Author's note: This chapter is really short (half as long as the last one) but I wanted to let you guys know that I'm continuing the story. I have 10 chapters planned out and honestly this one is the most dry and boring. I hope to upload the next chapter by next Saturday! Please favorite and review, it really makes me happy! Enjoy! :D

I look around at my friends again. I should probably explain. Percy still has the most confused face of all.

"You see, ? created the astrolabe to get back to Calypso. But it was missing a piece. It needed crystals from Ogygia to work." I held out my hand that is holding the crystals. "I'm going to finish figuring out how to hook it up. I've already done most of it." With that I turned to leave.

"Wait!" Piper's voice calls, "That's all you're going to tell us?"

"Um... later?" Give me time to figure out much of my sad excuse for a love life to dump on you. How to explain why I never brought this up before. I should probably just get it over with but...

"W- wait, you went there? B- but that's impossible," Percy stammers. I forgot he'd been there, too.

"Yeah, they forgot to factor in angry snow goddesses when they made the 'every thousand years' rule."

"I mean-"

"The deal? I don't know if you've noticed this too, but gods don't seem to care much about others. That bet being Exhibit A. On the other hand, they broke the deal with Piper and me, right? But that was for a reason. Maybe they did the same thing to Calypso, they kept her there for a reason. For this. Although don't ask me how they foresaw this much." I hadn't really analyzed the information until the words just came flying out my mouth.

"So that's where you were? Why didn't you tell us?" The golden question I've been asking myself, my dear Piper.

"I- I'll explain later," I tell her. This procrastination is terrible. Oh well. I leave the mess hall towards the navigation room before she could get in another word. Whenever I got bored I would work on hooking up the astrolabe but this is the first time I brought the crystal with me. I'm praying that this works. But I can't help but realize that if it doesn't work, I wouldn't know. Which is how I found myself putting a whole lot of faith into a piece of machinery created thousands of years ago.

I tinkered with the astrolabe and hooked it up to Festus' navigation interface. I won't get into the glorious details of connecting this wire to that wire, but I will say that the escapade took roughly a half an hour. Once I finish, I pick up the crystals. I move my hand towards the astrolabe but hesitate. This is it. This is the moment of truth. I take a deep breath and slowly push the crystals into place. A message pops up on the digital screen I have in place: Search for land of earliest dawn successful. Coordinates found.

"Land of earliest dawn?" I ask in confusion. What's that supposed to mean? Did I sync it wrong? Or maybe this was never meant to take someone to Ogygia after all?

"It means Ogygia. Ogygia, well, Ogygian, can be translated to 'at earliest dawn,'" A voice says from behind me. Annabeth. I spin around to see her standing in the doorway. How long had she been standing there?

"Oh." Of course.

"The others sent me to get you. I take all of that," she points at the astrolabe, "went well?"

"I think it works, but no promises," I respond. Only hope. Hope to help some poor lonely girl trapped on an island that I accidentally fell in love with. Hope to get the stupid moonlace so we can save all of our asses.

"Well, let's get back then, there's a lot we need to discuss," she says with a smile.
