*collapses* I FINISHED THIS IN JULY AND NEVER POSTED IT IM SO SORRY

~anyway back to the original Author Notes

I decided not to make this chapter Kristoff and Elsa's wedding...but someone else's. I had this feeling that Elsa and Kristoff would've wanted a much smaller wedding in privacy, so I jumped ahead.

Enjoy!

"It's hard to belive this day has arrived." An old servant mused as she dusted the windowsil.

A younger servant beside her turned in confusion. "I thought someone already got married in the palace...the queen..."

"Yes dear...but the queen was not the one I watched grow up here..."

"Was the queen away as a child?!" The servant girl raised an eyebrow.

"It's your first day isn't it?" The old woman asked.

"Yes mam...I just got the job."

"Well I'm glad you chose to work here. It's a lovely palace."

"A bit large..." The girl bit her lip. "For such a small royal family..."

"It's got a history behind it...it was almost 14 years of no guests...no suitors...no family..."

"Why did that happen?!"

"It's a long story my dear...you'll hear it one day..."

The two women continued to clean. Suddenly, someone ran past them in a flash of blue and white. The air around them grew cold.

"Who was that?! Was that the princess?!" The servant girl began to rub her arms from the chill.

"No my dear...that was the queen..."

"Why would she be in such a hurry? It's her sister's wedding day."

"That's something to always remember my dear...you don't ask questions about the sisters...they're a mystery in themselves...with all that they've gone through..."

The servant girl shook her head in confusion. The old woman wasn't making any sense. She stared down the corridor in the direction of the queen.

Kristoff rolled his eyes and Klaus limped back and forth.

"You need to calm down Klaus."

"I just..." He winced as he landed wrong on his leg. "I'm just worried about her."

"Well pacing isn't going to do anything about it. She's nervous."

"But why?!" Klaus sat down on the bench beside Kristoff. "It's not like she doesn't want to marry me...or..."

Kristoff scoffed and elbowed him. "Do you hear yourself? Anna wanted to marry you the second we got back."

"That was almost a year ago! What if she doesn't feel that way anymore..."

"You think she doesn't feel that way about you...even after your engagement party?!"

Klaus scoffed. "How do you-"

"The entire palace staff knows about what happened that night." Kristoff laughed loudly.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "I'm worrying about nothing...I just...want to go see her..."

"And risk Elsa tearing your head off?!"

"Your wife and her traditions..."

Kristoff patted his shoulder. "It could be worse..."

"How?!"

"We could both be exactly where we were a year ago...me harvesting ice with my smelly reindeer and you waiting on hand and foot for your smelly grandfather."

Klaus laughed loudly. A woman cleared her throat in the doorway.

"Your majesty..."

Kristoff looked up. "Yes Gerda?"

"Should we let the guests into the church...they're getting concerned."

"Not until the queen arrives. Those were her orders."

"Yes...but-"

"How about this? Klaus...let's go entertain the guests. Share some stories about our beautiful wives."

"Wife-to-be..." Klaus muttered, standing up.

"Nuance. Let's go."

The king and duke made their way out of the drawing room and into the foyer of the palace. A flash of blue and white passed upstairs.

"Was that...?"

"Yup..." A blast of cold air blew past them as the figure disappeared. "She's on a mission. Let's go stall these guests."

"Should she be running like that? Since she's so-"

"She'll be fine...I think...come on let's go before I think too much about it."

The two men chuckled as they set off towards the church.

Anna shook her head as the maids continued to knock on the door.

"Princess! We weren't finished yet!"

A tear slipped down her cheek. Her hands were shaking. This is so unlike you!

The maids suddenly went silent. Anna heard the shuffling of feet and the jiggling of the door handle. Oh gosh...

"Anna if you do not open this door I am going to open it myself."

Anna crossed her arms. "I'd like to see you try."

She winced as she heard the maids gasp and the sound of something freezing over. There was a loud cracking sound, then the doors were blasted open with a gust of wind.

Anna rolled her eyes as her older sister stomped towards her. Her incredibly round stomach showing underneath her blue and white ballgown. A tiara sparkled on her head.

"Ladies if you could excuse us." Elsa said over her shoulder.

The maids scurried away, not bothering to close the ruined door.

"Elsa-"

"No."

Anna put her hands at her sides and huffed. She hated it when her sister treated her like a child.

"Sit..." Elsa pointed at Anna's vanity.

Anna crossed the bedroom and slumped into the chair. Elsa practically floated behind her and began brushing Anna's messy hair. Anna had pulled out the crown braid the maids had attempted to make for her, leaving her hair tangled.

"You're causing quite the stir." Elsa said quietly.

Anna stared at her own reflection. "Is Klaus angry?"

"No...just nervous...just like you..." Elsa began braiding on side of Anna's hair.

Anna stared at her sister. She was as beautiful as she'd always been. Her platinum blonde hair was styled in her iconic braid. Her gown flowed behind Anna like a cape.

Anna pouted at her own appearance. She was still in her nightdress, half an hour before her wedding. Her actual wedding dress lay on the bed untouched.

Elsa put the finishing touches on her sister's hair. "There...much better..."

Anna smiled weakly. Her eyes fixed on Elsa's tiara.

"Is that..." Anna's words caught in her throat as Elsa lifted the small tiara off her head.

"I had to make sure i wouldn't freeze it over when I ran here...but it's for you to wear..."

Anna's heart pounded as Elsa placed their mother's tiara onto her head. They stared at each other in the mirror.

"Elsa...I...I can't..."

She leaned down, putting her head on Anna's shoulder. "You can...and you will. You're a beautiful princess Anna...mother and father would be so proud of you..." Elsa's voice cracked slightly.

"I'm the only one allowed to cry!" Anna gushed.

"Oh shut it!" Elsa laughed. "Now come on. We have a wedding to get to."

Anna sighed and rose from her seat. She turned around and hugged her sister. "Thank you Elsa..."

Elsa sighed as her sister stepped into the ballroom with her new husband. The crowd erupted in applause.

An arm wrapped around her waist. "How are you feeling?" Kristoff muttered.

"Tired..." Elsa leaned into him.

"Should we go to bed?"

"Oh no...we have to stay for awhile...just for awhile..."

Anna came running over after her first dance. She grabbed Elsa's hand and pulled her towards Klaus. They both looked at her in confusion.

"...Since...mom and dad aren't here to dance with me and Klaus...I thought you should dance with him...and I can dance with Geoff!"

Elsa put a hand over her heart. She was speechless. Klaus stepped towards her and bowed. "May I?"

Elsa laughed lightly and took his hands. They could only sway to the music while Anna was dragged around in an uncomfortable looking waltz.

"You're brother is...quite the dancer..." Elsa giggled.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "He wouldn't be able to dance to save his life."

When the dance finished, the reception went into full swing. Anna didn't want any formalities, just a party. Elsa had planned a few surprises of her own. An incredibly large chocolate fountain was brought in from the kitchens. Anna's jaw dropped and she pulled Klaus towards it.

"Your sister is about to faint." Kristoff gaped.

Elsa laughed. "I knew she'd be surprised."

As the party went on the two stepped out onto the balcony. Elsa sighed as she attempted to sit on the edge and rest her feet. Kristoff sat beside her, stroking her hair.

"I'm so glad I met you..." He said quietly.

Elsa's heart raced. It always did whenever he said something like this to her. She beamed at him.

"I'm so glad you found me..."

He leaned forward and kissed her sweetly. He rubbed her stomach softly.

"We still need to pick a name."

"We're not naming it Sven I told you for the hundreth time-"

Kristoff laughed. "No...I had a better idea...I thought about what your sister said...i think we should name him...or her...after your mother or father."

Elsa held her breath. She was speechless, for the second time that night.

"Oh Kristoff...I love that idea..."

She put her head on his shoulder. Something glowed up in the sky.

The northern lights illuminated the fjord. Everything in the kingdom seemed to glow.

Elsa sighed as she stared up at the sky. She'd found what she's always wanted. A beautiful life with her sister...and a husband...with her powers not getting in the way of anything.

Neither the king nor the queen noticed the newlywed princess peeking out at them from inside the ballroom. Her new husband leaning behind her to get a look as well. He kissed her cheek.

She smiled.

For the first time in forever, she wouldn't change a single thing.
