A/N: Another short chapter!

At breakfast, Elsa and Anna shared what they discussed in their bedroom with Kirsten and Karen over the table. When they heard of the news they were immediately offended what they heard about what the Duke of Weselton said to Elsa, but then they quickly composed themselves and asked a few questions.

Kirsten looked over at Elsa. "Elsa, are you sure you'll be prepared for the ball if you just practice dancing? What about socializing with other people?"

"I know how to socialize with people, Kirsten, but thank you for your concern. I just need to practice dancing and building my confidence in keeping my powers in control while I dance."

"Do you want to practice dancing as soon as possible?"

"Actually, Anna suggested that we should do a group practice."

"That sounds like a great idea! Maybe we should arrange a dance practice soon. Could we get Kristoff join so he can practice dancing with Anna."

"Kirsten, Kristoff just left so it would be an inconvenient to ask him to come back to the castle now. Besides, when he comes back, I'm sure he'll want to spend a day with Anna alone."

"What if we hold off the dance practice long enough so Kristoff can get some work done, call him back early and he can spend some time alone with Anna after the practicing?"

Elsa pursed her lips in deep thought. She turned toward her sister.

"What do you think, Anna? Would that be an acceptable proposition so that you shall have some quality time with Kristoff and still be involved with helping me practice dancing?"

A wide smile flew upon and nested on Anna's face. "That sounds perfectly fine to me, Elsa."

"Good. Let's just hope it'll be okay with Kristoff."

"I'm sure he'll be fine with it and even if he's not I'll find a way to convince him to help."

"Great. I suppose all there is left to do is wait for all of us to be available for the practice and then once that's done, all we have to do is look forward to the ball. In the meantime, I suppose I'll get some work done and the three of you can keep yourselves busy with either any further plans for the ball or conduct fun activities for our group to do before the ball comes to pass the time."

Anna reached over to touch her sister's shoulder. "Elsa, you forgot to mention the partners."

"Oh. You're right, Anna. Thank you for reminding me."

Anna's hand dropped from the young queen's shoulder as she turned to address the princesses of Denmark.

"Kirsten, Karen, will you two be joining us in our dancing practice?"

"Oh, no. We'll just watch."

"Think of us as a stimulation of the expected crowd who will watch you and your partner dance at the ball," Karen added.

"Well, I guess that'll be alright. But are you sure you don't to dance during practice?"

"We'll be fine. We'll happily watch you and Anna dance with your partners. By the way, we know Kristoff will be Anna's partner, but have you found a partner for yourself, Elsa?"

"Um…Well, Karen, Anna and I have considered a partner for me to practice dancing with, but I'm not sure he'll be available or even willing. You know, not everyone likes dancing."

"Oh, come now, Elsa. Who have you chosen to be your partner? Who have you thought of?"

"His name is Andrew and he works here at the castle's stables."

"Andrew? A stable man? Ooh how manly. I never thought you'd like the rugged type, Queen Elsa."

Elsa could feel a fire burn in her cheeks. She couldn't take the heat so she buried her face in her hands.

"Oh, please stop."

"You know, Andrew is such a nice name. Very manly and charming for a man's name. Is he is nice and charming?"

Elsa lifted her face out of her hands and looked Karen straight in the eye. "How am I supposed to know? He's part of the castle staff and I don't see all of the staff members every day. I've only encountered him a few times before. I suppose he's a good-natured man from what I could gather from our brief meetings together."

Anna leaned over closer to her sister with elevated interest. "Do you like him?"

Elsa slowly swiveled her head toward her sister. "Like him? What do you mean, Anna?"

"Do you have feelings for him beyond possible friendship?"

Elsa rolled her eyes and turned away from her sister. "You're obscene, Anna. I barely know the man."

"Oh, come on, Elsa. I was only teasing you."

"Could you please stop it? I would like to finish my breakfast from now on."

"Of course, but let me ask this one little question."

Elsa returned her attention to Anna. "What is it?"

"Do you always feel comfortable around him when you see him?"

Elsa raised an eyebrow. "I suppose I do. I never really thought it. Why do you ask?"

Anna, Kirsten, and Karen all looked at each other and smiled briefly before Elsa could any wiser of what could have gone through their minds. Anna shrugged her shoulders.

"Oh, nothing. I was just curious."

"Okay, then. May we finish breakfast and get on with our day?"

"Of course, sister dear."

"Anna…."

"Sorry, Elsa."

Elsa went back to cutting an egg and mumbled back, "Apology accepted."
