A/N: So sorry it took so long to update. My personal life has been hell for the past month, including me being hurt, having to move, a 24 hour bug that sent 3 separate family members to the hospital, and both my father and older sister attempting suicide. Luckily, everyone is now being taken care of as they are supposed to be and I am not so stressed out.

Since OUAT did a premiere event a week before I get to see the new episode, I have exiled myself from Tumblr to avoid spoilers. So this is the perfect time to work on some prompts. This one was fun, but tricky, and not only started a long conversation on Tumblr, but I have made a new friend because of it! YAY! Enough of my rambling…here you go.

Disclaimer: I do not own Once Upon a Time or any of the characters. They belong to other people.

Prompt: Robin has been ignoring Roland (on accident) as he helps hunt down Zelena. Roland is feeling a bit unloved, and it is not helping that a certain witch has been whispering lies in his ear. So he runs off and Robin and Regina (plus the town) go looking for him (prepare for Daddy!Robin feels)

"Robin!"

Without even turning around, the thief knows that something is terribly wrong. The tone of Tuck's voice is the first sign. He can hear the complete and total panic as the man continues to call for him, as if he did not hear him the first time. The rest of his men are all calling for him in the same tone, which makes his heart drop to his stomach.

But it is the voice that he does not hear that makes him turn around, even though he is dreading the sight. His eyes scan through the group that is barreling toward him, but his feeling is confirmed. Roland is not with the Merry Men.

He rushes forward to meet them, all the plans that he had been making with Regina, Henry, and the other forgotten. Then again, they are running behind him, realizing that something is amiss. "What's wrong?" He calls out the moment he is within reach of Tuck.

"Roland is missing!"

The world around him fades away as every possible scenario plays through his head. Of course, everything that could possibly happen is nothing compared to the fear that Zelena might have gotten her hands on his little boy.

A gentle brush of a hand pulls him out of his thoughts and he glances over. Regina is standing beside him now, watching his men with an emotionless face, her head tilted in that regal manner that she wore as armor. But he can see other little things that show just how worried she is. Her jaw is trembling a bit, and her eyes are full of panic. "Where did you see him last?"

Tuck runs a shaking hand over her head, not handling his own emotions very well. "I left him in the tent for but a moment so that I could start cooking, and when I came back but moments later, he was gone."

The Evil Queen looks up at him, confused. "The spell that I put around your campsite is the same one around Snow's loft. Zelena wouldn't be able to get inside."

Now it is Robin's turn to run a hand over his face. "It is possible that Roland simply got bored and wandered off to find himself an adventure.

Emma comes forward on the other side of Regina. "Then we set up search parties and go through the woods to find him."

He smiles gratefully at the blond. "Thank you, Sherriff. Any help will be appreciated."

"I'll start getting volunteers together." David calls out, turning around and heading straight for Granny's.

The savior steps in front of him. "Does Roland have any special places that he prefers?"

He shakes his head. "We haven't been in Storybrooke long enough for him to find somewhere like that." At least, not that he can recall. Unfortunately, with the danger to the town and all of the time that he has been spending with Regina and the rest of this group, he has not gotten as much time with Roland as he used to.

"Then we will just go through and search." Emma grabs Hook's arm and tugs him off to the side. "But do not go alone. Zelena is still out there."

Regina runs a hand over Henry's head. "I need you to go stay with Snow, so she doesn't freak out."

The teenager pouts but nods his head. "Okay." He gives her a hug and takes off running down the road. "Bring him home, Mom!" He yells over his shoulder.

Now that everyone has scattered, Regina reaches down and grabs his hand. "It will be okay, Robin. We'll find him."

"I know." He says. She gives him a weak smile before using her magic to transport the both of them into the forest.

A Couple Hours Later:

The both of them are slowly losing hope with every inch of forest that they cover. Robin hasn't seen any tracks that could have been made by his son. Truthfully, any tracks that Roland could have made have probably been destroyed by the search parties looking for him right now.

It does not help that Regina is unable to use a locator spell to track him either. And no matter how many times he asks what that means, she keeps her mouth shut. Which can only mean something bad.

Her hand runs up his arm as they continue walking. "Talk to me, Robin."

He shakes his head. "There is nothing to talk about. I just need to find Roland."

"And we will." She leans in close, as if snuggling under his arm.

A sharp sob has the both of them spinning around. Roland is standing almost complete behind a tree, crying as he watches them. "Roland!" He calls out, running toward him.

The little boy's face scrunches up in anger, making him pause. "NO!" He yells, before running in the opposite direction.

The thief's head falls as his son runs away from him. That hand is back on his shoulder as Regina looks up at him. "I think it's best if I stay here. Go after him." He nods, absentmindly brushing a kiss against her cheek before he starts to follow the new trail.

He is able to catch up with Roland fairly quickly, being able to run much faster. With his crossbow on his back, his hands are free to scoop the boy up and pull him into a hug.

Roland starts to hug him back, but suddenly stops himself and begins to kick and squirm. He tries to say something, but he is crying too hard.

His heart starts to break at his reaction. "Roland, my boy, what's wrong?"

He starts rubbing his eyes. "You don't want me no more!" He wails, before throwing himself against his father's chest.

Green eyes go wide at the declaration before he presses a kiss to the little boy's temple, sitting on the ground right in the middle of the woods. "Of course I still want you! Why would you think that?"

Roland leans back, letting out a hiccup. "You…you have 'Gina and Henry now."

"No, my boy. WE have Regina and Henry." He whispers against his hair. "They both love you just as much as I do."

He looks up with wide eyes. "They love me? They don't wanna take you away from me?"

Robin shakes his head. "No, they don't. What makes you think that they would do that?"

The sniffles start to grow further apart as Roland leans back to look at his daddy. He rubs his face, lower lip jutting out. "My new friend, 'Lena…she said you don't love me no more 'cause you have a new fam'ly. And since you never come home…"

"Oh Roland…" He mutters, hugging the boy tighter. As much as he wants to curse the wicked witch for her latest trick, he knows that taking care of his son is more important. "I'm sorry that I haven't been coming around, but I have been trying to make sure that this place is safe for you. I've been protecting you from Zelena."

If it is even possible his eyes grow wider. "'Lena's the bad guy?!"

He nods his head. "I'm afraid so, my boy."

"I'm sorry, Papa." He says, lower lip trembling. "I didn't know."

"I know." He whispers, turning around and heading back toward the path. "It's not your fault." It was his. While his son is always on his mind, he never really thought much on how he might feel with the introduction of Regina and Henry. It had always been the two of them and the Merry Men…and now two new people held his attention.

The relationship with Regina is still new, which means that he is being cautious about letting Roland become attached to her. And then Henry got his memories back and has been dealing with the loss of his father, so he latched on to him when he was with Regina. Of course, he wanted to help in any way he could. But it left his son open to believe the lies of Zelena…

They come through the trees to see Regina hanging up her cell phone. She gives a small smile, obviously worried what her own presence might do. "I just called Miss Swan to tell her that we found him. Is he alright?"

Roland begins to wiggle, trying to get out of his father's arms. He reluctantly allows the boy to get down, and he runs to the Evil Queen. His arms wrap around her legs and he buries his face into her hip. "I am so sorry, 'Gina."

She blinks down at him, running a hand through his curls. "Whatever for?"

Robin moves closer, putting his hand over hers. "It seems like Zelena has been telling Roland some stories while we've been looking for her."

"She said that you and Henry were trying to take Papa away." He mumbles into her hip. "She said that you didn't want me 'round."

Fire flashes in her dark eyes, but she quickly reigns in her anger. "Of course we want you around." She pulls him away just enough so she can kneel in front of her. "Henry is looking forward to teaching you about movies and video games. He's been talking about it for the past couple days."

"Really?!" He says, finally allowing himself to smile.

She nods, smiling herself. Robin's lips twitch up at this as he ruffles his son's hair. "How about we all go to dinner at Granny's, and then maybe Henry will show you all about this new stuff. You want to?"

His hair flies everywhere as he nods enthusiastically. "YES!" His arms come up, gesturing for his papa to pick him up. The thief chuckles, but inside his heart melts. It looks like he has been forgiven for making him feel left out. He picks the boy up and allows him to curl up into one arm. "Let's go, Papa!"

"Yeah, let's go." Regina echoes beside him.

He laughs at her trying to mimic the four year old, throwing his free arm around the mayor. "Alright, you two. We're going."
