A/N: so I had this plot bunny in my head for a while and I HAD to write it because it was just so adorable and fluffy and I've been wanting to write some BBRae for some time now. Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own the Teen Titans.
Submerged in Shadows:
The fallen angel's lips ghosted over hers as they whispered, "I love you." His body was hovering over the girl's where they lay in the grass in the secluded area of the meadow.
Rachel's hair was spilled out around her head on the ground. Her soft black wings spread out beneath her body. The demon's small hands rested on the angel's shoulders. The dark haired girl then snaked them underneath his arms and around to his back. Her thin fingers soothing over the silver feathers of his wings, the touches softer than velvet.
Before she could answer their lips met. The boy's lips massaging against the demon's as he pressed himself closer to her. They stayed together that way for some time, so close together that he could feel her heartbeat through their clothes. The boy's gold locks fell over his closed eyes and he ran his tan fingers through the long locks of Raven's hair. He loved her hair, the shinning black tresses darker than the starless sky that night. Her skin was pale and smooth like freshly fallen snow with violet eyes richer than lilacs. How, he wondered, could a creature so beautiful be condemned to the darkness?
When the two finally pulled away the demon found herself looking at the angel's hooded eyes. They were like flames, even in the dead if night the emeralds dazzled.
"Please answer me, love. No one is watching us, there's nothing to fear," he said softly. His low voice never disturbing the peacefulness of night in the slightest.
Rachel turned her head away to avert his gaze. Her right side of her face rested against the cool summer ground, letting her vision drift out deeper into the fields they were near.
The grass in the fields all differed in fresh hues of greens, none that could compare to the angel's eyes. The meadow was speckled with white flowers that lit up like small beacons in the moon's light. It looked incredible in her eyes, but it was no Garden of Eden. The demon frowned. Not even the slightest glimmer of sun nor moonlight could grace her skin without causing her harm. The girl's violet gaze trailed away from the meadow as she frowned at the thought.
Rachel's hands still lay pinned on both sides of her head, her fingers intertwined with the angel's. They were shaded from the moon by the array of trees surrounding the meadow. A ray of light passed over the tips of Gar's wings and ignited in shimmering silver light. The dark haired girl sat up, the hem of her black dress ending at her knees. The white clad angel was kneeling on both legs in front of her.
"Answer me, please, Rachel" he urged, gently cupping her face in his hands.
The girl's lips quivered upon answering, "You should not love something so evil. Never."
"Lies," he whispered, bending down to press their foreheads together. He didn't bother to blink away the tears stinging his eyes. "I do love you, Rachel. There is good in you, so much of it. You're not something evil."
The demon's smaller hands rested on top of the angel's and pulled them away. She whispered, "You are meant to exist in the light. Not submerged in the shadows. Do not deny that I am of the darkness."
Gar brought the girl's hand to his lips and softly kissed her knuckle. He had the smallest of smiles tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Dark, yes, but that is something that others misunderstand. Like the light, the dark can be a beautiful thing too."
A/N: Btw I've seen versions of BB with blonde hair, with brown hair and as a ginger so I don't care which I used. Sooo...reviews would be great!
