Elsa sat on a chair, her ice blue gaze fixated on one of the cells. She'd gotten praises all day about catching a city known wanted criminal. And you may think she's happy about this. But she was quite frustrated about it really. She was a police officer and always brought results. However this particular criminal always got away from her, they were someone she could call her nemesis.
And this person was known for always getting away, especially from Elsa. But for some reason, today, when Elsa had gotten an alarm about a break in she had known it was her nemesis. And she was also aware she'd gotten the alarm too late and she would only get there in time to see their back disappear or just not see them at all.
But when she got there, the criminal was leaning against a wall. Frown upon their face and even looking troubled. A woman who was probably just a year or two younger than Elsa, red hair in two braids, blue eyes soon connecting with her own. And when they did the redhead sighed as she got away from the wall.
"You took your time. Don't you normally get here quicker?" She had said, actually sounding annoyed. Elsa, mildly surprised over the fact the girl was still here, took out her nightstick, glaring at her.
"You're coming with me this time Anna." Yes she knew the girl's name, courtesy of the girl herself giving it to her. Anna grinned and walked closer, Elsa just then noticing that she was wearing shorts which showed her legs and a shirt which she'd hooked up a bit so her stomach was visible.
And while the blond wouldn't deny she liked girls, she really shouldn't see a criminal as attractive, but it was quite hard when Anna herself had seemed to show more and more of her body lately.
"And what makes it so officer? Last time we clashed like this I remember you being distracted by something and I managed to get your sweet ass on the ground and made away with your wallet. Which I gave back of course. I wouldn't want my favorite police officer go without money." She said, an amused grin on her face. Elsa suppressed a blush. Because the something she had mentioned had been Anna. It should be against the law for her to wear a tank top and short shorts.
"I'll admit you caught me off guard. But you're not getting away this time." Anna shrugged and before Elsa could react, she'd stepped closer to her, slid her hand up the arm holding the night stick and got their faces very close together. Elsa grit her teeth and Anna smirked.
She then rounded the blond, grabbing something off her belt. Elsa turned around, not even getting a chance to try grab the girl before she saw her standing there, hands behind her back and wrists put together by a pair of handcuffs. Anna faked a surprised expression and looked behind her, tugging at the cuffs.
"Huh.. I guess I spun them too much. This might be a problem." She said very nonchalantly, not looking very surprised at all. Elsa blinked, not sure how to react to the situation before her. Anna was right there, in cuffs, ready for her to just capture. But that fact was messing with her. "Hello? Earth to officer Elsa? I know seeing a girl in cufs is a fetish to some people but I didn't think it was a fetish of yours. Are you done staring?" The blond shook her head and glared at the redhead.
"On the ground, you won't get far with those on!" Anna chuckled and walked over to the police car, kneeling down beside it.
"Well done officer. You caught the feisty red demon." And those had been her last words before backup arrived. Elsa's colleges couldn't believe Anna had been caught but praised the blond as she was put in the car. But Elsa could still see the blue eyes smirking at her, leaving her with no feeling to celebrate. She hadn't caught her, she had caught herself.
The matter had disturbed her all day and when she came in from her patrol she took the duty to watch the prisoner. And now said girl was just laying on the bed with her eyes closed and hands behind her head. Elsa knew Anna had a record of easily breaking out of prisons, hence why she would be moved from this police station to a proper prison in another city when her trials were over.
"Anna.. You know I'm here don't you?" The girl behind the bars simply sat up, smirking eyes meeting ice blue.
"You always smell like fresh mint so yeah, it's hard not to notice you. Here to interrogate me officer?" Elsa stepped close to the bars, grabbing one as she frowned.
"Why did you let yourself be captured?" She asked straight out. Anna shrugged, pulling a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Let myself be captured huh? You don't give yourself enough credit." Elsa growled.
"I know you did this on purpose! I didn't capture you. Why?" Anna sighed, throwing her legs over the edge of the bed.
"Why would a police officer wonder why a criminal let themselves be caught I wonder? Isn't it called turning yourself in? Or are you one of those who doesn't think it counts unless you really catch me?" Elsa grit her teeth. She didn't know herself why it bothered her so much. Anna was a criminal so why should she care?
"You've kept this up for over a year. Why would you suddenly feel like turning yourself in!?" The redhead glanced at the officer.
"You sound like you wanted me to stay free. To still have someone to chase maybe?" Elsa didn't answer, just stood by the bars with a frustrated expression. Anna watched her for another few seconds before getting up from the bed. She walked close to the bars. "You're cute when you're frustrated."
Elsa jerked her head up, blush on her face about to retort but Anna grabbing her collar through the bars silenced her. "You've chased me for two years actually. Today actually makes it exactly two years. You could say it's a anniversary. And I just decided to give you a gift. And what better gift than have you finally capture me?" Elsa should get away but the redhead's stare was keeping her in place.
"Why would you risk your freedom for something like that?" Anna smirked and leaned closer to the bars.
"Because I wanted my gift." Elsa didn't have to wonder what she was talking about for long. She pulled her collar so she was as close to the bars as she could be without smashing her face against them. Then she leaned closer and kissed her between the bars. Elsa stiffened, eyes wide. Anna moved a little against her lips, making her feel the softness and warmth the kiss was giving her.
She took small notice to that Anna's hold on her collar loosened, giving her an opportunity to move away. But Elsa's sense had short circuited. She kissed her back, one of her hands reaching between the bars to caress the girl's cheek. Anna smiled into the kiss, closing her eyes as Elsa did the same. Elsa felt her heart racing. Her head was telling her to push away, she was kissing a criminal who she have been chasing for two years.
But part of her told her she'd been wanting to do this unconsciously for a while now. Every time Anna's exposed herself a bit more than usual she thought it was just her hormones playing tricks on her. But through all the times they've clashed she's grown fond of the girl. Actually wanting to touch her when she exposes herself. And this would answer a few things about Anna too. Would explain why they've clashed more than usual, why she talks and teases her so much, why she's never really been violent, why her latest crimes have just been small things. She knew it would just take the mention of her name and Elsa would be on the case. It actually reminded Elsa of their first meeting.
"Stop where you are! Let go of the gun and the money and this'll be much easier for both of us!" Elsa shouted, pointing her own gun at the robber. Said robber had no mask or anything just a hoodie. The girl turned around and their eyes met. Blue widened and the two of them stood there for a while. "Now!" The shout shook the redhead from her trance and a smile was put on her face.
"Isn't this ironic. Someone like you made it through law school?" Elsa didn't think much of the comment and pointed to the ground.
"Drop the money and gun." The redhead chuckled and threw the gun at Elsa. The blond wasn't prepared and lowered her own gun to catch the upcoming object, but then saw the redhead move in the background. "Damn it." But she was too late, the gun hit her, disorienting her and the redhead had reached her and grabbed her gun arm. She took the gun away from her and pointed it to Elsa's forehead.
"Got a D in reflexes huh? I advise you to not enter a quick draw shoot out." She said with a smirk. Elsa grit her teeth, not moving in case that would get her shot.
"Stealing and pointing a gun to a police officer. If you give this up now your sentence might not be so bad." Elsa said and the girl chuckled.
"Sorry officer. I'm afraid giving up is not in my vocabulary. I'm not so surprised it's in yours. Name's Anna, hope it'll stick with you this time. Hope it'll always ring a bell to you officer Elsa." Elsa's eyes widened at the sound the girl speaking her name.
"How did you-"
"I'm afraid our time have run out officer. I have t make my escape and you have a headache to deal with." And before she knew it, Anna hit her with the barrel of the gun so hard it made her stumble and fall over. Anna threw her gun away and grabbed her own before racing off. "See you later Elsa!" She'd shouted before going out of sight. She was never found by the police but Elsa knew she'd see her again.
That had been the only time Anna had used violence against her. Since then she was never seen with a firearm. Elsa had always wondered why she knew her name without her even saying it. But her thoughts were disturbed when Anna pulled away from her, stepping back with a smirk. The blond felt the urge to pull her back but didn't because her body refused to move. She was in shock but not the unpleasant kind.
"Thanks for the gift Snowflake." Anna said sweetly. Elsa felt her heart skip a beat. That nickname. She had been called that before.
"Anna?" The redhead chuckled.
"Wow, now it rings a bell? Well.." The door to the cell all of a sudden unlocked, Anna dashing out and pushing Elsa against the bars, holding her in place. The blond glanced at the door and saw the keys that had been hanging from her waist. "You're a bit too late to notice." Her eyes had grown cold, her hold on the blond tightening.
"Anna? Why are you.. How.."
"Why am I not the innocent and carefree girl anymore? How did we end up reuniting as a criminal and a police officer? The first question have a simple answer, which is actually the answer to the second too. You leaving me without a word for five years." Elsa was speechless. Five years ago her father had married a woman who already had another daughter. They became step sisters and were inseparable. They both soon found that they were in love with one another. They had kept it secret from her father and mother. But one day her father found out but didn't call them out.
He had taken Elsa and told her about how what they were doing was wrong, even if they weren't related by blood. He pretty much made Elsa leave and study law in another city. Eventually all the studying made her think her father was right so she cut her ties with the girl. She never expected, that five years later, that very girl would stand before her as a criminal. Now many things clicked inside Elsa's head. Anna's behaviour towards her the first day, her teasing.
"Anna.." The redhead frowned, something Elsa hadn't seen her do.
"I wanted you to remember.. But I didn't think it'd take you this long.." The blond didn't know what to say. She no longer saw the criminal, she only saw the girl she'd loved more than anything, looking hurt and angry. "Someone will come and check soon. I'm planning on leaving the city. I don't feel like I have a reason to stay here any longer." She placed a kiss on Elsa's forehead before letting her go. "See you later officer, thanks for the keys." Her smile was half hearted as she turned around and made a run for the station's backdoor.
Elsa remained frozen for a while until her body jolted and she started running after the redhead. She took off her police jacket, gun and night stick fell to the floor. She ripped off the police badge that was on her belt as well as the radio. Hat was the last thing which came off. When she reached the outside a flash of red near the buildings made her race off in that direction. Elsa took out her police ID, looked at it for a second, then turned around and threw it towards the station hitting a window. She bet some officers reacted to it but she turned and dashed after the red flash.
"Anna!" She shouted, her voice desperate. She felt faster for some reason. Usually she would have lost the girl by now. But the only answer she could come up with was because she didn't chase after the criminal. She was chasing the opportunity she'd lost five years ago. She refused to let it escape her now. "Anna!" The redhead heard the difference in the call. It was demanding or harsh. It was desperate and caring.
It made her slow down and this gave Elsa the opportunity to run faster and finally catching up to her. She threw herself at her, both falling over. Panting, Elsa stood on all four looking down on the redhead. They both just lay there, regaining their breaths. "I.. I caught you.." Anna looked away.
"What now? Taking me back to the station I presume?" Elsa took a few more breaths before smiling.
"I'm not authorized to do that. I got no badge or anything." Anna looked up at her in wonder and shock.
"What-" But Elsa leaned down and kissed her, interrupting her sentence.
"A normal citizen can aid the police in capture sure.. But I helped the criminal escape, making me an accomplice I guess." Elsa was smiling the most dorkiest smile ever and Anna got tears in her eyes as she smiled.
"Busting me out of prison isn't going to be enough you know." The blond ripped apart her officer self and showed the side of her that had been buried five years ago as she cried and hugged the girl.
"And I'm going to do everything I can to make it enough." She looked into the blue eyes and they were both watery.
"You're gonna have to stick with me for while then. Are you okay with being together with a criminal officer?" Elsa chuckled.
"I guess I'm a rogue officer." She then kissed her again, longer this time. Anna kissed her back. Would you believe Elsa was the officer who chased the criminal Anna just yesterday? Yeah, me neither.
Me: I'M NOT DEAD! WEEEE! *ducks from snowballs* DON'T MAKE ME DEAD PLEASE! I'M SORRY!
Elsa: *makes snowballs disappear before hitting me*
Me: Oh my god! Elsa! My queen and savior! Literally!
Elsa: Yeah, yeah, I'm helping you because I know the cubs would regret suffocating you with snowballs later.
Me: Right.. Ahem... Hi guys.. I eh, I'm not dead as you can see. I'm sorry for not updating literally anything for weeks, probably months. But school was being an ass and I was tired as fudge and my inspiration have been gone.. I think it took a long dumb vaccation without telling me..
Anna: Is that really a good enough excuse?
Me: no.. Maybe not.. But I really am sorry, and I'm trying my hardest to write so I can update both IANSAS and the sorceress one.. Hell I'm even writing on my negitoro stories if you'll believe it. CC might be coming back soon even, no promises though, I always break them..
Anna: This one is rather interesting though, when you think of it?
Me: Dun know. This is actually an older story I wrote a few weeks ago. There were some grammar issues and spelling and some of the plot didn't make sense. I tried to fix it enough so it was publishable at least. Th plot might still be confusing but yeah.. And there might still be some spelling probs cause my keyboard is fucked up..
Anna: well that's that I suppose.
Elsa: We hpe you enjoyed this, thank you for being patient and waiting for Wolf to update. We really love you guys and all the support you send. And if you so wish, review or PM Wolf your support and ideas, maybe even try and push her a little to get her going.
Me: And now you've doomed me..
Anna: You like seeing PMs in your inbox don't lie. Anyway. *hugs Elsa and waves* See you later cubs! Hopefully pretty soon! X3
