Lucy - she's a worrisome girl.
She always worries about this and that; do I look pretty enough; is my hair neat; does he like me?
Maybe you can tell, but it's mostly really about her looks. I don't see why she really worries about that. I mean, she's always pretty - it doesn't matter if her hair's neat - and hey, I like her, so she doesn't need to worry about everyone else cuz if they don't like her they're meanies anyway.
Well, she's pretty likable when she's not mad. She's scary when she's mad though. I've heard people say (Erza and Levy and their romance books) that people look pretty when their eyes light up - but when Lucy's does, it means you've gotta run. I've seen a lot of guys who used to hang around her mistake that light for happiness but it's usually a precussor (precurose? precursor? Lucy taught me what it meant, but not how to spell it) to her Lucy Kick.
And don't you ever call her weak. Her kicks hurt more than my punches tenfold, especially when she's wearing high heels. (come on, Lucy, it would really help if you used that on enemies a little more often)
I think she just worries mostly about whether people would kiss her or not. She's probably used to getting her way (her house is huuuuge) but Duke Everloo kind of...lowered...her self-esteem. It's plenty high already, though. There's no need to worry about that.
About the Duke, I just think it's because she was trying a bit too hard, and probably mostly maybe because the Duke had some really weird taste in looks (even I think they were ugly). She's prettiest when she's daydreaming, or when she's laughing. She doesn't have to try. She's pretty without even trying.
And also, about the whole kissing thing - honestly, I would.
(kiss her, I mean)
