Saving Katelyn and Benjamin ch.12

(Carlisle's POV)

"Family" I call as I walk in with ben who just got his cast off. While I was there Jess handed me Katie's latest test results.

"Carlisle what is it?" Esme asks.

"Lets go to the dining room" I say and everyone nods.

"Carlisle is everything ok?" Liv asks and I nod.

"OK so ben got his cast off and everything healed fine" I start off with and everyone nods.

"And while there Jessica handed me these" I say and hold up Katie's folder with her test results.

"Is that Katie's latest test results?" Edward asks and I nod.

"And what does it say?" esme asks.

"She's cancer free" I say and the room erupts in cheers. Esme hugs me and she cry into my neck.

"Shh love our daughter is fine" I say and look and Edward is hugging Katie.

"I know that's why I'm crying she's finally fine" Esme says and I nod and kiss her forehead.

"Daddy" Katie says and runs t me. I pick her up and swing her round.

"I'm fine now" she says and I nod.

" Yes you are baby you an play all you want now" I say and she squeals. I set her down and she pulls her cousins outside. I laugh and kiss esme.

"Our family is perfect now" she says and I kiss her again.

"Indeed it is." I say.

"umm Carlisle can I talk to you?" liv asks.

"sure sis" I say and motion outside. We walk to the creek and we sit down.

"what's up?" I ask.

"Anna was excepted into Harvard and the school year starts next week. So we need to get down there, I also took a job at the local hospital there" liv says.

"of course do you need help moving?" I ask.

"no I already shipped most of our stuff. Our plane leaves tomorrow" she says and I nod.

"thank you for helping me save my daughter" I say.

"Carlisle I hardly helped you saved her and ben." Liv says and I shake my head.

"Carlisle if you weren't working that day the would have ended in foster probably split up and most likely Katie would still be fighting the cancer. You are there daddy and there hero, you also gave them six siblings, 4 cousins and you gave them a mother. " liv says.
