Pikatwig: *humming the beat to Dragon Road, theme of Kamen Rider ZX.* Man, that is so catchy.

KKD: I get the idea… but in case you didn't notice, we're live.

Pikatwig: I was just humming. I've finally seen the subtitled Kamen Rider Taisen… it was pretty good. Anyway, we're talking about the Super Sentai… which kinda brings me to my primary complaint about that movie, it's still technically a Super Hero Taisen movie… and there are a total of eight Super Sentai characters, Daigo, Gabutyra, Schwartz and the Tokkyugers.

KKD: Yea, and I can think of at least a few other teams to include into this. MagiRed because his suit actor is Takaiwa Seiji, the man who portrayed almost every Heisei and Neo-Heisei era Kamen Rider, along with MagiShine for being one of the earlier characters to have a train mecha. Speaking of which, to go further, we got GoGoV with their train mecha. That's an additional seven characters at the least we could've somehow included!

Pikatwig: Yea. *writes some notes of what KKD said on a notepad* I'll be sure to keep these ideas in mind…

KKD: Good. I mean, you even pointed out a line Den-O said in the Taisen, "When it comes to trains, I'm the granddaddy of them all!" ...or something like that. But think about it. If we included the senshi I mentioned, we could have them counter him and make a pretty funny scene. Then we could've had a TRIPLE TRAIN MECHA FINISHER! ...Okay, who turned on my epic voice for that one?

Pikatwig: *shrugs* But it would at least give us more Ressha, since at this time, every team prior to Go-Onger only has sounds for their Ressha in the TokkyuChanger. Anyway, shall we get started before we continue rambling?

KKD: Yea… sorry folks.

KKD: Oh, I just remembered, maybe we can add Go-Ongers into it too for the Kyoryu-themed Ressha and… *fades to black as chapter begins.*

"So… what's this Key all about Bowy?" Twilight asked, showing Rainbow Dash the Key she found.

"I dunno. I never saw a key like it before," Dash admitted, looking the clear white key over.

"Could it be a Phantom Ranger Key?" Scootaloo wondered.

"No, they all turned into the Buddyroid Keys… I still never really understood how the Buddyroids are the Grand Power of the Go-Busters," Dash responded.

"If that's so, how'd you end up with that dragon form of your mecha?" Twilight asked.

"It's an animal, may be a mythological one in their world, but an animal nonetheless," Dash responded. "Anyway… let's continue this conversation in the morning, I kinda gotta get to reading to Scoots."

"Right," Twilight nodded, taking the key back before leaving.

"Read me a story of the Tokkyugers," Scootaloo requested, sitting down on her bed in Rainbow Dash's old bedroom, with Rosie sitting in her own kitty bed not to far away.

Dash gave a nod to Scootaloo, before getting the Tokkyuger book, seeing there was more to their adventure in Zawame City.

'Wonder why it's getting more and more back? Is it something we've been doing?' Dash thought before opening the book, "Alright… so in the city of Gaim..."

"The first, or the you from the other dimension?" Scootaloo checked.

"The first. Anyway, a war had broken out between the Kamen Riders, with the Super Sentai Senshi standing in the middle ground," Dash began. "...Oh, the Shadow Line is involved in this. Somehow entering something called the Sands of Time to attack the train themed Kamen Rider, Den-O."

"Den-O? Why would he call himself Train King?" Scootaloo asked.

"...I have no idea," Dash shrugged, "Anyway, the fight continued for a while… little involvement of Sentai… oh, here's something. Daigo arrives in the city to aid the heroes…"

"Just Daigo?"

"Yea… just Daigo. I don't see much else about the other Kyoryugers in there. But what is interesting is that Den-O's train, the Denliner, was actually able to combine with Tokkyu-Oh. Initially, Denliner was the one to form the head, but Daigo literally shoved him off so Gabutyra-turned-ressha would take over, forcing the Rider to be the feet."

Scootaloo just started to laugh like nuts, finding the whole scenario funny. "I can picture it"

A mysterious sort of tyranno-skeleton kaijin knocked Tokkyu-Oh down to the ground, which got the attention of KyoryuRed.

"GABUTYRA! SHOW 'EM YOUR BRAVERY!" KyoryuRed shouted as the red and yellow t-rex mecha, Gabutyra, rushed towards the fight before taking a leap into the air.

=KYORYUGER RESSHA!=

This caused the T-rex to somehow transform into a train with the T-Rex head, as KyoryuRed jumped inside to find a cockpit similar to that of the Red Ressha.

"Kyoryuger Ressha no shippatsu shinkou da ze! It's gonna get wild! Try and stop us if you can!" KyoryuRed shouted as he raced forward.

=DEN-O RESSHA!=

Suddenly, a red, black, and white bullet train came zooming out of a mysterious portal, and inside was the Rider, Den-O.

"Ore sanjou! If we're going trains, I'm the granddaddy of them all!" Den-O smirked as Tokkyu-Oh stood back up and turned to see the two ressha zooming over, "Ore gattai!"

"Ressha Gattai!" Tokkyu1 shouted as the trains shifted for combination.

=MAIDO GO JOSHA ARIGATO-GOZAIMASU. A SPECIAL RESSHA SHALL NOW BE JOINING US!=

With that, the Red Ressha removed itself as the engine of the Denliner unhitched from the rest before inserting itself into the spot on Tokkyu-Oh, the helmet of Den-O (which was had a red peach visor and a train motif seen in the silver mouthpiece), formed on the mecha.

"Oh! That's wrong!" KyoryuRed shouted

=KYORYU ARRIVAL!=

Suddenly, the Denliner engine was forced off, replaced with the Kyoryuger Ressha, the head being that of Kyoryuzin, while the Blue and Green Ressha legs were replaced by the ends of the Denliner. This form was completed with the with summoning of a large blue and yellow sword themed after a stegosaur's back.

"Kansei, Tokkyu-Oh Kyoryuzin! Featuring Denliner!" the senshi shouted in unison.

"Oi! Why am I the legs?!" Den-O snapped in response, obviously upset with Daigo stealing the spotlight.

"Again, Daigo stole the spotlight. Hey, if you ever met him, pass this message on, 'why are you such a showboat?'" Scootaloo told Dash, causing Dash to giggle a bit.

"Yea… I'll be sure to pass that on the next time I see him," Dash nodded.

"Also… I just now noticed something, his aibou is one too. How many forms does he have total?"

"Five…" Dash informed. "No other Senta mech has had that many…"

"Yowza… that's ridiculous. Well… that was a boring story." Scoots noted.

"Sorry… but the Sentai are like B-Cast characters in this…"

"I can see that… mou… isn't there a cool Sentai Story you can tell me?"

Dash let out a sigh and started to flip through her books, before looking over to the Mataranger book. "I guess there's a new tale of the Matarangers…"

(Cue Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger opening theme)

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

Susume! Yuuki no hata kakage (Forward! Hoist the flag of courage!) *A red pirate ship floats through the skies of Equestria, as Rainbow Dash clears the sky of clouds.*

Nanatsu no umi wo kake-nukero (Dashing through the seven seas) *Twilight Sparkle stands on the bow of the ship, looking out to the Equestrian horizon.*

Ichi ka bachi ka muteki na kaze kimi wo michibiku (Sink or swim, the invincible wind will guide you) *She looks out, and sees her magic holding the Ranger Key of GokaiRed before seeing faint images of the red rangers of every Super Sentai.*

Mezase chizu ni nai basho wo (Your goal isn't on any map) *Twilight is seen with the rest of the Mane 6, Twilight checking a map while the others worked on the red ship in question, such as Applejack manning the ropes while holding the GokaiBlue Ranger Key with her tail.*

Maboroshi nanka ja nain da (It's no illusion) *Rarity looks at a yellow gem, before holding the GokaiYellow Ranger Key.*

Tada hitotsu jibun dake no takaramono dare mo sagashiteru (Everyone is searching for their very own treasure) *Pinkie was in the middle of giving the inside a bit of a paint job, holding the GokaiGreen Ranger Key with her lower right hoof as Fluttershy helps, holding the GokaiPink Ranger Key.*

Tashikametai ze minna onaji ja nai kara (I want to check to see that everyone is not the same) *Suddenly, a flash shows all the suits of the Super Sentai hovering around, with Rainbow Dash, holding the GokaiSilver Ranger Key, flying amongst them.*

Yaritai koto wo yatte yare (Just do what you want) *A shot of outerspace is seen, and the Neo-Zangyack look at the planet where Equestira is at.*

Inochigake daze Hoshitte do sono te de tsukame (It's life or death, if you want it, then grab it!) *Back on Equestria, the Mane 6 stand firm with GokaiPhones and Ranger Keys in hoof.*

Let's go! Let's Gokaiger! *The Mane 6 then look at the Ranger Key Chest, which has a note by it, and then they hold the Gokaiger Ranger Keys to their hearts.*

Go! Go! Let's Go! Let's kaji wo tore! (Let's take the helm!) *The Mane 6 are then seen executing the transformation poses for the Gokaigers as they transform into pony versions of said heroes.*

Kimi no mae no hirogaru umi michi naki michi wo yukou! (Forward to these uncharted routes in these vast seas in front of you!) *Princess Celestia looks on from the blazing sun, and smiles at the six.*

Let's go! Let's Gokaiger! *Princess Luna also looks on later that night from the glowing moon, as does Princess Cadence from the Crystal Empire, both also smiling at the Mane 6.*

Go! Go! Let's Go! Let's arashin naka! (Let's sail into the storms!) *The stars then turn into the helmets of the 40 Super Sentai teams, all looking at the Mane 6 with an approving look. However, the Gokaigers are helmetless while looking at their successors.*

Ganbaru kino no gamushara ga ima kono sekai wo kaeru ze (Your persistent recklessness will change the world) *At a nearby cliff, Sunset Shimmer watches the Mane 6, with glowing violet eyes…*

Dekkai yume wa mugendai! (Big dreams are endless!) *All of the Mane 6 get a headshot while smiling, looking at the area in front of them, knowing adventure is out there.*

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger~! *The opening ends with the Gokai-Ponies slashing at the screen with the Gokaiger flag and story title behind them.*

Chapter 23: Colors of Darkness Part III

"What happened?! I can't find any sort of glitches in the suits, I don't get it!" Sunset shouted angrily.

"...Oh shut up, will ya?! I'm trying to rest!" Lightning snapped.

"I'm trying to figure this out! You all said your suits malfunctioned, but I can't find anything wrong with them!"

"...You sure about that?" Harmony asked, "We felt like something disrupted our powers…"

Sunset let out an annoyed groan, not sure what was going on with the Ranger Keys and the powers, all of her tests not showing anything.

'How could this possibly fail? I'm gonna need to run a test… and there's really one good way to do that,' Sunset pondered.

Three days later, things had settled down a little bit, with Twilight simply trying to figure out the mystery of Clear White Ranger Key, but having no luck so far.

"Mou… just what is this key for?!" Twilight groaned.

"Okaa-san! Bad news!" Scootaloo shouted, rushing in, panting. "There's something bad!"

"What is it, Scootaloo?" Twilight asked.

"One second," Scootaloo informed, before rushing over to try and get Rosie into the room, showing that a few more symbols on her little coat had changed colors to red, the symbols being those of Hurricanger, GoGoV, Kakuranger and Dairanger.

"NANI?! How'd they…" Twilight gawked, when suddenly, the symbol of the Flashmen had changed red as well. "Okay… Dash said that she has no idea how Basco managed to get that Grand Power, so I have no idea how Sunset was able to."

"...Okay… in any case, counting up the blue colors we have nine, and the baddies have eight," Scootaloo informed.

"Mou… we've got a lot to recover later," Twilight sighed, her eyes looking back over the ones they did have, which were Tokkyuger, Kyoryuger, Go-Buster, Magiranger, Dekaranger, Abaranger, Gaoranger, Timeranger and Zyuranger, and then her eyes wandered over two symbols in particular, those of the Virtualrangers and Matarangers to see they were still missing from either side, "...Wonder where those are…"

"No idea," Scootaloo shrugged, as Spike walked in.

"Well, we do know one thing, when those teams worked together, the Neo-Zangyack began their attack on the other world, and in response, the Gokaigers got the Ranger Keys back," Spike informed.

"Where'd you learn that again?" Twilight inquired.

"One of the Dekarangers told me."

"Gee… that could've been useful information," Twilight sighed, when suddenly, the Galleon was launched under attack by the Nega GokaiGalleon again, "Oh no, not again!"

"Yo yo yo, GokaiEgghead!" GokaiCrimson chuckled.

"Oi vey… girls, launch the Galleon!" Twilight groaned before they got up in the air.

"Gokai Change!"

=GO~KAIGER!=

With that, Twilight transformed before she joined her teammates on the GokaiGalleon, quickly launching the other Gokai Machines to form GokaiOh.

"Kansei, GokaiOh!"

"Kansei, GouZyuZin!"

Thus, the two mecha charged in, attacking the Nega GokaiGalleon, easily knocking it back.

"Grr… let's show them our power! Launch the Nega Gokai Machines!" Crimson shouted.

And then, just like with the GokaiGalleon, the Nega counterpart released their own Gokai Machines, including a Violet Trailer, a White Sub (which unlike the original was more pink), a Black Racecar, and a Navy Jet.

"Hoo boy…" GokaiSilver gulped.

"That can't be good," GokaiPink added.

The Nega Gokai Sub and Nega Gokai Trailer began to blast GokaiOh, while the Nega Gokai Jet and Nega Gokai Racer attacked GouZyuZin by ramming into the dino mech.

"Oh, c'mon!" GokaiSilver snapped, trying to swat away the Nega Gokai Jet like a fly, "This is getting annoying really fast!"

"Why don't we really tick em off boss-chan?" GokaiGold asked.

"Oh yea, launching the Nega Gokai Ressha!" GokaiCrimson chuckled, when a train track appeared, GokaiGold boarded a gold colored steam locomotive, which zoomed onto the scene.

"What the?!" GokaiSilver gawked, seeing this, the train ramming right into GouZyuZin, causing it to falter.

"TimeRobo, I need your help!" GokaiSilver shouted, loading in TimeRobo's Key, allowing TimeRobo Alpha to appear and catch GouZyuZin, "Whew! Thanks."

"Okay, so the rumors are true. You are able to summon in the past Super Sentai Mechs?" GokaiGold responded, "Well, this is an interesting twist.

"Whatever. Why don't you show off what else that Ressha of yours can do?" GokaiCrimson told Gold.

She nodded, before making the front part begin to make a chomping attack, like it was an alligator, and it soon chomped on GouZyuZin's leg.

"Minna, we need to fight a train with a train!" Red shouted, taking out TokkyuOh's Key.

=MAIDO GO JOSHA ARIGATO-GOZAIMASU. TOKKYUOH, KENSEI ITASHIMASU!=

"And a little show for you Twil. MagiKing, we need your help too!" Silver added, taking out another Key, with yet another Sentai mech appearing by Tokkyu-Oh, the legs being blue and black, the lower torso being green and black, the upper torso having red, black, and gold for the Magiranger M, a wizard's hat with a vague hinting of pink in it's black and silver design, along with black, silver, and yellow wings, and silver being all over the mecha as well.

"Oh my! It's MagiKing!" Red giggled like a little school filly. "The mech of the 29th Super Sentai team!"

"...what an egghead," Crimson sighed annoyed.

"Watch your mouth around my girl, cause if you don't, I'll make you SUFFER!" GokaiSilver snaped, arming the drill, making it smack the Nega GokaiGalleon, before TimeRobo Alpha, Tokkyu-Oh and MagiKing aided in the attack.

"Crimson-chan, I think it's time!" White shouted.

"Get ready minna, we'll show Sunset our powers will work and we will take those fakers down!" Violet shouted.

"Nega Gattai!" Crimson announced.

Suddenly, the Nega Gokai Trailer and Nega Gokai Marine headed up and combined where the GokaiJet and GokaiRacer would on GokaiOh, while the Nega Gokai Jet and Nega Gokai Racer combined where the GokaiTrailer and GokaiMarine would on GokaiOh, while the Nega Gokai Ressha folded and attached onto the Nega Gokai Jet and Nega Gokai Racer, similar to how the Build Ressha would for Chou Chou Tokkyu-DaiOh.

"Oh shoot…" GokaiSilver gulped.

"Kansei, Nega GokaiOh!" the six Nega Gokaigers shouted out as the mecha attached a hat that looked like GokaiOh's with an eyepatch on one of the eyes onto it's head.

"...We're in trouble, aren't we?" GokaiRed asked.

"Relax Twi, they may have the Grand Powers, but they don't actually know how to use them," GokaiSilver assured.

"Come on!" Crimson shouted as Nega GokaiOh charged in, and instead of slashing the mecha with blades, it pulled out a couple pistols and fired at them, with MagiKing using a magical energy to block out the attack to try and shield GokaiOh and GouZyuZin, but the blasts forced TimeRobo Alpha and Tokkyu-Oh to falter for a moment.

"That was too easy," Navy scoffed.

"It sure was," Black added.

"Let's do it again!" White added in.

"Not just yet," Crimson informed, taking out an orb with the Hurricanger symbol on it, she proceeded to place it into something on her wheel, when suddenly, a small green, gray, and gold ninja-like robot flew in on a giant shuriken wielding gold and silver shuriken that had red Gokaiger symbols on them.

"Eh?!" Pink gawked.

"Isn't that the Grand Power of the Hurricangers?" Red asked.

"Yea, it's Furaimaru, but… how did…?" Silver responded, still stunned, before GokaiOh smacked GouZyuZin in the head.

"You jyxned it Dashie!" Green shouted.

"Okay… I had that coming," Silver admitted.

"Now we're cooking," GokaiViolet smirked before Furaimaru flew down and combined with Nega GokaiOh, giving Nega Gokai-Oh green parts with the shurikens Furaimaru held, the Hurricaneger symbol on the chest, and a helmet that looked similar to Furaimaru's face, along with red and silver "wings" on the sides.

"Kansei, Hurricane Nega Gokai-Oh!"

"Uh oh…" Silver gawked.

"Chou Grand Power, Activate!" the core Gokaigers announced, causing Tokkyu-Oh to revert and then combine.

"Kansei, ChouTokkyu-GokaiOh!"

"Wait… was that how the Grand Powers were supposed to work?" Black wondered.

"I don't think so…" Gold responded.

"Whatever, we still got a Grand Power they don't have experience with. Let's use it!" Crimson told her teammates before they tossed a shuriken at ChouTokkyu-GokaiOh, causing some damage to the Tank and Fire Resshas.

"AGH! The Tank and Fire Ressha have been compromised!"

"We'll summon the Power Animals now," GokaiRed noted, taking out the Goaranger Keys. "Chou Grand Power, Activate!"

=GAO~BAT!=

"Kansei, ChouGao-GokaiOh!"

Hurricane Nega GokaiOh charged forward, attacking ChouGao-GokaiOh with fast punches, with ChouGao-GokaiOh using the bat wings as a means of defense.

"C'mon! How's that even possible?!" GokaiWhite shouted, irritated.

"Twilight… I don't want GaoLion and GaoBat to get hurt…" Pink told Red.

"I'm doing my best to make sure they're safe, Fluttershy," Red responded.

"If you meanies hurt these two, I'll never forgive you!" GokaiPink shouted to the Nega Gokaigers.

"Whatever," GokaiWhite shrugged off. "Why care about dumb ol' animals?"

"You shouldn't have said that," GokaiBlue informed.

"...You… YOU MONSTER~!" GokaiPink roared, causing the Power Animals to roar as well, deafening the Nega Gokaigers before ChouGao-GokaiOh attacked with all of it's might.

"Grr… it's time!" GokaiCrimson shouted before taking out all of the Grand Power spheres, loading them into her command wheel, causing several Sentai mechs to appear by Hurricane Nega GokaiOh.

The first to appear was a samurai mecha with a silver, black and pink turtle for the right arm, a yellow monkey for the left, a blue dragon for the left leg, a green bear for the right, and a red lion for the torso. The second mecha was one completely feline themed with a red tiger for the main body, and a blue jaguar and yellow cheetah for the lower legs. The third mecha was all vehicle themed with the majority of it being a red dump truck, a blue gyrocopter on the back, a black racecar for the torso, and a white and pink sub and a yellow bulldozer for the arms. The fourth was a somewhat bulky mech with the Hurricanger symbol on the chest, the majority of the body being gold, silver, and blue with a golden yellow lion's head on the left shoulder, a dolphin's head on the right, and the entire head being a red hawk being the head with a face like a ninja mask. The fifth of these was a mecha made of rescue vehicles including a red fire truck for the main body, a blue fire truck for the lower torso and upper legs, a green hovercraft for the back and helmet, and a yellow armored car and a white and pink ambulance for the legs. Mecha number six also had a ninja vibe to it, with a black frog for the legs, a yellow bear for the body, a red right arm that looked humanoid with a fist and a gold S on the shoulder (this mech being ape-themed), the left arm looking like a wolf with a chopping hand and an odd gold shape on the shoulder, and finally a white and pink crane mech for the entire head. The seventh mecha had the vibe of a Chinese warrior with a red humanoid dragon underneath a suit of armor made of a green, gold, and black lion, a blue and yellow pegasus, a yellow and black kirin, and a reddish-pink phoenix for the "skirt". Finally, the last mecha to appear was the oldest looking with a very simple design being blue, red, and silver with yellow for the chest and eyes.

"...Dash… what are all those mechs?" Red asked.

"Uh… let me see… there's Shinken-Oh, GekiTouja, DaiBouken, Senpuujin, Victory Robo, Kakure Daishogun, Dairenoh, and Flash King, the mecha of the Shinkengers, Gekirangers, Boukengers, Hurricangers, GoGoV, Kakurangers, Dairangers, and Flashmen respectively," Silver listed.

"We're in trouble, aren't we?" Red gulped.

"Ya think?" Silver and Green asked in unison before the eight mecha charged at ChouGao-GokaiOh, attacking it in their own way, whether with a blade or a fist that they had, knocking ChouGao-GokaiOh to the ground, with GaoBat and GaoLion trying to get back to safety.

"The finish-" Crimson began, when suddenly, energy began to spark off of all of them, making them scream in pain again.

"Again?!" Gold gawked.

"How…?!" Violet added before screaming loudly.

"What's happening to them?" Red wondered, before the Nega Gokaigers left.

"That was so odd…" Dash noted.

"Yea… that was weird," Twilight added as she was helping Fluttershy tend to GaoLion and GaoBat, who thankfully were not too hurt, but still managed to get damaged. "I hope you're not mad."

"This isn't too serious," Fluttershy responded, tending to GaoLion's legs, earning a small growl/whimper from the lion. "Don't worry, you'll be okay."

"So what happened earlier? Their powers just… malfunctioned?" Spike asked.

"I guess. I'm not sure," Twilight admitted, tending to GaoBat's wings.

"So they have the abilities that we can use," Spike noted, rather nervous. He sat down, simply trying to relax a little bit.

"Well, for all we know, they don't have access to the Super Grand Powers just because they have access to the rest," Rarity pointed out.

"Technically it's Chou Grand Power, but you got the translation from Negihponese right," Fluttershy informed.

"Oh… right," Rarity nodded.

"I'm not sure if that's the case. If they have everything else, what makes you think they can't access the Chou Grand Powers?" Twi asked.

"Think about it, Twil. We may be able to have access to the Grand Powers, but that's because the Gokaigers themselves managed to find them first. No one knew of the Chou Grand Powers before we did, at least to my knowledge. So, I think it's knowledgable only to us and the Sentai Senshi," Dash explained.

"I guess…" Twilight shrugged a bit confused.

"I'm sure we'll figure it out later, but basically, we're safe because they can't access those powers," Dash replied.

"I don't get it! What is causing these malfunctions! I've checked everything five times now, and nothing!" Sunset growled angrily.

"I got no idea," Cloud shrugged. "But… I am getting some sort of an odd energy signal… but I don't know what's causing it… it seems like it's… almost directed right at us…"

"Huh?" Sunset responded confused.

"Just give me some time and I'll figure it out, I promise," Cloud informed.

Pikatwig: Hmm… very interesting…

KKD: There's that malfunction again. I wonder what's causing it. Plus, the Gokaigers now have an opponent that can match them in almost every way, minus the Chou Grand Powers.

Pikatwig: And let's not forget the Nega Gokaigers now have the Grand Powers of the Hurricangers, GoGoV, Kakuranger, Dairanger and Flashman.
