Purvi got up when her phone rang. It was Shreya , who called to wish her. She talked with her happily. Happiness could be felt in her voice. After talking with Shreya , she freshened up and was about to make coffee when someone rang the doorbell. She opened the door and found Vineet standing with a bouquet in his hand. Vineet offered her the bouquet….
Vineet- Happy Birthday Princess Pari !
Purvi (smiled and took the bouquet)- Thanks Vinu ! Tum sach mein mere achche dost ho.
Vineet- Ab saza deke bol rahi ho ki achcha dost hu…..(he pouted fakely)
Purvi(laughed)- Acha baba Sorry na ! Ab chalo…Coffee peete hai.
Vineet- Tum banaogi ?
Purvi- Haan !
Vineet- Matlab mujhe satane ki puri taiyari ki hai tumne…..Pehle coffee pilaogi fir saza ke taur pe khana bhi taiyar hu.
Purvi(smiled)- Arey Vinu….tumne toh meri baat ko seriously le liya . Hum dono mil ke kaam karenge na.
Vineet(bowed)- Banda haazir hai Madam !
Purvi laughed out and Vineet smiled looking at her. Purvi went into kitchen to prepare coffee while Vineet placed the things he brought on the dining table and switched on the tv. Meanwhile , Purvi returned with 2 cups of coffee. She handed a cup of coffee to Vineet and they both enjoyed their coffee with light chitchat. Purvi , too received calls from her friends and team members.
Vineet- Purvi ! Saara saaman check kar lo…..agar kuch aur laana hoga toh le aaunga.
Purvi- Theek hai Vineet ! Abhi dekhti hu.
Vineet- Waise ye le….tera gift.
He handed a box to her.
Purvi(exclaimed)- Ek aur gift ?
Vineet(smiled)-Haan…ek pyari si dost ke liye sweet sa tohfa.
Purvi opened the gift happily and found a box of chocolates…..those very chocolates she loved. Purvi looked at him and smiled.
Purvi- Thank you Vinu…!
Vineet- Anything for you Princess !
Purvi smiled and they finished their coffee. Purvi went to check the things Vineet bought. Now they were set to work.
Vineet- Purvi…..kya kya karna hai ? Kya banane ka socha hai?
Purvi- Bahut kuch socha hai yaar. Let's start !
Vineet nodded and they started with their work. Purvi gave him a treat of Biryani in Lunch. Vineet was happy to help her. Both the buddies were happy working together. By 4 pm , they were done with their work. Now , Vineet offered to make coffee to which Purvi agreed. After 10 minutes , Vineet came with coffee. He noticed Purvi ….a smile was constantly playing on her lips. He asked…
Vineet- Kya baat hai Purvi …bahut khush ho aaj?
Purvi- Haan Vineet….Aaj main khush hu. Humne kitna enjoy kiya na aaj. Aur ab sab aa jayenge bahut maza aayega.
Vineet- Haan Purvi ! Wo toh hai. Main bhi sabke aane ka wait kar rha hu.
Purvi- Vineet….Thanks yaar…!
Vineet- Parriiii…..dost ko thanks nahi bolte. Ab ek baar aur bola toh main tumhe saza dunga.
Purvi(smiled)- Achaa…theek hai….nahi bolti.
Vineet- That's like a good girl !
They were chatting for a while until 5 pm.
Vineet- Purvi…..5 baj gayi…..tumhe ready nahi hona?
Purvi- Arey haan…! Main ek baar sab kuch dekh leti hu phir jaati hu ready hone.
Vineet nodded and Purvi went to crosscheck everything. And both of them went to get ready.
Purvi opened her almirah and took out the set Rajat gave her. She kept it on the bed. She decided to wear a saree. So , she took out a red saree with golden border. She smiled to herself and went to get ready. She draped the saree and then took out the set. She just looked at it and remembered what Rajat said….
"Purvi…..ye meri maa ka set hai aur issey achcha tohfa nahi mila mujhe tumhare liye."
"Ye kisi khaas ke liye tha….aur mere liye tum khaas ho. Aur ye tumse khubsurat toh hai nahi."
"Purvi , agar tum kal ye set pehnogi toh mujhe achcha lagega."
Purvi's POV- Kyun nhi pehnungi Sir….aapne itna pyaar se diya hai. Aur waise bhi main har wo kaam karungi jisse aapko khushi ho.
She smiled thinking her convo with Rajat. She took out the set and wore it. She moved her fingers on it. For once, she admired herself. She got ready and once again threw a gaze on herself. Then , she moved outside her room and found Vineet sitting and watching looked at her and smiled.
Vineet(naughtily)- Haila….! In adaaon se kise maarna hai Purvi?
Purvi(smiled)- Kisi ko nahi yaar.
Vineet- Just kidding re….Waise you looking beautiful. Perfect dress on birthday.
Purvi(smiled)- Thanks Vineet !
At the same time , the doorbell rang. Purvi moved to open the door. She opened the door and found DaReya and AbhiRika at the door. She welcomed them in. They wished her and gave her the gifts.
Shreya- Kya baat hai Purvi….. Aaj toh chehre pe ek alag hi chamak hai….Kya hua haan?
Purvi(smiled)- Kuch nahi. Aise hi mann kiya toh saree pehan li.
Tarika- Aur ye set ? Ye kab kharida tumne?
Purvi didn't want to tell about the set to them so she said….
Purvi- Mumma ka set hai Tarika. Bahut yaad aa rhi thi toh pehen liya.
Shreya(smiled)- Waise aaj toh tum bahut pyaari lag rhi ho.
Vineet- Toh ek photo ho jaaye? Kyun ladies?
The ladies smiled happily and obliged him. He even clicked some pics of Abhijeet-Tarika and Daya-Shreya too. Amidst this laughter , the doorbell rang again. Purvi opened the door and found Sachin , Nikhil and Freddy on the welcomed them in. In her heart , Purvi was waiting for Rajat who was still not there. Daya and Abhijeet noticed this and , Purvi went into the kitchen to bring colddrinks. She came out when the doorbell again rang. She gave the tray to Shreya and went to open the door expecting it to be Rajat. But , there was no one. When she was about to close the door , She found a bouquet at the door step.
It was a bouquet of pink and white roses. She smiled seeing the bouquet. She picked it up and found a note. She opened the note…..
"Duniya ki sabse khubsurat ladki ke liye ek khubsurat tohfa…..Always keep smiling like you are smiling now."
Purvi smiled reading the note. Meanwhile Shreya called her ,…
Shreya- Kaun hai yaar ?
Purvi- K…koi nahi Shreya….aa rahi hu.
She took the bouquet and went inside. She placed it on the sidetable near the sofa.
Tarika- Ye bouquet…..Purvi ye bouquet kahan se aaya?
Purvi- Darwaze pet ha Tarika…..Aur aaspaas koi bhi nahi.
Abhijeet- Arey….hoga kisi dost ka jo shayad purvi ko darana chahta ho.
Purvi smiled shyly. She knew….who it was…..it was her frend and now her Love….as she felt it now. She was anxiously waiting for him. After sometime , the doorbell rang and now she knew it would be him. She went to open the door and yes…..She was correct…it was welcomed him in.
Rajat handed her a box and said….
Rajat- Happy Birthday Purvi !
Purvi(smiled)- Thank you Sir !
Rajat- Aur Thanks Purvi …..Bahut khubsurat lag rahi ho tum. Thanks meri baat maanne ke liye.
Purvi(smiled)- Aapne kuch kaha tha toh wo toh mujhe manna hi tha.
Soon, all of them were sitting in the living room and chatting. Taking the chances , Rajat kept on looking at Purvi. Daya noticed this and a naughty smile crept on his lips.
Daya- Arey Rajat….! Aaj kahan derr laga di tumne. Tumhe pata hai Purvi kab se tumhara wait kr rahi thi.
Both Rajat and Purvi smiled shyly.
Rajat- Sir….wo…wo kuch kaam tha isliye der rho gayi.
Daya(Smiled)- Hmm….Koi baat nahi. Itna toh chalta hai…Kyun Purvi?
Purvi(shyly)- Haan….Haan Bhai….Chalta hai. Acha…aap sab baatein kijiye….Main aati hu.
And she moved into the kitchen. Meanwhile , Shreya went in to help her.
Shreya- Kya hua Purvi tujhe?
Purvi- Kuch nahi yaar…..Bas soch rahi thi ki starters serve kar de.
Shreya(lifted her face up )- Mujhe pata hai kya hua hai….Tujhe Rajat Sir pasand hai na …haan?
Purvi looked at her surprisingly.
Purvi- Ye …ye kya bol rahi hai tu Shreya?
Shreya- Wahi jo sach hai Purvi….Tu rajat sir ka wait kar rahi thi ye toh dikh raha tha tere chehre pe. Unke aane pe tere chehre pe jo smile aayi….usne kaha.
Purvi smiled a little but didn't say a word. Shreya smiled.
Shreya- Dekh Purvi…jldi bata. Phir main Daya se baat karungi ki wo Rajat Sir ke papa se baat karein aur meri pyari si nanad ki shaadi karvaye.
Purvi blushed to her hard and Shreya laughed . Purvi didn't say anything but hugged her. Meanwhile , Daya entered in the kitchen.
Daya- Kya ho raha hai Shreya?
Shreya(smiled)- Daya, Hamara shak sahi nikla. Aag toh dono taraf hai.
Daya(smiled)- Kya sach mein?
Shreya- Haan ! Dekhiye apni behen ko….kaise sharma rahi hai.
Purvi blushed and turned to other side. Daya made her face him and asked…
Daya- Purvi…tum sach mein Rajat se pyaar karti ho na?
Purvi(looked at him)- Haan…..Khud se zyada ! Lekin ye nahi jaanti ki Rajat Sir mujhse pyaar karte hai ya nahi.
Daya(kept his hand on her head)- Wo bhi tumse pyaar karta hai.
Purvi(surprisingly)- Aapko kaise pata?
Daya(Smiled)- Bas pata hai ! Aur dekhna jld hi wo kahega bhi.
Purvi smiled and hugged him. Daya smiled and caressed her head.
Shreya- Ab chalein bahar…Sab soch rahe honge ki hum yahan kya kar rahe hai.
Daya and Purvi nodded. Shreya and Purvi took the plates of starters and moved out.
Abhijeet- Arey Daya ! Kya hua ? Kahan chale gaye the?
Daya(smiled)- Apna shak door karne.
Abhijeet(smiled)- Toh door hua tumhara shak?
Daya- Haan…! Bahut achchi tarah se. (and he smiled)
Abhijeet got what he was saying and he smiled.
Tarika- Tum dono ke dimag mein kya khichdi pak rahi hai ? Kya soch rahe ho dono.?
Abhijeet and Daya smiled naughtily. Even Shreya joined them.
Tarika- Shreya….tu bhi…! Ab bolo bhi kya baat kar rahe ho tum teeno.
Shreya- Wo…..wo baat Rajat Sir batayenge. Hai na Sir ?
Rajat(surprised)- K…kaunsi baat …..Kaunsi baat Shreya?
Shreya- Ye toh aapko hi pata hoga na Sir ….M I right Purvi?
Rajat looked at Purvi and she smiled a bit. He looked at her and thought for a while…
" Aaj sahi mauka hai…Purvi ka birthday hai. Aaj hi keh deta hu kyunki agar derr hui toh Daya Sir mujhe chhodenge nahi. Aur main chahta hu ki main hamesha Purvi ki hasi ka kaaran banu. Yahi sahi hai…..Aaj keh deta hu."
Sachin noticed him lost and kept his hand on his shoulder.
Sachin- Kya hua Rajat? Kahan kho gaye? (Sachin used to call Rajat by his name outside bureau)
Rajat(came out of his trance)- Kuch nahi Sachin…..Bas aise hi kuch soch raha tha.
Vineet(took the point)- Jaldi se bataiye na Sir…..Varna purvi toh ye soch rahi hai ki wo kaise hum sab ko bahar nikale ghar se.
Purvi gave an angry glare to him.
Purviii- Kya bola Vinu ? Sabse pehle tujhe nikalungi main.
Vineet- Rajat Sir…..Dekho kya zamana aa gaya hai…Pehle toh din bhar kaam karvaya aur ab madam mujhe ghar se bahar nikalne pe tuli hui hai.
Purvi(hit him on his hand)- Tu nahi sudhrega na….tu chup nahi reh sakta. Bolna zaruri hai.
Vineet-Ouch…! Rajat Sir bachao ! Is ladki se mujhe bachao.
Vineet ran and hid behind Rajat. Purvi was behind him but then stopped on seeing Rajat in front of her. All others were enjoying this cute fight between two friends. Rajat smiled looking at Purvi.
Rajat- Uffo ! Tum dono kitna ladte ho?
Purvi- Sirr…..Pehle Vineet ne start kiya. Aap usey boliye na.(made a sad face)
Rajat- Vineeet ! Bas ! Aaj Purvi ka birthday hai …aaj toh mat satao usey.
Vineet- Main sata raha hu usey…Nahi Sir…..wo sata rahi hai . Aap usey toh kuch bolte nahi ho. Bas mujhe daant rahe ho. (He made a sad face)
Rajat(in a low tone)- Haan….Ab usey main kuch keh bhi nahi sakta.
Daya heard him and smiled. He kept his hand on his shoulder and said….
Daya- Lekin jo baat dil mein hai wo toh keh do. Achcha mauka hai. Keh kar toh dekho aur phir uske chehre pe aayi bahaar ko dekhna.
Rajat looked at him surprisingly and Daya nodded with a consent. Rajat smiled.
Abhijeet- Arey Rajat…..tum kuch kehne wale the na. Batao , Shreya kis baare mein baat kar rahi hai?
Rajat (shyly)- Haan…..Wo main aap sabse kuch batana chahta hu. Aur sabse pehle kisi se kuch kehna chahta hu.(HE looked towards Purvi who was staring at him)
Abhijeet(smiled)- Haan…haan….Bolo koi intezaar kar raha hai tumhara.
Rajat smiled and moved towards Purvi and hold her hand. She surprisingly looked up at him and saw him smiling.
Rajat- Purvi ! Aaj main tumse kuch kehna chahta hu. Tumse maine kal kaha tha na ki jo tohfa maine tumhe diya tha wo kyun diya aur wo kiske liye tha ye bhi.
Purvi(looked into his eyes)- Kiske liye tha Sir?
Rajat- Tumhare liye.
Purvi- Mere liye….lekin mere liye hi kyun?
Rajat(smiled)- Purvi….ye meri maa ka set hai. Aur unhone mujhse kaha tha ki jb main shaadi karun toh wo set main apni wife ko du yaani ki unki bahu ko. Lekin mere liye tum khaas ho. Aur main chahta tha ki ye main tumhe du….meri zindagi ke sabse ahem insaan ko.
Purvi was just looking at him. For her , it was not less than a dream that Rajat was confessing his feelings. All others were looking at them and smiling.
Rajat went on to his knees and hold her hands.
Rajat – Purvi ….Aaj main tumse kuch kehna chahta hu. Tumne har mod pe mera saath diya….jb papa pe khoon ka ilzaam laga tha aur phir jb mujhe goli lagi tb bhi tumne mera khayal rakha.
Purvi- Wo toh mujhe karna hi tha mere hi wajah se aapko goli lagi thi.
Rajat(smiled)-Toh kya zindagi bhar aise hi khayal rakhogi mera? Zindagi ke har mod pe mera saath dogi jaise aaj tk diya? I love you Purvi ! I'm lucky ki tum mere saath ho. Kya tum Miss Purvi Malhotra se Mrs. Purvi Rajat Kumar banna chahogi?
Purvi blushed to crimson red and just nodded her head in a Yes. She didn't know what to say. Rajat smiled widely. She just looked at him and hugged him tight…as if she will never let him go and whispered in his ears…
Purvi- I love you too !
All others were happy seeing them together. Daya was the happiest. Vineet took the chance.
Vineet- Ahem ahem…! Ab bs rajat sir ko hug hi karti rahegi ya khana bhi khilayegi?
Purvi separated from the hug and blushed and moved to the kitchen. Daya moved to Rajat.
Daya- Congratulations Rajat..! And Thanks a lot. Dekha kitni khush hai wo.
Rajat(smiled)- Thank you Sir ! I promise ki kabhi Purvi ki aankhon mein aansu nahi aane dunga.
Daya- Mujhe tumpar pura vishwas hai Rajat. All The Best !
Rajat- Thank you Sir.
In the Kitchen…. Tarika and Shreya went to Purvi who was still blushing. They looked at her smiled.
Tarika- Shreya….chal dekhte hai Meri bhabhi ne kya special banaya aaj (to Purvi)- Toh Bhabhi aaj kya special hai?
Purvi blushed when Tarika called her Bhabhi.
Shreya- Arey dekho toh Purvi toh sharma gayi.
Meanwhile , Vineet entered.
Vineet- Hain..! Purvi ko sharmana aata hai? Mujhe toh pata hi nahi tha.
Purvi threw an angry glare on him.
Vineet(exclaimed)- Ailaa…! Ab toh rajat sir bhi nahi bachayenge mujhe. Wo bhi Purvi ki side lenge. Ab Purvi se kaun bachayega mujhe.
Shreya and Tarika accompanied Vineet in teasing her. Then the ladies served the food and called all for dinner.
Daya- Kya baat hai Purvi …..itna sab kuch banaya tumne..Kya baat hai !
Purvi- Haan …! I wish sabko pasand aayega.
Rajat- Haan…zarur pasand aayega. Tum itna achcha jo banati ho.
Purvi smiled. At the same time , the doorbell rang.
Rajat- Purvi…Kisi aur ko bhi bulaya tha kya?
Purvi-Nahi Sir….Aap log khana khaiye main dekhti hu.
Tarika- Ab bhi mere bhai ko "Sir" kahogi tum Purvi? (And she laughed)
Purvi blushed and Rajat smiled slightly when she went to open the opened the door and found a person standing. He was holding a big packet.
Purvi- Ji kahiye ….aapko kisse milna hai?
Man- Are you Rajat Kumar?
Purvi(confused but nodded )- Haan…Kahiye.
Man- Ma'am….This parcel is for you. Please yahan sign kar dijiye.
Purvi smiled and signed and took the parcel. She turned and found Rajat standing behind her and smiling.
Purvi- Sir….ye aap kya kar rahe hai…ek aur gift?
Rajat didn't replied and moved closer.
Purvi- Sir….boliye kuch
Rajat- Pehle ye "Sir" bolna band karo aur is gift ko kholo.
Purvi opened the gift and there was a beautiful maroon and white colored Lehenga with matching accessories. There was another gift in it. Purvi opened it and found a small teddy bear.
She took it out and caressed it…. She pressed on the heart and a voice came out …
"I love you Purvi ! "
Purvi was surprised and looked at him.
She again pressed it and now it was a bit louder.
"I love you Princess Purvi !"
All she could do was to see the teddy bear and then Rajat. She just cuddled the teddy and now it echoed…..
"I love You Mrs Rajat Kumar!"
Listening this Purvi blushed and Rajat pulled her in a hug. All others, came out hearing the sound. DaReya and AbhiRika were the happiest.
Tarika- Rajat….Ab kya tum meri bhabhi ko hi hug karte rahoge…..Mujhe nhi karoge?
RajVi separated at this sudden voice. Purvi blushed and Rajat smiled shyly.
Rajat- Tere paas toh Abhijeet Sir hai na. Tum toh bhul gayi apne bhai ko.
Purvi(went to Daya)- Par main nhi bhulungi apne bhaiya ko.
Daya hugged her and kissed on her forehead.
Rajat- Haan …..aur mujhe bhi nahi bhulne dogi.
Purvi- Kya matlab?
Rajat- Matlab ye…..ki agar tum mujhse naraz ho gayi aur ye baat Daya Sir ko pata chal gayi toh mujhe sazaa milegi. Aur tumhe pata hai Daya Sir ki saza…..(and he smiled)
All others laughed at his statement including Daya.
Daya- Arey bhai Rajat….Mujhe apni behen se saza thodi leni hai. Tum khud hi solve kar lena.
Vineet(naughtily)- Aur Sir…..Purvi ka gussa hona aap pe bhari nhi padega. (and he laughed)
Rajat glared at him and he said…
Vineet- Rajat Sir…..ab toh gussa mat karo. Bas mujhe purvi ke gusse se bacha lena….pleasee…(he made a scared face like a kid. Everyone laughed.)
Purvi- Acha chaliye….Ab khana khate hain.
All others moved to the dining space. Purvi served to all of them. They all happily enjoyed the dinner.
Sachin- Sir….aaj ka din toh sabse achcha hai. Aaj CID mein ek aur official couple jud gaya hai.
RAJVI blushed.
Shreya – Haan…Aaj toh purvi ka sabse achcha din hai …kyun Purvi?
Purvi(blushed)- Haan…..Meri ek aur zindagi ki shuruat.
Daya(kept his hand on her head)- Hmm…aur ab meri behen ki zindagi mein sirf khushiyan hongi.
Rajat(hold her hand)- Main waada karta hu Sir…..purvi ko wo saari khushiyan dunga ko jiski wo haqdaar hai.
Daya(smiled)- Jaanta hu isliye toh Purvi ko tumhe saunp raha hu.
Daya took purvi's hand and kept it on Rajat's hand. Purvi smiled. He blessed them with all the happiness. All of them were very happy.
Abhijeet- Daya…..ab hume jld se jld inki engagement karva deni chahiye.
Daya- Haan Boss ! Main kal hi baba se milunga aur sagai aur shaadi ki dates final karunga.
Abhijeet- Hum dono chalenge.
Daya- Theek hai !(to Rajat)- Rajat….Baba jb free ho tb batana.
Rajat- Sir…jb aap chahein tb unse mil sakte hai.
Tarika(teasingRajat)- Ohh…mere bhai ko badi jldi ho rahi hai….Kyun?
Rajat- Tarikaa….tujhe bada maza aa raha hai.
Tarika and all others laughed.
Daya- Ab hume chalna chahiye…..! 11 baj chuke hai.
Shreya- Haan….in sab baaton mein waqt ka pata hi nahi chala.
And then they all left from Purvi's home. Only Rajat was left.
When Purvi closed the door….He hugged her from behind. Purvi shivered.
Rajat- Toh kaise lage tohfe?
Purvi- Bahut achche lage. Meri zindagi ka sabse yaadgaar birthday rahega ye.
Rajat- And I promise ….aage aane wale saare birthday yaadgaar honge tumhare liye.
Purvi(smiled)- Haan….Aap jo honge mere saath.
Rajat- Haan hamesha.
Purvi- apne waada kiya tha ki aap hamesha mere saath rahenge aur aapne usey pura bhi kiya. Thank you for everything.
Rajat(smiled)- Tumne bhi toh apna waada nibhaya. Aur ab is thank you ko rakho side mein. Ab toh is thank you ki zarurat nhi padegi kyun Mrs Purvi Kumar?
Purvi blushed when he called her "Mrs Purvi Kumar "
She looked at him and hugged him tight. In the hug she asked…
Purvi- Aap kabhi mujhe chhod ke nhi jayenge na?
Rajat(separated and cupped he face)- Kabhi nahi Purvi ! I promise.
Purvi smiled and hid her head in his chest. He caressed her hair and placed her chin on her head.
Rajat-I love you Purvi !
Purvi- I love you too !
Rajat smiled. That hug was so soothing for Purvi that she didn't want to leave him.
Rajat- Acha Purvi…ab main bhi chalta rakhna apna. Kal subah milte hai.
Purvi became a bit sad as she didn't want him to go. He moved to the door and called her again. Now Purvi did something unexpected. She moved to him and kissed him on the cheek. He was surprised and smiled at her act.
Purvi(smiled)- Gud Night . Khayal rakhiyega apna.
Rajat (smiled)- Good Night .Take care and I love you !
Purvi smiled and waved him good was at the door looking at him until he disappeared from her eyes. She was so very happy. She locked the door and took the gifts to her room. She changed and cuddled the teddy Rajat gave her and drifted into sleep with a big smile on her face waiting for a new morning of her life.
