killian were still a ways out from the docks when they heard a loud, echoing, bark.

"Is that...?" Henry asked, looking through the spyglass to see Oddball frantically barking and then jumping into the ice cold water.

"What the bloody hell has gotten into her?" Killian asked, steering the boat towards the dog. When they got close enough to her, Henry tried to grab her, but she wouldn't get it. She kept barking and facing towards the way to their home.

"What's she freaking out about?" Henry observed watching the white dog swim to shore and continue her barking, her tail wagging wickedly fast. Pulling the boat up to the dock, Oddball was still furiously barking at them, and trotting the way to the house an then back. Killian observed her distressed behavior and realized..

"Emma." Bloody hell. He didn't have that blasted phone and Henry didn't have his.

"Lad, can you make it to Regina's or your grandparents?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"I believe your mother may be ready to have the baby. Go to them and meet us at the hospital." he said patting Henry on the shoulder. The boy nodded and grabbed Oddball, who at this point was satisfied with the actions taking placed and curled up in Henry's arms, trying to warm herself. Killian jumped into the car and drove home as fast as her could. Throwing open the door he ran into the house, and saw Emma sitting on the couch, face writhing in pain.

"Looks like I'm just in time for the party, aye, love?" Emma looked at him. She hasn't expected Henry and him home for at least another two hours.

"What are you... doing home?" she panted.

"That little puppy of ours seemed to think it was a very good idea that I head home." Killian explained as he helped Emma up, her hand immediately grabbing his and proceeding to crush it. Emma had her hospitals bags packed and in the car for weeks, and Killian had never been more thankful for Emma's planning.

"Emma?" Whale questioned as her walked over to her and Killian. "You're early. You weren't due for another two weeks."

"Really? Tell that to the baby!" she scowled.

"How far apart are your contractions?"

"Ten minutes."

"Wow, you're almost ready to go." Whale said as a nurse with a wheelchair came and instructed Emma to sit in it. "The nurse will show you to your room and I'll be with you in a few minutes." Emma nodded, as Killian pushed her in the wheelchair, following the nurse.

Once she was settles in bed and a hospital gown and hooked up to all the machines that would monitor her and her baby, Whale came in and checked on her. It would be very shortly that she could start pushing. Her parents, Henry and Regina and Robin were in the waiting room. Roland and James had been left in the care of Belle.

"You alright, love?"

"Just a little nervous. But I'm ready for her to be here." Emma smiled. Killian kissed her forehead and by the closeness of the contractions at this point and the even tighter grip Emma had on his hand, Whale determined it was time to start pushing. Her face scrunched up and she pushed with all she could. It felt like forever she kept pushing. Like time was going by so slowly

"Come on, Emma. Just a few more pushes." Whale encouraged and she kept at it, Killian pushing back her hair.

And then. She was here. Tiny and red face, whaling and waving her arms as she was cleaned off and taken care of.

"Oh Gods, Emma. She's so beautiful." Killian praised, kissing her forehead. Whale came over carrying the crying bundle and placed her in her mother's arms.

"Hi, Emily." Emma whispered, tears of happiness trailing down her cheek.
