*IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ*

One, I'm sorry for not updating in forever. Finals start soon at my school and I've been busy studying, and there have been a lot of projects and stuff, and I just haven't had time for Fanfiction. But summer starts soon, and hopefully I'll have more time to write. Especially since I'm going to be working on two stories pretty soon.

That's right, two. I'm making a sequel to this story, and I'm gonna try to write it at the same time as my Pokemon Black story. Let's see how this works out for me...

Thanks to everyone who reviewed and I'm really sorry for not posting. Also, thanks for reading this story! When I first joined fanfiction I didn't know what to expect, and I'm really happy you guys enjoy the story.

Please Read, Review, and enjoy the final instalment of Shadows of Almia: The Light of Vantonage

A year had passed since Operation Brighton. Not too much happened. Mr. Kincaid tried to revive Team Dim Sun at one point. It was actually pretty funny, because Keith was still mad at him for trying to drown me. So that was dealt with pretty quickly. Keith is really scary when he gets mad…

My little sister Lily stole my Pachirisu. Seriously, a few weeks after Operation Brighton, Pachirisu started playing with her Kricketot, and she hasn't come on a mission with me since. It's been really annoying, actually. Oh well. At least I wasn't completely alone. Keith and I did most of our missions together now.

Oh, Elaine and Ollie got married. That was an interesting day… let's just say Ollie's mother isn't very happy when Keith visits Chicole Village. Which is a lot, because he comes to visit me all the time.

I also got invited to teach at Outdoor Class again. I guess saving the world really gives you popularity. Although, this time there was one difference. Keith was allowed to come with me. And that was a lot of fun. It also got me a lot of teasing from Rhythmi.

Did I mention how annoying Rhythmi and Isaac have been? Ever since he got a job at the Union, he and Rhythmi have made it their goal to annoy me. Mostly about Keith. I don't know what their problem was! We were just friends! So I've been spending a lot of time outside recently.

Okay so maybe a lot happened. But it was actually pretty boring. I missed all of the excitement from Operation Brighton.

But I couldn't worry about that now. Keith was waiting for me in the Operation Room. I ran inside, excited to see my friend. He was standing in the middle of the room with his Buizel. "Hi, Keith!" I said, cheerfully. My spiky haired friend turned to me, grinning.

"Hey, Sparkette!" he said. "What's up?"

"Not much," I replied. "Um, what's up with your clothes?" Instead of his normal red and white Ranger uniform, Keith was wearing a blue tee-shirt with matching blue shorts. He had a red vest on over his shirt. He also had a yellow scarf, and red goggles.

Keith sighed. "New uniform," he said.

"You look ridiculous," I said.

"Well, at least we'll look ridiculous together!" Keith said, grinning. Oh no… "You get one too! Check your room."

"Brilliant," I said.

Keith laughed. "It's not that bad. I'm sure you'll look fine in it."

"Sure," I said, rolling my eyes. "I'll be right back." Keith was snickering as I walked out of the Operation Room. I didn't really use my room in the Ranger Union. I preferred to sleep at home. And nobody really cared, cause Rangers weren't really needed that much anymore.

Sure enough, a brand new uniform was sitting on my bed. I reluctantly changed into it. It honestly wasn't that bad. I just wished it didn't have the scarf, because it covered the necklace Keith got for me. But oh well. I couldn't complain. At least I could still wear it.

"See? That doesn't look too bad," Keith said as I walked back into the Operation Room.

"I love how you say too bad," I said, paffing my friend. "Idiot."

"So why are we here anyway?" Keith asked.

"No idea," I replied. "I was hoping you would know."

"Allow me to answer your question."

Keith and I turned to see Professor Hastings walking into the room.

"We are sending you two to the Oblivia region to investigate the Pokemon Pinchers," he said.

"Pokemon Pinchers?" Keith repeated.

"The Pokemon Pinchers are a horrible group of people who control Pokemon and take them from their homes," Professor Hastings explained. "Up until recently, they have been working independently. But now, these Pokemon Pinchers are starting to become more unified. And they are probably up to no good. That is why we want you to go to the Oblivia region, investigate these Pinchers' plans, and if necessary, stop them."

"Sure thing," I said. "But… what is the Oblivia Region?"

"The Oblivia Region is a place a few miles north of Almia," Professor Hastings replied. "But you can get there in no time on a Staraptor. The Oblivia Region is a collection of islands. It's usually very peaceful, so we only have one Area Ranger stationed there. That is why we need you two to go investigate. Rand cannot do this on his own."

Keith and I nodded. "We'll leave right away," I said.

Keith turned to me. "You ready for another adventure, Sparkette?"

I smiled at him. "Only if you are, idiot."

So I bet most of you know where I'm going with this. Sorry it's a little bit.. weird, I guess. But I've been wanting to do this ever since I replayed guardian signs, so... yeah. If anyone is interested in what happens between the two stories, please tell me and I will be happy to write something for you.

I guess just thanks for reading the story... I'll post the prolouge to guardian signs later today, I guess.
