he still has both
kuroko no basuke is fujimaki's. no profit is gained.
His fingers hadn't left hers since the time she woke up. Everyone could notice that his gaze wasn't something he would show up often. His grip was always tighten everytime he took a glance to her wound, as if he had loosen it, her wound would have spilled more blood, a lot, hurting him more and more.
Bandages wrapped around her head, vermilion color stained the edge of her forehead. The similar pathetic state was also seen on her arm that hanging loosely over her bosom with thick special bandages wrapped around her neck to support the broken arm. Despite so, she replied Daiki's hiss with a small smile.
"I'm okay. Don't be that worry, Dai-chan. We have overcome the nightmare."
"You just ... stupid."
"So who is another stupid person who stares at me like his world has just crashed down by a small accident?"
"Small, you say? Your stupidity is beyond my expectation, Satsuki."
"Then you worrying me this hard is beyond my expectation too."
He silently swore he wouldn't even let Satsuki drive alone for a long, long term after this heart-wrenching accident. He didn't mind of himself being her personal driver, also vowing that he wouldn't mouth any protests wherever she wanted him to drive her to.
"What if ..." he couldn't say more, it wasn't so himself to say something he considered as cheesy. He didn't use to say oh-so-romantic and heart-melting stuffs, even to his Satsuki.
"Don't worry too much. At least, I'm okay, even though this torublesome bandages are around me, and I am still able to laugh at your stupid face now," she chuckled.
"Geez, how can you say such when you are in this kind of situation, you moron?"
"And how can you not change your visage even though you know I'm okay?"
Stealing glance once again to her fractured arm, he gritted his teeth. His lacing to her fingers became more tense it made her voice a low squeal, "Dai-chan, it hurts."
"What if I lose you?" his voice was husky yet shaky, finally telling his most honest thought.
A wider smile crept onto her face, almost as curvy as crescent moon. "If it were to happen, you still had to be thankful."
"Do you lose your mind?"
"It's better than me getting a serious amnesia. For me, losing someone ... is still definitely better than that," she hadn't erased her smile from her face yet.
"May I call the doctor, it seems like your head was hit in another spot the doctor didn't take notice of."
"I'm serious, Daiki."
It shut him up.
"If I were in your position, I would rather to lose you than to lose my memory. Losing you physically means the sweet memories I have with you is still in my possession, I'm sure I still can stand on my own feet with you in my mind and heart as biggest motivation. But losing memory about you means losing the mental motivations, sweet memories, sweet words, everything I love about you. Forgetting the one I love the most while I can't remember anything about it anymore sounds suck. I don't want to even imagine it."
Daiki showed nothing but a deadpan face.
"Get the difference?"
He finally released her fingers, inhaling deeply and then standing beside the bed. He reached for her head, his fingers wrapping themselves on the back of her head with a gentle gesture that felt like butterfly's touch, his slightly ope lips kissing her wound softly, "Thank god that I don't lose both."
A/N: ... cheesy and cliche romance are actually my cup of tea so ... yeah /buries herself/
