As Sue Ellen got ready for bed, she wondered where JR was. She finished putting on her pyjamas, put on her dressing gown and headed out into the hallway to see where he was. She was about to head downstairs and check he was there but as she walked past John Ross' room she couldn't help but look in. Her oldest baby, who was now 8, was sound asleep. She knew he would be the most loving big brother this World had ever seen. Sue Ellen lightly stepped into his room and over to his bed, watching him as he softly turned and rubbed his tired eyes.

"Mama..."

"Shh..." Sue Ellen whispered as she sat down beside her beautiful boy "Go back to sleep baby, mama's just into check on you"

"I'm not your baby anymore mama, you can't say that" John Ross murmured lightly, defending himself as a growing boy.

"John Ross Ewing, you will always be my baby. It won't matter if you're 8 or 58, you'll always be my first gorgeous baby boy" Sue Ellen softly stroked John Ross' hair and watched him fall back over into a deep sleep. She kissed the top of his head, saying her goodnight and left the room, making sure not to slam the door shut on her exit.

She quickly glanced back into her room to check JR had not came upstairs, knowing he wasn't there she headed for downstairs. Seeing that the den was in total darkness Sue Ellen headed for the kitchen. Feeding his appetite and his stress JR sat in the kitchen with a glass of milk and grilled cheese.

"And weren't you going to make me any?" Sue Ellen giggled walking towards he table, JR patted his knee for her to sit. As she did he put one arm around her waist and proceeded to eat with the other.

Finishing his bite,"You are free to have that half darlin'," JR pointed at the other half of the sandwich on the plate, knowing full well she was probably already eyeing it up.

"Yes, will I think that's a good idea Ewing because you certainly don't need anymore of it" Sue Ellen picked up the other half and begun eating.

"What's that supposed to mean?" JR sulked trying to make out he was upset by the comment Sue Ellen had just made.

"Absolutely nothing my darling, you are perfect just the way you are," Sue Ellen placed her half of the grilled cheese back down on he plate, stood the straddled JR on the chair and pulled a his shirt collar "Now I'm going to kiss you and I make no promises what happens after that" Sue Ellen grinned at JR's low growl and she begun her passionate attack on his mouth. Their kiss was forceful and Sue Ellen could feel the effect it was having on JR.

Pulling away Sue Ellen stood and toyed with a piece of her hair, "I'm heading for bed JR," and with that she left the kitchen knowing full well JR would quickly clean up what was left on the table and follow her upstairs.

Sue Ellen tossed and turned on top of the bed, she didn't know how to be or what to look like for when JR walked in. She'd done this a thousand times before but tonight something just wasn't right. She threw off her robe and decided that taking off her night gown might also be a good idea. Sue Ellen then got under the sheets, waiting for JR.

"Okay JR this is the green light, she's giving you everything here," JR was giving himself the biggest pep-talk anyone had ever done before, he was fully ready to be committed to Sue Ellen and this baby was the turning point. "You can be the best daddy anyone has ever seen, and you are gonna ask Sue Ellen for a vow rene-" Just then JR saw the vague beam of headlights drawing into the drive. JR knew exactly who it was and he had to settle this for his unborn baby and Sue Ellen, but not here. Not at Southfork.

JR walked outside, with the coldest look on his face, prepared to turn her away.

"JR, where did you get to? It's Saturday and you were supposed to take me out," slurred a drunken Mandy Winger "Now, I hope you're ready to make it all up to me" Many flung her whole body against JR's and wrapped her arms around his neck. JR firmly grabbed hold of Mandy's forearms and pushed her back against her car. "Ohhh, so that's how its gonna be tonight, huh JR?"

"No it is not. Now, Mandy listen to me, I am going to drive you home because you are clearly not capable," At that Clayton and Miss Ellie came running out of the patio doors.

"JR what's going on?" Clayton tried to keep his voice low as he knew Bobby, Jenna and the kids had long since gone to sleep.

"Mama, Clayton, everything's fine, Mandy's just going home" JR was beginning to get nervous in case Sue Ellen heard any of this.

"And how does she plan to get home JR?" Miss Ellie looked as Mandy leaned against her car and giggled to herself, completely unaware of her surroundings.

"Mama, I'll drive her back, in her car and get a, a taxi back home" JR's mind was in over-drive, thinking about how Sue Ellen would react if ever she knew his. He just wanted Mandy gone and out of his life for good.

Clayton, couldn't bare the thought of Sue Ellen finding out about this and dreaded her getting upset over JR Ewing, again! So letting out a low breath Clayton suggested he follow JR to Mandy's, with Miss Ellie going in the back of the car with Mandy making sure she was alright, and he'd bring them home. They could easily pass it off to the family as an emergency trip to the hospital with his heart condition. JR agreed and they all set off.

"You know Miss Ellie, I really love JR," Mandy kept crying as she lay on Miss Ellie's shoulder in the back of her car, whilst JR drove, "But he doesn't love me, he loves Sue Ellen... and he always will, I know that. He'd do anything for her" Miss Ellie was nearly going out of her mind when JR finally stopped the car outside of Mandy's apartment block. She helped Mandy out of the car and agreed with JR that she would she her inside. Once arriving at Mandy's door, Miss Ellie quickly unlocked it and forwarded Mandy inside, as Mandy turned round to speak, Miss Ellie cut her short by pushing all her anger towards JR on Mandy and with a pointed finger and firm look Miss Ellie began to erupt.

"If you ever set a foot on my land again young lady, you'll no longer know what to do with your life. Arriving at my home at this hour, causing us all grief and brining you back home because you're to drunk to do it yourself. Do you hear me? JR is happy with his wife and his children and you are going to leave the both of them alone or regret the day you ever upset my family" And with that Miss Ellie swiftly turned leaving Mandy open-mouthed and weakened. She got into Clayton's car and turned around to face JR who sat in the back, "And you JR Ewing, better watch your step from now on, you have a baby on the way and a woman and son back at Southfork who would do anything for you, who think you're God greatest gift on Earth, well son, I don't and I have had it up to here with your games and your lies and you are going to start living the way your daddy and I raised you. Drive Clayton" Miss Ellie, turned, finally took a breath and closed her eyes, praying that this was the end of JR's foolish games.
