I close my eyes as I feel the uncomfortable sensation of my bones and limbs stretching and fur pushing from my skin as I take the shape of my wolf. After a minute, I shake out my snow-white fur and lean my face to the sky, basking in the warm summer sunlight. There was no better feeling than the warm air through my fur, too bad there's going to be a limited amount of that where I'm going.

Greetings! If you are able to tell what I am by now than you deserve a gold star but if you haven't figured it out yet, don't worry I'm gonna tell you, just no star for you. Anyways, I'm a werewolf, names Liliana Lahote, I prefer Lili though. I live in California with my mom and stepdad, I have an older brother, Paul, but he lives in Washington with our dad. It's been awhile since I've seen them, but I text and call them constantly.

Our folks divorced when I six and Paul was eight, I decided to stay with mom and Paul went with dad. And now after over 10 years, I decided it was time I spent some time with him and the pack. Because as you can probably guess, there aren't a lot of other wolves out here in the city, I'm lucky enough to be able to go to the forestry once a week to shift.

Tomorrow is my flight and I can not describe how nervous and excited I am to meet his packmates and to finally be a part of a pack. May take some time to get used to, but hey, what could possibly go wrong?
