#Gonna get it done, Gonna get it done, Gonna get it done and GET THE HELL OUT OF MT. MOON! WOO NO MORE MT. MOON AFTER THIS! (for some reason, this mountain has sapped my creativity, I have no idea why) (also, do remember that follows, favorites, and holy shit especially REVIEWS, are a writer's best friend. Helps us know how we're doing)#
Pawniard and Kakuna were the first to spring from their pokeballs, landing next to Red and his Pikachu, who seemed to be the only Pokemon he had that was still conscious. Green took up position next to them, turning a couple of sharp, throw-able rocks in her hand, Ralts electing to stay on her shoulder, intending to act as a sort of mounted psychic turret gun, as Green could move faster then Ralts on foot, so if they were targeted, Green could move around and dodge attacks while Ralts focused on their attacker, making Ralts less reliant on teleport to avoid attacks and allow him to focus on attacking. Sarah stood behind them, next to Red, who was wounded on his left arm, and she began bandaging the wound with some bandages she took out of her bag, though Red made no indication of whether he actually noticed the gesture, his focus on the battle at hand.
Opposing the trio and their Pokemon were two Team Rocket members, both male. An unconscious Bibarel lay next to a bleeding and also unconscious Poochyena directly in-front of the the duo. Between the unconscious Pokemon and Red and the others stood a Arcanine and two fully conscious Poochyenas, one slightly larger and stronger-looking then the other. The two Rockets glared at Green and Sarah, and one of them, the one that looked like he was in charge of the other, spoke with a harsh, condescending tone, " So, the first brat had friends huh? How annoying, I can't believe a couple of children wiped out the rest of my team. My superiors will have my ass on a silver platter after this. I think I'll take out my frustration by killing or perhaps, if they're worthy, capturing your Pokemon, and of course, claiming my other spoils of war." The Rocket member glared at Green and Sarah lewdly enough to leave no room for imagination or doubt as to his intentions. Feeling slightly disgusted by this, Green got no small amount of satisfaction from watching him suddenly grasp his head in pain. Ralts had apparently been pissed off enough by his comment and intentions to attack him directly with confusion, and it was almost scary how much anger was radiating out of little guy.
The other Rocket member, the subordinate-looking one, yelled out for his two poochyenas to attack as they saw fit. One leaped for Kakuna right away, exchanging a bite attack for a poison sting, while the other slunk around and attempted to claw at Pikachu from behind, but was intercepted by a fury cutter from Pawniard. Pikachu jumped onto the Poochyena's back, and grabbed hold of it, slowing it down and limiting its movements so that Pawniard could just go to town with her fury cutter attack, the Poochyena could do nothing but sit there and take it. Meanwhile, Kakuna was just barely holding off the other Poochyena, whom had long since been poisoned, by jumping back and forth between a couple of spots on the ground, and using poison sting on it whenever it got to close. Kakuna didn't need to actually deal the finishing blow to the Poochyena herself, she just needed to wait for her poison to do its job, and at this rate, she would have no problem doing just that.
The boss-like Team Rocket member got up off his knees, and glared at Green and Ralts, identifying them as the source of his head pains. "Arcanine, get them! Bathe them in your flamethrower until they are nothing but dust on the wind!" ... Apparently he didn't take well to actually being hurt... Wimp. Arcanine opened its mouth and aimed at Green and Ralts, prompting Green to start running to the side to try to get behind Arcanine, while Ralts alternated between bursts of confusion aimed at Arcanine, and double team in hopes of avoiding at least some of the flamethrower attack. The flamethrower blast hit largely in the area where Green was before she started running, though the Arcanine turned its head as it blasted the flamethrower, not enough to hit Green and Ralts square on, but it did singe Green's backside. Luckily, it started sweeping the flamethrower the other way just as it started to reach Green, thrown off by the double team illusions. Green took advantage of its confusion to get behind the Arcanine, and then Jumped onto its backside, grabbing around its torso with her arms and digging the sharp rocks in her hands into its underside, simultaneously wrapping her legs around the Pokemon as well to strengthen her hold on him. Ralts then used confusion on both Rocket members, causing both of them to fall unconscious, thus preventing them for giving Arcanine instruction on how to free itself, and also making the other Pokemon fight in the room easier.
Despite losing the direction of its master, the Arcanine still had instincts and battle experience to rely on, so it started thrashing about, attempting to remove its unwanted tag-alongs that way, taking the pain of the rocks in its side like a champ, the thrashing may have made them hurt more, but the Arcanine could tell that it would be worth it in the end. And indeed, its efforts did bear fruit, as Ralts was thrown from his perch on Green, unable to hang on anymore, and hit the ground with a loud thud. There was no question that the fragile Pokemon had lost consciousness, for taking physical attacks was most certainly his strong point. And still Arcanine thrashed, at one point he managed to dislodge both of Green's arms, so that she was hanging on with just her legs, and though she quickly regained a hold on the Pokemon, this did cost her the loss of the rocks she was digging into its side, instead she now held to hims by the fur on his underside, hanging on now just to buy time until the others could help her, rather then to actually defeat as per her original plan.
Arcanine stopped thrashing and for a moment just stood there, causing Green to look up in confusion. Then it simply lay down on the ground, and rolled over, attempting to crush Green under his weight, or at least stun her enough to make her let let go, she did. The pain of its wait forced her to let go of it, and then it rolled off of her and stood over her, its forelegs on either side of her head, and its hind legs similarly positioned lower down on her body. it brought its face in close to hers and growled threateningly, halting her from going for her pokeballs. She and it remained there, eyes locked in what was essentially a stare-off. A stare-off that was suddenly interrupted when the Arcanine suddenly lurched to the side, having been hit by... something.
That something happened to be Kakuna, whom had apparently thrown herself in the Arcanine. Her Poochyena opponent could be seen on the other side of the room, crumpled in defeat. Arcanine batted the small bug-type away with its paw, keeping itself above Green, stopping her from standing back up. However, Kakuna suddenly started glowing white, and began growing, growing really fast. the while light spread out across the cave in a flash, momentarily blinding anyone. When it dimmed out into nothing, a Beedrill stood where Kakuna had fallen. Breedrill began fluttering her wings, and began hovering above ground, then suddenly launched itself forward, her twin drills glowing purple due to the poison from poison sting. She stabbed forward with her right drill, and Arcanine sidestepped to the left, ducking under the left drill as she thrust that one forward too. Arcanine then came up and bit Beedrill's left arm, shaking its head to throttle her, and then threw her across the room. Beedrill's wings flared up, and she manged to avoid hitting the ground or the walls, and came in for a second charge.
But this time, Arcanine had prepped a flamethrower attack, and it was far to late for Beedrill to change course to avoid it. Arcanine released the flamethrower, scoring a direct hit against Beedrill. This didn't last long however, for just as the flames reached and hit Beedrill, they suddenly veered off course, reducing the amount of harm done to the poor bug-type. Green had managed to pick herself up and had rammed into Arcanine's side as he blasted Beedrill, interrupting the attack. Unfortunately, Beedrill still suffered a lot of damage, and fell to the ground, but while she out, she was not in the life-threatening danger she would have been had Green not intervened. Arcanine, angry about the interruption of the attack, jumped onto Green, pushing her down onto the ground... again, and turned the remainder of the flamethrower attack onto her, hitting her squarely in the face. Green was prepared to scream, but oddly enough, the attack had not hurt has much as she thought it would. It still hurt, just not "flesh being seared off of bone" hurt. Of course, her eyes widened as she realized that this was due to her maxing out her calm mind move, a move which increased both special attack, and special defense, alongside the actual calming of the mind. Flamethrower being a special-type move, she should have realized that calm mind would afford her a certain level of protection against it. Of course, this realization had little priority in her mind at the moment, as she had more pressing matters to deal with, such as the fact that she was once again pinned down by a very large and angry fiery hell-hound, or the fact that her pokeballs had dislodged themselves from her belt, and now lay a good 2-3 meters away, unopened.
There was also the fact that the ground right directly next to her suddenly exploded with electrical energy, causing a loud high pitched ringing in her ears, and for a bunch of dirt and tiny rocks to fall onto her face. Another blast of electrical energy stuck Arcanine, but she was also caught in this blast, and it proved to be the straw that broke the camel's back ,for she lost all consciousness after it hit.
"Can't you aim better?" Sarah demanded of Pikachu, whilst returning her defeated Pawniard, and sending out Zorua (who took the form of Deino) to replace her. "You hit Green with that thunder shock too you know!" "Pika!" Came the response, while Red just shrugged and pointed forward, signalling another thunder shock towards the injured Arcanine. "Zorua, use leer on the Arcanine then foll-" Sarah's orders were cut off by the Arcanine using Roar, exhausted from having to fight so many foes in quick succession. It then blew a flamethrower straight at Red and Sarah and their Pokemon, causing them to duck for cover. The Arcanine took this opportunity to reach down with its mouth and grab Green by the neck of her shirt, lifting her up, and then made its way to the unconscious Rocket members, where it stepped on its pokeball, smashing it. Then it turned and faced the recovered Red and Sarah, who were getting ready to retaliate, but stopped when they saw Green unconscious and being held in Arcanine's mouth. The Arcanine glared at them, and released just the smallest amount of flame from its mouth, the threat all to clear. If they tried anything, Green would become fried chicken. Sensing their compliance with its threat, the Arcanine knelt down and used its paw to get the strap of his previous owner's bag into its mouth alongside Green, for the Arcanine knew that there was food and healing potions and berries in this bag and that would prove useful. Finally, with one last glare in the direction of Red and Sarah, it took off out of Rock Tunnel, and into the wilderness between the exit and Cerulean.
#Yea, I surprise myself sometimes I must admit. When I started this chapter, I didn't think I would do a kidnapping, much less by a pokemon, but there you have it, a kidnapping. Yea, I caught all of you off guard, caught myself off guard, I'M UNPREDICTABLE HAHAHAHAHAHAH *spins around a white swivel chair as the transmission cuts and you are left to wonder what exactly is wrong with me*#
