A/N: I'm so sorry that this is super duper late, and its a bit short for the wrap up and epilogue, I might do more of an epilogue at latter date. Thank you so much to everyone who has reviewed, favorited and followed. You have no idea how much it has meant to me to share writing something this large for the first time with your support. I will be working on another AU coming soon and a few drabbles here and they please feel free to leave me prompts. Enjoy the last installment!
Everything had stilled, the small family gathered in the middle of the great hall, clung to one another, words of everlasting love whispered into each others' ears. Things were finally as they should be, and once everything had been settled, Snow launched into planning mode.
The entire trip back to their kingdom Killian kept a hand on either Emma or Henry not allowing for them to leave his sight even for a moment, if he wasn't holding Emma's hand he had Henry clutched in his arms. Emma seemed to feel the same way her hand often finding itself brushing against the hairs at the nape of Killian's neck or in Henry's nearly identical locks. Her family was finally whole again, and safe from looming threats. Henry had glued himself to his father and followed him about the ship like a duckling.
This would be her baby girl's wedding, and there was not stopping her from the throwing the most beautiful wedding they'd ever seen. They had confided in the King that they had married on the Jewel en route to rescue their son, and he had chuckled assuring the that it was becoming a family tradition to have more than one wedding ceremony.
Within a month of their return, the preparations for a royal wedding had come to fruition as Emma walked down the aisle to meet her two loves, Killian in his naval uniform and Henry wearing a child's version of his father's dress uniform. They beamed at her with identical grins, and it took all she had in her to not cry and she clung tighter to her father's arm. The wedding itself was a blur the the newly (finally) wedded couple and their son, but as the receptions was in full swing the little family had shared a dance, after the couple's own first dance. Henry had been reluctant to let his parents leave on their short honeymoon, and was only placated when Killian had promised to return with lots of gifts for the lad, and was momentarily stunned when he was met with his son's loud (clearly heard by everyone in the kingdom - Emma was sure of it)
"As long as you bring me back a baby brother or sister, I guess you can go Papa."
The couple spluttered, and Killian was the first to recover as after the shock had faded, Emma had succumbed to uncontrollable giggles and the very serious face her four year old was currently giving them.
"Little one we can't just bring home a baby like that, it doesnt, um" Killian scratched absentmindedly at his ear as a blush bloomed accross his cheeks, " It doesn't work that way, but I promise you, your mama and I will try our hardest." He winked and Emma smacked his arm, as she kneeled in front of Henry.
"Darling, it takes more than just wishing for a baby to make one into being."
"But Mama, you hoped and wished for Papa all the time and he came home, if I hope and wish and be a very good boy, don't you think I could get a little brother or sister when you both come home?"
Emma sighed, there was no stopping her very stubborn son, and so she agreed to try and bring one home, but it would take a while before the baby would be able to play with him like he wants.
Emma and Killian bid their guests, their family and their son adieu as they made their way to the carriages to the seaside estate her parents had made for them to spend their honeymoon. A small getaway for the couple where they would be able to enjoy their privacy but close enough to Henry that they could easily and quickly return.
And though nothing came through except the occasional letter from the castle assuring them all was well, and Henry's scrawled misspelled pleas for a younger sibling, they enjoyed for the first time, and unencumbered paradise.
