Final Chapter ~ Thanks for reading!

A decade had passed since the defeat of Evil Kid Buu.

During the ten year period a few things had changed in the life of our heroes.

For one, Gohan and Kinoko ended up graduating high school and now both work as scientist for a big important firm. Kinoko didn't go through five years of homeschooling, plus three more years of high school for nothing. She decided she was gonna make all that reading and writing pay off. None the less, she kept all the Son men, Gohan, Goku, and Goten, on their toes about their training. She constantly reminded them of the events that took place when Majin Buu appeared, and that they had to be prepared just in case. They had built and moved into a home next to Goku and ChiChi's.

Speaking of training, Niku and Hiru began under Piccolo when they were three and a half. Just as he promised Gohan and Kin when the twins were infants, he taught them the basics. That would include; flying, sensing ki, suppressing their energy as well as combat skills and energy blasts. When they turned six, they began training under Goku who was teaching them about Saiyan powers. The two of them were now ten years old and while they weren't training, they were homeschooled by their grandmother, ChiChi.

Candy still technically lived with Hercule but she spent most of her time with the Son family. She had softened herself up with Kin over the years. The two would argue and still get in physical fights as if they were sisters. They had a love/hate relationship. Candy also helped train the twins when they were students of Piccolo.

Videl continued her city duties and was now head of the police department. Her usual help came from Majin Buu and Candy instead of the actual police men. She as well had become great friends with Kin but the two of them would still get in arguments as if they were teenagers in high school.

The last big change in the lives of the family was a new addition. When they twins were seven years old, Gohan and Kinoko ended up having another daughter. Her name was Somen, and she resembled Gohan more than the twins did. She had all of his facial features except they were girlish, and unlike her older siblings, her hair was black, and it reached her mid back. She had light grey eyes, and tanned skin. From the age of three, she was already the most difficult child. She was very serious, pushy, obstinate, and sometimes a little passive aggressive. None the less, she was still Gohan's little girl so to him she was worth the head aches.

A/N: Drawings of Somen can be found on my deviantART account. Look at my gallery and click on my "Trials of a Saiyan Characters" folder.

It was a bright and beautiful day on Mt. Paozu as an 18 year old Trunks knocked on the front door of Gohan and Kinoko's home.

"Hey, knock knock." The lavender haired demi- Saiyan greeted. He knocked softly on the front door which made it creak open slowly. Trunks poked his head in through the door frame curiously. "Hello? Gohan? Kin?" He asked.

He entered the home with his hands in his pockets as he glanced around. As he kept walking he spotted a picture of Gohan and Kinoko at their graduation. He was holding her bridal style as she was cheering of finally being 'free'. Beside it was a picture frame of the twins with little Somen when she was a baby in the middle. Somen was giggling as she yanked on their hair pulling them close to her. Trunks chuckled softly at the looks on their faces.

"I don't believe it!" A feminine voice said gaining Trunks' attention. "Trunks! What are you doing here?"

Trunks smiled as he faced her. She was on a ladder with a stack of books in her hand.

"Hey Kin, it's been a while, huh?"

The female Saiyan chuckled before dropping the books on the ground and jumping off the ladder.

"Yeah it's a great surprise."

Trunks' eyes widened upon seeing the huge pile of books. He then looked at Kin who was in a simple black t- shirt and shorts.

"Doing a bit of reading?" He asked with humor in his voice.

She crossed her arms before rolling her eyes and glaring at the ground. "You could say so. Gohan and I have some stupid conference to attend."

Trunks glanced over to a table to where he saw many papers full of math formulas and notes.

"Wow Goten was right, you and Gohan are kinda nerds aren't you?"

Kinoko growled. "Gohan is a nerd, I'm a genius."

"Well that's nice to hear, sweetheart." A voice from the top of their staircase said.

Kinoko smirked back at her mate. "Well at least he's still in shape."

Gohan walked down the steps and smiled at his old friend. "Hey Trunks."

"Gohan it's great to see you."

The half Saiyan nodded. "Yeah it's been a while hasn't it. I don't think I've seen you since Somen's first birthday party."

Trunks nodded in agreement before looking around. "Now I see why it's so quiet here. Where are the twins and Somen?" He asked.

Gohan picked up the books Kin had dropped on the floor before glancing back at the bookshelf which took up an entire wall.

"The twins are out with my dad and Goten. I think Somen is with Piccolo."

"Doing what?" Trunks asked.

"What else? Training of course." Gohan finished.

Kinoko looked at him, "Well let's get this done now so we can train as well."

Gohan set the books on a table as he looked to the ones she had picked out. "Well you can see Kin hasn't changed."

"I'd imagine so." Trunks replied.

They all looked to the T.V when an announcement of the World Martial Arts Tournament, which would be taking place tomorrow, appeared. Mr. Satan was being interviewed as Majin Buu stood beside him with a big smile on his face.

"Man, he's old..." Kinoko muttered.

Trunks chuckled. "Even after admitting he wasn't the one who beat Cell, he still manages to stay famous."

It was true. Mr. Satan had announced four years prior that he was not the one to defeat Cell. Most of the world didn't believe him though, and continued to worship him. When Videl told Gohan and Kinoko the news he told her not to mention any of the Z fighters since they really didn't want the publicity.

"Well at least we still have normal lives." Gohan stated.

Kinoko put down a pencil from writing and chuckled. "As normal as it can be anyways."

All of a sudden, Kin was tackled to the ground. When the Saiyan female opened her eyes, she saw a hole in the wall near the door, and a pink female djinn sitting on top of her.

"CANDY!" Kinoko growled.

Gohan groaned before face palming. "Candy, we have a front door you know?"

She laughed and glanced back to Gohan before looking to Kinoko. The female Saiyan narrowed her eyes at Candy.

"You want a fight, pinky?! I'll give you one!" She suddenly flipped them over and attempted to throw a hook at Candy's face. The djinn giggled before dodging the blow and knocking Kinoko off of her. She left the home laughing loudly as Kinoko jumped to her feet. "Hey! Get back here!"

"Too slow!" Candy teased as she stuck her green tongue out at Kin.

Gohan suddenly began to climb the stairs gaining Trunks' attention.

"Shouldn't someone break them up, Gohan? Those two might end up killing each other."

The half Saiyan chuckled. "Well now we get out of work. I need to get my fighting clothes on."

...

"C'mon Somen! You can do better than that!" Piccolo shouted as he dodged all of Somen's hits.

Somen, the final daughter to Gohan and Kinoko, let out a shout as she attempted to kick Piccolo.

When Somen was two and a half, she instantly connected with the Namekian, seeing him as a role model and respecting him more than anyone, maybe even her parents. Piccolo saw Somen as a miniature version of Gohan, except a way more self-centered version. Piccolo also saw some of himself in the child. Because of her attitude, and how much she followed him and trained with him, he sometimes felt Somen was his very own daughter. She was now a four year old, and very strong for her age. Unfortunately, she wasn't as strong as Piccolo, or the others, just yet. Her grey eyes widened when he grabbed her by her ankle and sent her flying forwards through a mountain. She let out a squeal since she could stop herself from colliding with it.

Already in the sky was Goku and a seventeen year old Goten sparing. Upon hearing the crumble of yet another mountain, Hiru and Niku glanced over to the side.

"Gosh, Mr. Piccolo sure pushes Somen harder than he did us." Hiru noted.

Niku nodded in agreement. "Maybe cause she's his favorite."

Niku and Hiru wore similar gi's. They resembled Goku's turtle school uniform except Niku's was pink, and Hiru's was blue. The twins then looked to the sky when they sensed an incoming figure.

"Hello little ones." Candy greeted.

The twins smiled at seeing her.

"Hey Candy!" Niku greeted eagerly.

"Yeah where are you doing out here?!" Finished Hiru.

The djinn grinned at her twins before letting out a scream and being launched forwards by a kick.

"You're fixing our wall, Candy!" Kinoko shouted.

Niku and Hiru exchanged glances before looking to her.

Hiru smiled, "Hey mom."

She rubbed his head before rushing back at Candy beginning a spar with the Majin female.

Gohan landed to where his youngest daughter was before pulling her out of the rubble.

"Hey little one, how's the training going?"

She growled. "No matter how hard I try I still can't last two minutes in a fight!"

Gohan chuckled before setting her on the ground and fixing the red headband she wore around her head, under her bangs.

"Don't fret about it, Somen. You'll get better."

She glanced up at him before raising a curious eyebrow. "Can I fight you now, Papa? In your super Saiyan form."

Hiru appeared beside his little sister and father. "Somen, you can't even beat Niku or I in a spar," he stated innocently, "and you already want to fight Dad?"

She snorted and crossed her arms. "Tch, he's not that tough." She slipped into a fighting stance before glaring at him. "Let's go!"

Gohan placed his fists on his hips and smiled, "Somen, you still have someone else to worry about."

The young Saiyan child rose an eyebrow before glancing back seeing a energy blast being shot at her. Her eyes widened before she crossed her arms over her chest blocking it. Once it was over, she glared hellfire at her mentor.

"Hey, no fair!"

"Pay better attention next time." Piccolo demanded.

She rubbed her arm with a serious look on her face. "Well it doesn't matter. Tomorrow when I win the tournament I'll beat all those weaklings with one hit."

Piccolo smirked. "Well you do have a good chance; I'll tell you that, kid."

Hiru stepped between Piccolo and Gohan. "Not to burst anyone's bubble, but if anyone is gonna win it'll be me."

In an instant he was tackled to the ground by his twin sister, Niku. "Yeah right. I'm the oldest so therefore I am gonna win."

Gohan pulled them apart smiling at them. "You guys are so competitive with each other, remember the whole point of training is to use your strength when you actually need it."

Niku and Hiru nodded. "Right, we know that daddy." They said simultaneously.

Somen winced. "You know, when you both talk at the same time it's really weird."

Hiru chuckled.

All of a sudden, a yellow plane landed on the area, and an aged Bulma, along with Vegeta emerged from it. The blue haired woman placed her fists on her hips with a scowl on her face.

"Now tell me, what's so important about this?" She opened.

Everyone glanced over at her upon hearing her voice.

Trunks rose an eyebrow. "I didn't know my parents were coming."

Goku, who had just knocked Goten down smiled and waved at his old friend.

"Hey! What a surprise! How are you doing?" He greeted.

Bulma growled before placing her hands on her hips. "Now you wouldn't know that, would you Goku?!" She accused.

The Saiyan blinked. "Huh?"

"You never call and if we didn't come to visit you we'd probably never see you again."

Kinoko and Candy stopped their spar and chuckled at the scene before they floated down.

The twins ran up to Goku side as Somen stayed beside Gohan.

"It hasn't been that long aunt Bulma." Niku began.

"Yeah," Goku agreed. "Didn't we see each other not to long ago?"

Bulma looked at the twins. "Well you two I see all the time." She glared up at Goku. "As for you, it's been five years, Goku! Every time we get together with everyone you say you have to train!"

"But it's true!" Goku cried. He then put on a small smile once he noticed the few wrinkles on Bulma's face. "Wow, it really has been a long time."

The blue haired woman thought about what he said for a moment. "What do you mean? What? Say it?"

Hiru smiled innocently, "it means your growing up aunt Bulma."

Goku smiled at his grandson and nodded. "Exactly."

Bulma growled and got in both of their faces making them lean back.

"SHUT YOUR RUDE MOUTH! ILL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT MOST PEOPLE THINK I LOOK GOOD FOR MY AGE! Excuse me for not being an freak, alien that never changes!" She yelled.

Vegeta, who was standing beside Bulma, finally spoke up. "We Saiyans evolved as a warrior race; we retain our youthfulness so we can fight longer." He explained.

Bulma crossed her arms before shutting her eyes and sticking her nose up in the air. "Hmph! I guess your race didn't evolve with enough brains to have good manners!"

Piccolo growled and turned his back to everyone. Gohan, Somen, Kin and Candy looked back to him.

"Leaving already, Piccolo?" Gohan asked.

The Namekian nodded. "Yeah, this just got boring."

Somen waved. "Bye Mr. Piccolo!"

He took off in the air without saying a word.

Kinoko rose an eyebrow as she listened in to Goku and Vegeta's conversation. She then nudged Gohan in the stomach making him look to her.

"Did you hear that?" She asked.

Gohan shook his head. "Hear what?"

"Well it seems your father thinks someone very strong is entering the tournament tomorrow. He's shrewd, but 100 percent earthling."

Gohan rose an eyebrow. "You'd think we'd be able to sense an energy like that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

Kinoko rolled her eyes. "Damn it, I hate waiting."

Gohan smirked before placing his hands on her waist turning her around. "Well let's get training."

She narrowed her eyes and got serious as the entire Son family prepared for the next day.

...

The next day, the Z gang gathered together on the island the tournament would be taking place.

Goku and his family came walking in. Kinoko and Gohan looked around the area and at all the people and stands there. Niku and Hiru ran in front of the group excited to finally be competing in a tournament. Their fighting clothes today consisted of a orange gi, and a long sleeved blue shirt under. It was the exact same one Goten wore as a child. Somen walked beside Goku, with a very serious look on her face. It was a rare occasion when she would smile. She was dressed in an orange long sleeved shirt, blue gi pants and brown boots. She also had on her red headband.

She let out a loud breath after a moment gaining her older sisters attention.

"Gosh are you bored already?" Niku asked.

"I'm just here to win." Somen answered.

Hiru smiled at his sisters. "Hey I know! Let's go have fun."

Somen smiled widely, "yeah! Let's go break things!"

The twins exchanged glances as they thought of her destructive nature. The twins were both naive and sweet while Somen, although she was younger, was the complete opposite.

"I meant have fun as in playing games and maybe getting something to eat." Hiru said.

Upon hearing the word 'eat' Goku looked down at his grandchildren.

"Hey that's a great idea! Let's go you guys!" The twins smiled and nodded. Goku glanced back at his oldest son. "How are we doing on time Gohan?"

The half Saiyan checked his watch before looking to his father. "There's still a little while to kill time."

Goku smiled. "Alright! Let's go!"

The twins tail-fived before running off and Goku following behind them.

"Wait? Where are you going?" Kin asked.

"Well be back in a little bit mom!" Hiru yelled.

As he was running Goku glanced back at Somen who was still walking with ChiChi, Ox King, Kinoko and Gohan. In an instant he ran back, picked her up quickly before placing her over his shoulders and running after the twins.

Somen glared down at her grandfather. "You know I can walk, grandpa G."

He chuckled. "I know, Somen. But you never really let me carry you. Not even as a baby, you'd always bite me."

She crossed her arms with a pout on her face as Goku smiled at her. Goku, Somen and the twins ran around the crowds of people as they looked for things to do. They stopped at a stand with many toys on them. Goku grabbed a hippo puppet and began making growling sounds which made Niku laugh. Hiru picked up an elephant head and chuckled. He pulled the trigger which made it's trunk roll out which caused him laugh.

Next, the group of four walked towards a strength test machine. Goku and the twins watched as Somen prepared to hit the machine. She rubbed her hands together before picking up the mallet and hitting the pressure mechanism. Once she did, the mallet shattered to pieces and the bell went flying off the machine. Somen rose her fist in the air and smirked proudly.

"Now that was fun."

She turned around and smiled at her siblings and grandfather until she was handed a gigantic bear as her prize.

"Well isn't that a great prize." Goku said as he placed a hand on her head.

Both the twins and Somen rose an eyebrow. Niku and Hiru may have been the happy siblings, but they wouldn't be too happy about a teddy bear.

"You like my bear, grandpa G?"

He nodded. "Yeah he seems very nice to me."

They all stared at Goku with confusion until two identical stomach growls were heard. Niku and Hiru gasped as Goku chuckled.

"I know! Let's get some hot dogs! Nothing beats those."

The twins and Somen all nodded before they ran off after Goku.

They reached a table, and each got a tray with one hot dog, a few fries, and a soda. They all began to eat quickly. Once finished, they realized they were still hungry. Goku smiled once he thought of something else they could get to eat.

They walked to an ice cream stand and Goku began to order a cone for the twins and Somen. Once he was handed a chocolate ice cream cone, he handed it to Somen.

"Since your the littlest you get it first."

She took it from him and thanked him with a small smile. As Niku and Hiru began to pick out their flavors, Somen's grey eyes landed on a tent where there were three circus dogs doing tricks.

"Neat..." She admitted in a mumble.

She walked forwards but didn't see when a boy, about fifteen years old, tripped over her. Somen gasped and fell as well dropping her ice cream cone in the process. The boy quickly stood up and glared at her.

"What's the big deal you little runt?! You blind or what?!" He shouted. Somen growled. She glared up at the boy who was now sticking up the middle finger at her. "Hey bonehead! You know sign language!"

She inhaled a deep breath and grabbed what remained of her smushed ice cream cone and turned to face him.

Hiru and Niku, who had both gotten a vanilla cone, paled when they saw Somen.

"Uhh... Grandpa..." Niku began. "I think you should see this."

Goku has just gotten an ice cream cone for himself.

"What's up, Nik'?" He asked. Hiru pointed forwards and Goku followed his finger. His eyes widened and his face became blue once he saw Somen's glare. It was worse than Gohan's when he killed the evil Majin Buu.

Before anyone could move, Somen let out a groan of impatience and threw her ice cream cone at the boys face making him fly back a few feet.

"Who's the little runt now, weakling!" She shouted.

Goku quickly ran over and picked her up over his shoulder as Somen returned the finger the boy gave her. The twins followed after Goku and he chuckled softly.

"Maybe it's time we found the others."

The blacked haired 4 year old grunted. "Weaklings..."

...

Goku and all his grandchildren finally reached the tournament entrance, where all the Z fighters were. Most of them had aged a lot.

"Hey guys, you look great, how've you been!" Goku greeted.

Krillin stepped forwards and rubbed the back of his head, "actually were a little mad, how come you never call or come by? We're your friends. Training is fine but can't you keep in touch?"

Goku laughed and rubbed the back of his head, "geez I'm sorry guys. I already got yelled at by Bulma yesterday. You guys do have phones don't you?"

From the back of the group, a green Namekian spoke up. "Actually I can't figure out how to work mine." Piccolo admitted.

"I hear you," Goku began. "Hey are you gonna enter, Piccolo?" He asked.

The Namek smirked. "And get in the ring with the likes of you, no thanks. I'm too old for this, id much rather kick back and watch the show."

Gohan looked to Piccolo with a smile, "you don't look a day older then you did ten years ago."

"YEAH BUT HE FIGHTS LIKE A TEN YEAR OLD!" Somen shouted. She let go of Gohan's hand before attempting to attack him. Piccolo rolled his eyes before catching the girl right in the air. He held her upside down by her ankle and began to give her advice on how to win her matches.

"Listen to me kid, I taught you everything you know, not everything I know. Now you'd better get in there and give it your all." He glanced at the twins. "This goes for you guys too, don't hold back, especially not against each other."

"Yes, Mr. Piccolo." They said simultaneously.

Gohan smiled; he was glad his children's training had a lot to do with Piccolo. And from the looks of it, Somen reminded him of how Piccolo used to speak to him.

Niku grasped onto Gohan's gi pants gaining his attention.

"Daddy, were gonna be late."

Said Saiyan smiled. "You're right. Dad, we'd better get going."

Goku nodded and placed a hand in the air. "Bye you guys, we'll see you in a little while."

All the Saiyans who would be competing in the tournament made their way to the entrance.

After getting registered, the fighters made it to the warm up pavilion. Kinoko crossed her arms upon arrival and glanced from side to side.

"You know, all these 'fighters' look like the ones we saw ten years ago."

Gohan placed his hands on her shoulders. "Man, I can't believe it's been ten years."

Trunks and Goten glanced down at the twins.

"Last time we were here you guys managed to wander all around the arena."

Niku rose an eyebrow. "Is that so? I don't remember."

"Me neither." Responded Hiru.

"Well you guys were still babies." Goten commented.

Niku and Hiru glanced at each other before slipping into a fighting stance and sparring on the ground.

"Hey, why don't we go give Mr. Satan a little visit?" Goku suggested.

Kinoko blinked. "Because he's really annoying."

Goten and Gohan chuckled at her comment.

"Oh he's not that bad." Gohan said.

"Yeah, he's worse." Kinoko finished.

She pulled the twins away from each other making them squirm in the air before glaring at her.

"Hey, we were doing good!" They complained.

Kinoko smirked, "You've been practicing since you've been in diapers, you have just a good a chance as all of us."

They smiled, hopeful smiles, "you really think so mommy?" Hiru said.

Kin winked at her son before setting them on the ground.

The whole Saiyan gang went up to Hercule's rest room. Goku knocked on the door, and they waited a while, only to see an aged Hercule open the door.

"Hi," Goku greeted with a cheerful tone of voice.

Hercule returned the smile. "Goku, it's you. How you doing?" He glanced down upon seeing the twins. "Why if it isn't my little twins. I can still remember the day you two turned into giant monkeys and tried to kill me."

The twins giggled while rubbing the backs of their neck.

"Good times." Kinoko muttered. She looked to his head once she noticed he had lost a lot of hair. "It really has been a long time."

As Hercule was going to answer her comment, his eyes landed on Somen. He picked her up off the ground causing her to glare at him.

"Put me down..." She demanded.

Hercule smiled at her. "Well if it isn't the cutest little girl in the world."

Somen furrowed her brows. "Are you still allowed to fight? You look a little old."

Hercule set her on the ground. "Well you're looking a little young. Did you come here to support uncle Hercule to watch him win the tournament?"

She smirked. "Nope, I came here to win."

Hercule blinked curiously. "What? Little Somen. You're entering the tournament?!" He looked passed her seeing all the Saiyan's around. Vegeta, Goten, Trunks and Gohan were there. "You're all entering?!" He asked, shocked.

Niku nodded. "Yup."

Goku heard a noise and glanced into Hercule's room seeing Buu waving at him.

"Hey Buu."

The fat djinn grinned. Bee as well was in there, but he wasn't the puppy he used to be. Kinoko's eyes widened and she glanced at Gohan.

"Wow. That dog is huge."

He smiled, "I guess we're all growing up huh?"

They looked back once Hercule fell to the ground. Kinoko rolled her eyes.

"Relax chump." She began.

Goku chuckled. "Yeah if any of us make it to the finals, we'll let you win."

Hercule gasped. "You'd really do that?!"

Goku shrugged. "Of course we would, why not? It's not like we want all those reporters following us everyday. Well all of us except, Somen."

Said girl grinned before grabbing her fathers hand and pulling him towards the exit of the building out to the arena.

"Okay let's go, papa."

Gohan waved back to Hercule, Buu and Bee. "See you guys at the finals!"

...

As time passed, the gang passed the preliminaries and continued on to the finals. All the fighters began to exit out to the ring where the entire crowd cheered loudly like always.

As they walked, Trunks glanced at Goten before smirking. "Hey Goten, remember who was it that won last time we were here?"

Goten returned the smirk, "that was last time."

The twins walked beside Majin Buu and gasped when a whole bunch of women in the crowd began to cheer and squeal eagerly.

"Whoa, check out Buu." Niku began.

"Yeah those ladies seem to really like to him." Hiru added.

Behind them, came in Gohan who's hand was being held tight by Somen. Kinoko glanced down at her youngest daughter before smirking.

"You're not scared are you?"

Somen looked up to her mother with a serious look on her face. "N-no... I just don't... Want to embarrass anyone too hard when I win."

Kinoko lifted her off the ground before kissing her cheek making the young girl growl.

"Hey! Cut it out there are people here!" She complained.

Kinoko chuckled. "I thought you liked kisses."

Gohan smiled at his wife and youngest daughter. "Maybe she only likes it when I give her kisses."

He grabbed her and began to kiss her all over her face much to her dismay.

...

They all made it to the ring to see that the same announcer from each tournament, Mr. Alonsa, was still there. As usual, he grabbed the microphone as the crowd continued to cheer.

"And now it's time for the fighters to draw lots to see how they'll be matched up in this exciting first round!" He announced.

Kinoko looked around the area while raising an eyebrow. The only other fighters were a big man with his hair in a braid, a very skinny native boy, and a man with shoulder length brown hair.

"Everyone here doesn't look like a challenge. Who do you think your dad was talking about?"

Goku overheard her comment and glanced back at her with a smile.

"Don't worry Kinoko, he's here."

Gohan shrugged and wrapped his arm around her waist. She glanced over at him. "Is everything okay?"

He met her glance and smiled. "Yeah... I just don't want history to repeat itself."

She playfully glared at him. "That was ten years ago."

"I know, but still."

She placed her hand on his arm. "Everything will be fine. If anything happens then we're ready."

He covered her lips with his. "You're right."

Gohan kissed her forehead again before looking to his father. "C'mon dad, tell us who it is."

Goku shook his head with a smile on his face. "Nope, not telling."

Mr. Alonsa walked up to the center of the ring and announced the rules for the first round of the finals. Each contestant had to draw lots in order to determine their opponent. As this began, Somen looked beside her at a native boy who appeared to be shaking in fear violently.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked in her natural serious tone.

The boy looked at her shocked making her raise an eyebrow. Hiru and Niku exchanged glances before looking at him. He gasped from the three pairs of grey eyes staring at him which made him shake and tremble even more.

Somen jumped up and looked at his body. He was very thin, and he looked even more scared when she stared at him.

"Can you talk?" She asked. The native boy only trembled even more. Somen smiled. "Well you must not be that weak if you can make it to the finals."

He glanced from side to side his teeth still shattering in fear.

After everyone had been called to get their opponents, the matches were set up like this:

1) Somen vs Wild Tiger

2) Hiru vs Niku

3) Goku vs Uub

4) Gohan vs Kinoko

5) Candy vs Goten

6) Trunks vs Majin Buu

7) Vegeta vs Nok

Kinoko smirked at her mate. "Well don't you just love the luck of the draw?"

Gohan's eyes widened. "I can't fight against my wife in public."

Kinoko smiled, "well after I beat you we can watch Goten get the 'you know what' beat out of him by Candy."

The female djinn chuckled as Goten groaned. Trunks sighed.

"At least you're fighting Candy! I have to get beat up by Majin Buu."

All of a sudden, they heard loud footsteps towards them. "What are you bozos belly-aching about? I have to fight a little bitty kid." He squat down near Somen who simply stared at him. "The mighty Wild Tiger doing battle with a toddler? This is stupid! They shouldn't even have let you enter. This isn't a tournament for girly dumb babies."

Gohan moved behind Somen and glared at Wild Tiger. "I suggest you lay off the insults on my daughter."

Niku as well glared at the big man. "Yeah, you said this isn't for girly babies then why are you here?"

He growled under his breath before stomping away. Gohan picked Somen up and smiled at her.

"You beat him good, little one." She crossed her arms and Gohan looked down to his twins. "And you two. Do you best, alright?"

Hiru smiled. "I won't need my best to beat Niku, dad."

Niku narrowed her eyes at him. "I guess we'll see."

Kinoko placed her hands on both of their heads. "You guys will do great. I know so."

Everyone suddenly looked back when Vegeta's opponent, Nok, was sent flying to collide with the wall.

"Tell the officials my opponent has decided to forfeit." Vegeta stated and turned his back to everyone.

Goku chuckled nervously. "Take it easy, Vegeta."

The Saiyan Prince grunted in response.

...

The gang was now in the waiting area, waiting for Somen to be called out to the match. Once her name was announced, Kinoko smiled at her.

"Alright Somen, give it your best." She started.

"Yeah, you'll do great, little one. Good luck." Gohan finished.

Somen nodded and walked out towards the ring with Wild Tiger next to her. She moved her glance to the crowd where she saw both ChiChi and Bulma waving and cheering for her. She smiled lightly and then glanced to Piccolo who gave her a nod. She nodded back and a determined look fell upon her face.

"For the first match, Wild Tiger will be facing Somen, talented young girl at the tender age of four, don't be surprised everyone! She's been approved for this tournament by the reigning champ of the world, Mr. Satan!"

The crowd began to cheer as the adorable, toddler walked out towards the ring. She kept her hands in her pockets as she walked up the steps.

"Prepare to lose!" Wild Tiger declared.

Somen blinked. "Please, don't talk."

"Somen, take it easy on him okay!" Goku yelled.

From his seat, Hercule smiled, "go Somen!"

Everyone cheered the little girl on as she made it to the center of the ring.

"FIGHTERS LET THE MATCH BEGIN!" Mr. Alonsa announced.

The gong was hit and Somen got in a stance. Hiru and Niku ran forwards eager to see their little sister.

"Alright Somen! Show him who's boss!" Hiru yelled.

The young girl nodded before jumping in the air. Wild Tiger smirked but his smirk disappeared upon the feeling of a small foot connecting with his face. His eyes widened before he fell back out of the ring. Somen landed back down and smirked before bowing her head down.

"That's my girl!" ChiChi shouted from her seat.

Somen glanced at Mr. Alonsa before passing him. "I think he might need a bandage." She stated and walked back to her family.

"Somen you little rascal, what a great performance, wow." Goku complimented.

She smiled. "I learn from the best."

Niku and Hiru glanced at each other with a smile.

"Here we go." She stated.

Gohan kneeled down and hugged them both to his chest. "No matter which one of you wins, you'll always be great fighters, alright."

They hugged him back before pulling away and waking out towards the ring.

"For our next match, we will be seeing two twins at the age of ten face off against each other!"

They smirked at each other as they made it to the ring.

"Do your best guys!" Goku shouted.

Kinoko and Gohan smiled. Kin leaned against the wall with Gohan behind her.

"They'll do great dad."

"Yup, I wonder who will win."

Hiru and Niku stood across from each other, both in identical stances and neither budging an inch. They've been waiting to test their skills in the ring for some time now, and they weren't going to disappoint their spectators.

"Hey Niku! Just don't cry when you lose!" Hiru taunted, getting into a stance his grandfather taught him.

Niku's eyebrow twitched, but she never lost her smirk and assumed a stance similar to Vegeta's. "Funny. I was about to say the same thing."

"Fighters, get ready! GO!" A gong resounded and the twins launched at each other.

Forearms locked with one another, Niku and Hiru gritted their teeth as they tried to overpower the other. Though Hiru was bigger than his older twin, Niku wasn't giving him an inch.

They jumped back then launched themselves in a rapid battle of punches. Since they weren't allowed to go Super Saiyan, they were just going to go as high as they were permitted in their base forms.

The audience was rather speechless. None of them had expected these two little kids to put up a fight like this. But they weren't complaining.

"Keep it up guys!" Goku yelled, extremely proud of his two oldest grandchildren.

Niku kicked Hiru in the gut, causing him to double over then punched him in the cheek, sending him to his side of the arena. Hiru skidded, but managed to stop himself before he went over the edge.

The brown haired boy rubbed his cheek and glared at his sister, whom was smirking triumphantly. So she wanted to play, huh? He was definitely fine with that.

Niku narrowed her eyes. 'Now what's he planning?' Grey eyes widened when she felt ki gather into his fist and braced herself when her brother rushed at her.

Hiru sent a small ki blast at her, which she countered with her own, but was too late to track her brother when he disappeared in an after image in front of her. Niku then felt an elbow hit her neck, then a pair of hands grab her tail, hard.

Niku, though she had trained her tail a bit, wasn't completely immune to the weakness yet, and was helpless when Hiru threw her out of the ring.

She blinked finding it hard to believe she had actually lost. She groaned and face palmed in both shame and embarrassment. She then glanced up when an arm extended to her.

"Don't worry, Niku. Remember what dad said."

She sighed. "I guess. But I can't believe I lost."

He pulled her up making Gohan, Goku and Kinoko smile.

"There's always next year."

They walked back to the waiting area as the tournament raged on.

...

As Goku fought his opponent, Uub was proving to be a good fighter. His energy and power resembled someone but Gohan or Kin couldn't recognize who.

The thing that shocked everyone most was the fact that Goku had insulted Uub at the beginning of the match. Nobody understood why until Uub's rage came out and he his energy began to rise. It was then that everyone could say, Uub was a great opponent.

Goku was about to fire his Kamehameha at Uub when he noticed the area he was standing on was about to collapse. Before Uub could touch the ground though, Goku grabbed him by his arm. Uub looked at him with shock as he set him back down on the ring.

"I apologize for insulting you earlier, I just wanted to see your true power. You're strong, real strong however don't quite know how to control your power yet, i'll bet you never fought a fight like this."

"No, not really." Uub answered.

"Oh I see," Goku began. He rubbed his head. "What if I train you?! I can go with you to your village!"

Uub smiled, "oh yes of course. But, I come from a poor family."

"Don't worry I'll get you a sponsor; Mr. Satan he has more money then he does body hair. So don't worry you're covered. Besides, with my Instant Transmission, I can pop in and out of your village at anytime, that way neither of us will have to leave our families? But as of now, I think you should move onto the next round."

Goku stepped off the ring shocking much of the fighters.

Gohan gasped and looked at Goku wide eyed once he approached him. "Dad! What you do that for?"

Goku smiled, "he deserved it more than I did."

Kinoko narrowed her eyes. "You do realize he will have to face Somen in the next round."

Goku shrugged lightly. "Hey, they both could use a battle like that."

Gohan and Kinoko both looked back to the ring when all of a sudden their names were called. Kinoko smirked and looked at Gohan.

"That's us."

He smiled as they began to walk out. "Don't think I'll go easy on you just because you're cute."

"Same goes to you." Kinoko replied.

They made it to the ring and stood across from each other. The world suddenly blocked out for the two of them. The cheering from their friends, family and even their twins blocked out when they looked in each others eyes.

Kin narrowed her grey eyes as Gohan smirked a bit. They heard the gong get hit, and they rushed at each other quickly. The cheering from the crowd became louder as Gohan and Kin fazed in and out of sight battling on to victory.

Gohan crossed his arms over his chest as he blocked all of Kinoko's hits. She smirked at him before sending an elbow to his face knocking him down. The half Saiyan landed on his bottom and he glanced up at his mate. She had landed on the opposite side of the ring.

"What do you say we kick this up a notch?"

Gohan stood up, "sounds like a good idea, Kin." His hair flashed blond and his eyes real as he smirked at his mate.

She transformed into a Super Saiyan before smirking and crouching down. "I don't think so..."

He watched as she charged at him. He smiled as he thought of how much she had changed his life. 'I love her so much.'

Kin reached Gohan. They were inches away from each other as they looked in each others equally teal eyes.

"Prepare to lose, sweetheart." He began.

Kin smiled at her mate. "Bring it on."

The End!

Well everyone, it's been a great journey but all things come to an end. Remember, you can always go back to chapter one and re-read it! So as for Kinoko there are a few other stories in the making for this series. We plan to make an A/U story. (Kinoko lands on Namek when she's five so she'll be around for the Android Saga and Cell games.) A Battle of Gods One-Shot. A sort of "prequel" (The twins go on an adventure in space.) A story about the Mirai timeline about what exactly happened then, (mainly stars the twins) And a GT crossover by Kitsunelover300 (The twins, and possibly Candy, meet the canon GT gang.)

Well on behalf of Kitsunelover300 & I, Thanks for reading, Trials of a Saiyan!
