Buffy wiped the tears away from the brunettes face and smiled softly. "Its gonna be ok Faith, I promise, listen I thought about what you said and..."

"Excuse me miss what the hell are you doing in here?" a male voice came from behind Buffy. Without hesitation the blonde slayer turned around and hit the guard in the face. She turned back to Faith. "We need to get out of here now, get his keys and that's it were gone. Out of Sunnydale for good!" Faith couldn't believe what she was hearing. Was this some kind of joke? Faith didn't want to think about it, she wanted to get the hell out of this shit hole and leave. She pulled the dead guards jacket off, she was still shaking from the shock of it all, eventually she pulled a set of keys from the top pocket and handed them to Buffy through the bars. As soon as Buffy opened the cell door she threw her arms around Faith holding her so tight.

"Buffy, I'm sorry...I didn't want to leave...I feel so selfish...it was just too much and then suddenly I blacked out and ended up here and he..." Faith rambled but Buffy cut her off pulling her towards her placing a soft kiss on the brunettes lips.

"Faith, talk later, escape now" Buffy said taking Faith's hand. As the two slayers walked down the corridor they were confronted by several guards with guns. Buffy pulled Faith back and found a nearby window in the back offices. Smashing the window straight away both slayers escaped and ran as fast as they both could.

"Where are we going? B? Buffy?" Faith was confused and freaked out. Buffy didn't seem herself. She had punched a guard in the face with no hesitation, broke into the police station to save Faith and now she was leading Faith back to Sunnydale bus station.

"Faith, do me and favour and shut up for five minutes?" Buffy snapped as she was looking around for a particular bus stand. Faith narrowed her eyes at the blonde slayer and was a little shocked at Buffy's attitude.

"B, can you just please tell me what is going on?" Faith asked.

"Stand 12 is what's going on! And before you ask any more questions, I have enough stuff for both of us and yes I am serious about this! Just please trust me Faith!" Buffy pulled the brunette close to her and kissed her on the forehead. "Its just us now babe" Buffy said with a sweet smile. "I cant believe we are actually doing this but when I'm around you I cant think straight!"

Faith smiled and ran her fingers down the blonde slayers arm and up to the back of her neck pulling her in for a passionate kiss. "I love you B, we will make this work no matter what. Stand 12 it is then" Faith smiled and nodded to the bus. Buffy gave the driver tickets and retrieved two bags she had hidden behind a nearby abandoned building. She passed them to the driver and took Faith's hand leading her onto the coach.

"Buffy? Are you sure about this?" Faith asked as they took their seats. Buffy rolled her eyes and placed her hand in Faith's squeezing it tight and rested her head on Faith's chest.

"As long as I have you, I can be sure of anything." Buffy replied. Faith smiled and kissed the blonde slayer on the forehead.

After several minutes the coach passed the Sunnydale sign and the slayers had officially left.

Was this finally their happy ending...?
