Chapter 16: The Final Chapter

The following morning Sam was at the place she started every one of her school days, her locker. Today was different though because for the first time since Sam could remember, she actually felt truly happy. So as Sam rummaged around in her locker trying to pass some time whilst she waited for a certain someone to arrive a particular brown haired girl joined Sam at her locker.

"Hey Sam" Valerie called knowing that she was someone Sam didn't want to see right now but Valerie felt that she had something important to say.

"What do you want?" Sam questioned assuming that it was going to have something to do with Freddie.

"So I'm guessing you and Freddie are a thing now" Valerie started.

"Erm I guess so" Sam replied, trying not to smile especially since she was talking to Valerie after all.

"I realised for the first time last night just how much Freddie cares about you" Valerie told her. "He was frazzled when I arrived at his apartment for dinner and once you went back to Carly's he rushed out to make sure you were okay. He even ignored his crazy mother's demands" she continued.

"What's your point?" Sam found herself asking.

"You may just think I'm an obsessed ex-girlfriend but I'm not, mine and Freddie's families are close. Freddie means a lot to me and even though me and you might not like each other much I just want to let you know that I approve of yours and Freddie's relationship" Valerie explained. "That's if you get into one. He really likes you Sam" she added.

"Erm thanks I guess" Sam mumbled wondering why they actually needed Valerie's approval.

"Well good morning" interrupted a very familiar voice which gave Sam butterflies as she turned her head to meet his eyes. "Is everything okay?" Freddie asked the two girls.

"Yes everything's fine, Sam will tell you" Valerie answered.

"Everything's great" Sam smiled as her and Freddie watched Valerie walk off.

"Hi" Freddie smiled as he greeted Sam.

"Hey" Sam greeted back, grinning widely.

"Hey" he smiled once more.

"Is everything okay?" Sam questioned. "Oh gosh your having second thoughts already aren't you" she suddenly panicked.

"No, no, no of course not!" Freddie quickly interrupted as he tucked his arms around Sam's waist. "I just didn't know weather you wanted to do the whole PDA thing yet" he explained.

"Oh" Sam sighed. "I think I'm going to be fine with it" she added.

"Great" Freddie smirked as he gently placed his lips against Sam's. "Good morning" he whispered causing Sam to laugh as he kissed her once more.

"Good morning" Sam replied.

"So do you have any idea why were needed at Carly's apartment tonight?" Freddie asked.

"What do you mean?" Sam questioned causing Freddie to pull his cell phone out of his pocket.

"Freddie, my apartment after school please bring your girlfriend" he read aloud.

"Your girlfriend" Sam repeated.

"Yes I guess that would be you" he joked before kissing Sam once more not knowing that the pair were beginning to grab the attention of specific people at school.

A certain red head that had recently become one of Sam Puckett's closest school friends took a sip of her coffee as she leant against her locker having her annual morning chat with the rest of her school friends. It wasn't until she turned her head slightly to the left that she spotted something that a large majority of the school had been waiting for.

"Dude it's finally happened!" Wendy shrieked in excitment, hitting one of her friends in the chest slightly in order to get his attention.

"Ouch Wendy! What is it?" Brad questioned.

"Look" she told them as she pointed over to Sam and Freddie.

"Finally" Brad cheered.

"That's what I just said" said Wendy as she rolled her eyes.

"It's about time" Shane smiled.

"Were we trying to get them together?" Gibby asked.

"Oh Gibby" Brad laughed.

"Lets go" Tasha suggested as the group of five headed over towards Sam and Freddie.

"Well, well, well, well, look what we have here" Brad started causing Sam and Freddie to depart from their current embrace. "So he finally won you over then Sam" he joked.

"I guess so" she replied.

"I'm so happy right now" Tasha beamed, taking Sam by surprise as she wrapped her up in a tight hug.

"Congratulations man" Brad said as he high fived Freddie.

"Thanks" he muttered.

"So Sam why are we all requested at Carly's apartment after school?" Shane asked.

"Wait, your all going?" she questioned causing everyone to nod. "Well I wonder what she's up to" Sam frowned in thought.

As soon as school had finished for the day Sam, Freddie and all of their friends were on their way over to Carly's apartment for something they all didn't know about but the important thing was that they were all going to find out soon. As the group of friends chatted whilst walking along the side walk Sam instantly smiled as Freddie combined their hands together. This was the first time that he had held her hand and it felt great.

Once they made it to Bushwell Plaza and were stood outside Carly's apartment, Brad went to knock on the door but Sam being Sam just walked straight in like she usually does. Oddly though, it took everyone by surprise.

"Surely we should have knocked" Brad told her.

"Not really I practically live here" Sam replied. "Hey Carly were here" she called.

"Great" Carly smiled. "I've made plenty of my special lemonade" she added.

"Oh great" Brad mumbled causing Sam and Freddie to laugh as Carly started to pour everyone a glass.

Everyone was sat around talking and laughing, trying to find a way to get rid of Carly's lemonade and enjoying the food that she had prepared for them all to enjoy. Sam in particular though wanted to know why Carly had gathered them all here and thought that it was about time that she told them all why.

"So Carly" Sam started. "Why have you insisted that we all come here?" she questioned.

"Well I do have some news to share with you all" Carly began. "I found out a few days ago that during the summer my Dad will be stationed in Europe again. As he won't be close by I've decided to go back to school" she explained. "Sam were going to be going to school together again, I've enrolled at Ridgeway and start in the new school year" Carly beamed.

"Carls that's great" Sam smiled as she hugged her best friend.

"I'm glad you think so" Carly replied.

"She's coming back to keep you out of trouble Sam" Brad joked.

"No that's also Freddie's job now" Carly teased.

As everyone sat around talking and laughing, Sam looked around knowing that right now everything was great.

The end.
