Huge timeskip here. Keep in mind that Allen is now 18, Lenalee is 19, Lavi is 21, Kanda is 21, aka everyone is 3 years older than they were before. *wants to rate this M but keeps deciding against it* Anyways, I was thinking to have the next chapter in an exorcists' POV where they're back at the Order and the Noah are scoping the place out and explaining shit to Komui and all that. The OC in this chapter is only previewed briefly, but he will be an important piece and there is also a surprise pairing for him later on so yeah. So many thanks to Our Supreme Lord Mr. Johnson (yas), TriforceNinja (yas :D), Guest, Natsuki D (:o if you need help, just pm me :3), U. s. a. g. i. n. e. k. o-c. h. a. n, countrylovinfangirl, and lovestotoro for reviewing!

There was blood everywhere.

Lavi feared that maybe he was dreaming, or maybe he was stuck in a dream; like the time Road had trapped him inside his own mind and his friends tried to murder him. Except, this time, they were the ones getting hurt. If Komui hadn't came up with the new liquid that purified Akuma's poison, he was sure that they would all be dust right now...literally. It took him three years to work on it and it was well worth the wait. They no longer had to fear the Akuma's poison, but simply their attacks. They were at the place where Allen first walked away from the Order. It seemed there was an ambush waiting for them...was this a trap? Were the Akuma keeping their eye on this place all this time? Why would they do so?

"Lavi, watch out!" Lenalee snapped and jumped up, landing her heel on an Akuma's forehead so that it didn't stab him. The redhead shook his head, clearing his thoughts. He needed to focus.

"Sorry!" He apologized and switched shapeshifted his hammer, feeling memories of the time he used the snakes of fire against his companion...it hurt so much inside when he did that. To think that he's come this far in the Order...he really thought Bookman would have left by now. They both knew it was a distraction and that he really felt for his allies...

So why was he still here? Were they still recording the war? At this point...it seems like their work would be best if they stayed in the sidelines...but here they still were. Lavi paused when he heard an odd noise coming from a couple yards away. It seemed to distract the other exorcists as well. It sounded like...giggling? "Woohoo! This is so fun!"

Was that...a Noah?

"They're here..." Komui mumbled seriously to himself.

"Yahoo! You're dead, you're dead, and you're dead!" Jasdero joined in on Devit's rambunctious cackles. They were shooting Akuma with their twin golden pistols...but how? Weren't those guns used to kill people?

"If you guys keep messing around, you're going to get scolded." Lavi's attention turned to the beautiful, yet evil, woman he met a long time ago: Lulubell.

"Nah, he isn't here yet, let's have fun!" Jasdero cheered.

"You said it!" Devit joined in and they began shooting again. They had amazing accuracy...

"Idiots. Can't they behave just once?" Lavi froze at that voice and spun around, backing away as he did so. Tyki?! Tyki looked down and smirked at him.

"How's it been?" He asked smoothly, running a hand through his long, curly hair.

"You guys are late." Kanda growled from a few feet away. Tyki scoffed at him.

"We have our reasons." He muttered back. "I see you guys have obtained a new exorcist." He continued, watching another one of them destroying Akuma effortlessly with twin blades. To be up so close against an Akuma...you had to be brave. His hair was dark blue, short as well...it reminded Tyki of the way Allen's hair would defy gravity when he activated Crown Clown...and his eyes were a blazing and determined red. He seemed very skilled when it came to hunting Akuma...but not as skilled as Allen. Tyki thought bitterly. "Replacing a certain one? That's awfully cold of you."

"We weren't replacing anyone." Lavi growled. Tyki's eyebrows rose, hearing the bitterness in Lavi's voice. He smirked and looked back at the battlefield.

"Well, I suppose it's time to start the battle, hm?" He said.

"What are you talking about, we've been working our asses off already!"

"You say that...but you can't defeat as much as we can." He smiled widely. "Watch and learn, rabbit." All of a sudden, Tyki's form changed. A large mask suddenly appeared on his face and blades sprouted from his back. It was an odd form to say the least and reminded him of spines, but Lavi could almost feel the power exuding from him. He was strong. He ran off with his crazed smile and slashed Akuma left and right, taking care of the smaller fry first. Lulubell's nails suddenly grew into large claws, like a cat extending it's nails. How can they carry Innocence if they can't even touch it? Lavi wondered in shock. He shook his head. There was no way he was losing to Noah.

The fight continued on for what seemed like hours. The Noah were beginning to get really anxious. It was like they were waiting for something and it had yet to arrive. But what could they possibly be waiting for? Maybe...Allen? No...at this point...he would be the fourteenth. Lavi thought, his eyebrows furrowing at the thought. He hated leaving Allen behind...he must have been so alone. To keep living until you were taken over and completely disappeared...it had to be the most unbearable thing anyone could ever go through. For what seemed like the twentieth time, Lavi shook his head. He couldn't think about that now. It was too late for condolences. For now, he had to destroy Akuma and protect his friends...it's what Allen would have wanted.

Lavi didn't realize how wrong his thoughts were.

"Hey, Jas! How about you and me have some fun, eh?" Devit challenged. "Whoever gets the most Akuma wins!"

"Sounds fun!" Jasdero cackled and followed after his twin. They split up and started taking them on solo-style.

"You idiots! You're supposed to fight together! Have you learned nothing?!" Tyki asked, his voice that of a scolding father.

"It'll be fine! These Akuma ain't got nothing on...uh oh." Devit mumbled when a rather large one deflected his bullets with a flick of his finger and it came right back at him. He shouted and dived out of the way.

"Eheheheheh, puny Noah!" It mocked.

"Why you...you're just a stupid Akuma!"

"Oh no." Tyki mumbled, sighing. Now that he's riled up...the only things stopping him is...the disappointed Noah shook his head. Devit kept shooting his pistol and attempted dodging everyone that the Akuma flicked back. It laughed in his face and he was beginning to get pissed. He shot some more and the Akuma grinned, flicking it at just the right time that the bullet went straight into his stomach. Devit wailed and kicked.

"You idiot!" That was a new voice.

...or was it?

It sounded vaguely familiar and all of the exorcists looked over, only for their jaws to drop. Allen...Allen Walker was flying to his rescue. Literally. He was soaring on Crown Clown, an Innocence to which they thought was lost and he was currently kneeling beside the injured Noah, touching the wound lightly. "It hurts...it hurts..." Devit whispered.

"I told you to be careful! Where's Jasdero?!"

"I don't know! It hurts!" He cried out and Allen sighed. He glared up at the Akuma, who seemed a lot more angry by Allen's presence. Allen was just as angry.

"You're going to pay for that." He growled. "Tyki!"

"Awe, man, what did I do?" Said man grumbled to himself and floated over towards him. "What is-" He was cut off when Allen threw the whining Noah into his arms.

"Take him somewhere safe. I'll deal with him later. Right now, I've got a score to settle." He hissed.

"Roger." Tyki muttered lamely and floated away, pausing. "What took so long?"

"Neah's gone on a rampage again."

"Oh great. Guess I'll add that nuisance right to the top." He muttered, floating towards Jasdero and stopping him from shooting anymore Akuma. Allen drew out his sword from his arm and glared at the Akuma.

"Heeheehee, Master will be pleased if I bring you back." He giggled. Master? Is there someone controlling the Akuma? Or is he talking about the Earl? He wondered and charged at the Akuma.

"Pay attention!" The new exorcist growled, deflecting bullets that nearly lodged themselves into Lavi's throat. "Who cares about that other guy right now, can't you see we're on the battlefield?!" He shouted.

"Right." Lavi muttered and got up, using his hammer to destroy more Akuma. He had to worry about Allen later. Yes, he was supposed to be a Noah, and he wasn't one at the moment, but they were fighting and in order to avoid further death, he had to focus on the fight.

"Allen!" Road screamed.

Okay, that wasn't helping.

Everyone looked over to see that he was flying away from the Akuma and into a large building. What the hell? He thought and crawled out of it, closing one of his eyes, which was injured. Luckily it wasn't his left eye. The Akuma started cackling once again. "You're a fool, exorcist! You think you can defeat me with that? I can deflect anything I touch!" He sang and lunged for him.

"Deflect anything you touch..." Allen mumbled to himself. Then how can he be defeated? Every Akuma has a weak spot...he thought and put up his guard. The Akuma's power deflected him, sending him further into the building, destroying the upper skin of his back. He gritted his teeth and glared into the Akuma's eyes. It simply beamed back.

"I'm going to squish you like a pancake!" He sang.

"Get away from him!" Road shouted and sent her candles flying at the Akuma. It let up off of Allen and deflected her candles. Allen took that opportunity to throw him off of him. He blinked. That's it!

"Road! Come here!" He shouted and Road ran over, dodging a few Akuma bullets that flew her way. "I've got a plan. Can you help?"

"Of course!" She smiled widely. Allen whispered in her ear and she nodded a few times, the smile on her face slowly widening. "You got it, my love!"

"Woooooohooooooo!" A loud cheer came from a few yards away. Allen paled. Oh no. "This is so fun! Heyyy, baaaaabe!" The Noah could all feel their blood run cold as Neah soared around with a black coat around him, sending strands out and flying using the buildings as a weight-lifter.

"Neah! Stop joking around!" Allen shouted.

"I'm not joking, I'm flying!" He countered and Allen frowned when Neah didn't stop flying and ended up slamming into him.

"NEAH!" Said Noah wiped a sweat from his brow.

"Damn, I need to work on the brakes to this thing..." He mumbled. "Sorry, babe." The Noah grinned down at him as his hands clenched at Allen's shoulders.

"Don't call me that!" Allen snapped and shoved the Noah off of him. "I told you to stop playing! This isn't a joke! This is an ambush! Now go help Tyki!" He ordered. Neah pouted and stuck his tongue out at Allen, soaring away. Damn it, boy, why did you send him to me? Tyki thought in horror as the Noah flew over with his arms spread out wide and he glomped him.

"Allen is sooo meeean."

"Neah, be serious. Look around you."

"Oh, not you too, I swear, it's like..." Neah trailed off and looked around him, only to find that he was surrounded by exorcists. His expression darkened. "Oh great."

"Yeah. Now, I've got a little plan for you. The Akuma Allen and Road are fighting now deflects anything it touches. Allen's got a plan to defeat it, but as you can see, it requires Road being in the picture. I need you to make sure she lands safely if he deflects her. Sheryl'll have our heads if she gets hurt."

"Alright..." Neah mumbled like a kid being told to do his chores. "Wait, what about you?"

"I'm helping the exorcists fight. Lover's orders."

"Pfft, lame. My job sounds better now. See ya!" He chirped and soared off again.

"That little..." Tyki clenched his fists and shook his head. He stormed over to an Akuma that Lavi and Kanda were having trouble with and instantly sliced it into pieces with his spinal blades. He looked over at Allen with a worried expression, not that you could see it under that huge mask of his; just the frown.

Please be careful.

"Oh Akuma~!" Road sang and hopped on a larger candle, flying around on it. "Try this on for size!" She shouted and jumped off of the candle. It flew at him.

"Foolish girl! That is too easy!" He laughed and held his hand out.

"Is it?!" Allen asked and charged for it. The Akuma shouted and directed his hand at Allen.

"Nice try! I knew you were there! Now I'll deflect your very being!" He grinned and activated his power Allen closed his eyes tightly and his sword collided with the Akuma's hand, a few seconds after the impact, he was sent flying away. He looked at Road's candle and quickly changed his deflection. The candle dug into his hand, and he cried out before sending it back with all his might at Road. The girl gaped and shouted, before another impact shoved her out of the way. She looked up and her eyes sparkled.

"Neah!" He looked down at her and smiled.

"Sup, sis?" He asked with a grin. She glowered at him.

"Don't call me that..."

"Now you sound like Allen."

"Shut up! Look!" She said, grinning as she pointed at the Akuma, who was being eaten alive by his very being. "You call me a fool, but would a fool be able to tear you down?" She asked the Akuma; it bared it's teeth at her.

"What did you do?!"

"My candles are filled with a wax that is modified by Innocence. I can make them melt whenever I please and when it collided with you, I ordered it to send wax through your veins! It was all a part of Allen's plan. You were so distracted by him, that you completely forgot about my candle." She said smugly and crossed her arms. The Akuma's scowl turned into a wild grin.

"You may have defeated me, but that doesn't mean anything! What are you going to do without your perfect little strategist?" His grin widened and he began laughing. "You're all fools! Maybe I'm gone, but I managed to take down your top exorcist!"

"What...?" Neah asked slowly and looked back to where Allen had landed. He could feel his heart twist and his stomach drop at the sight of him. "No...what did you do?!" He shouted, taking his own sword out.

"This." He murmured and touched Neah's sword. It suddenly had a purplish black liquid crawling up it. Neah dropped the sword and stared at it with disbelief as it was suddenly covered in the liquid.

"Dark matter?" He observed.

"That's right! I coated that exorcists sword in it just before he went flying! It won't disappear until five minutes from now! The damage is already done! Am I brilliant or-" The Akuma's voice died whenever Jasdero put his golden gun to his head and didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. To see an utmost anger and hatred in his eyes was quite rare, but it was surely there. His golden eyes were cold and Tyki floated over, setting the injured Devit next to him. Devit glanced upwards and his eyes widened.

"Th-that must be hella rough...lot worse than I got i-nng." He winced, holding his stomach.

"Allen!" Neah shouted and flew over, quickly thrusting his sword back into him as a limb. He reached his hand out to touch him but brought it back quickly, not wanting to hurt him any further. After he was deflected, the sword was drenched in dark matter and pinned him from the chest to the building. There was so much blood. "Allen...oh my god...oh my god..."

"C-calm down, Neah. You're going to make me freak out." He said softly, gritting his teeth at the pain. I'll be fine...it's going to be okay...

"How can you n-not be freaking out?! ALLEN YOUR SWORD IS IN YOUR CHEST!" Neah shouted, smacking him in the head.

"You're not supposed to hit an injured person." Tyki pointed out and knelt down next to him. It was so hard not to lose his cool. However, Allen had told him before just in case something happened that he was the one to help the Noah stand up and fight alongside the exorcists, no matter how injured he was. "Neah, watch over him. Allen, be careful about your next choice. If you choose to absorb your sword, you'll be poisoned by Dark Matter until we're able to get an antidote. If you choose to leave it, there's a chance you might bleed out. Choose wisely." If there wasn't a serious situation at the moment, Allen probably woud've laughed because the whole 'wisely' thing. But it was indeed a serious matter, and if he laughed, he'd be a horrible person.

"Y-yeah, I got it..." He whispered back. "Go." Tyki nodded and stood up, staring at Neah. He wished he could show his feelings so easily.

"Let's go." He murmured to the others. They nodded and each took their time to watch him before they left.

"Allen...Allen, what do I do?" Neah whispered painfully. Komui, who was hiding away from the Akuma made his appearance and his eyes widened.

"What...happened?" He asked and slowly walked forward. Neah looked up and glared, throwing small blades towards his feet, stopping him from moving any further.

"Don't you dare come near him." He growled and looked back at Allen worriedly. His eyes widened when he suddenly remembered something. Allen was his other half...they had this happen several times before...Neah neared him and caressed his cheek, worry evident in his eyes. "I can help..." He murmured.

"No, Neah." Allen mumbled. "Don't..."

"I have to." He whispered, grabbing the sword's handle. "This...it's going to hurt just a little. Okay? D-deep breaths now?"

"Neah...don't..." He murmured.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to hurt you...but this is the only way."

"Neah, don't you da-" Allen suddenly let out the loudest scream when Neah began pulling the sword out. The Noah did their best to ignore it, but you could tell that they were definitely uncomfortable with the noise. They just had to believe in their outcasted Noah.

"Are you stupid?! If you do that, he'll bleed ou-" Komui started, but Neah gave him the deadliest glare.

"Shut the hell up." He hissed and pulled the rest of the sword out, throwing it aside and grabbing Allen's face between his bloodied hands. Allen was breathing heavily and occasionally gasping. "It's okay, Allen, it's okay, relax." He whispered. He pressed their foreheads together and let his hands slide down to his neck before kissing him. Komui stared in complete shock. For two reasons: one being that the Noah kissed him and two being that as he did so, Allen's violent bleeding slowly stopped and Neah's chest began bleeding. He pulled back and let out and loud groan, feeling his chest.

"Neah, you idiot..." Allen whispered, opening his eyes for a brief time before closing them and holding him closely. It was a little awkward since he had only one arm, still, Komui swore he could see a pinkish red glow emit from their blood. He could only make one deduction out of this...

...Allen, along with this Noah, was the heart.
