I pace the living room, coming up with a plan. Punk is sitting on the couch everything becoming too much for him. He watches me as I growl orders into the phone, calling my parents I am unable to get a hold of them so I send a friend to their house. I try to access our security system in Chicago with zero results, either the system's power has been cut or the whole system had been deactivated. Punk watches as I handle the arrangements a private plan, back up in Chicago and the security team watching the house. Dean is going to find that tonight is the end of his life and he is not getting anywhere near Punk. I refuse to use my husband to draw out this psycho so I'm going to go get our son back, handle what needs to be handled, and Punk will stay right the fuck here even if I have to sedate him. Punk pushes my hand away from the computer where I am pounding on the keyboard trying my hardest to get the camera's inside out house to turn themselves on. He goes to a different website and I watch as in a moment the image of our home fills the screen. "How'd you do that?" He sighs and rubs the back of his neck slowly.

"I have a backup security system, it's never been active, just something Colt's people put into place. During the whole Paul thing, they thought it would be best if I had extra security." I nod and study the cameras finally clicking on one, my son is in his crib quietly sleeping and I breathe a sigh as his chest rises and falls. Dean is dead man nothing is going to prevent that. Punk lets out a small sigh and I turn to him.

"You are not going to Chicago." Punk flops back down on to the couch and I watch him carefully. "I promise Dean will never hurt you again and that I will bring our son home to us." I wait for an argument but see Punk give a small nod. "John is coming with me, Colt and Bryan will stay here with you." Punk stands and walks into the kitchen returning with a bottle of water and I feel him studying me.

"Dean will try to kill you, he will hurt our child if I stay here. He is not stupid Randy he knows where we are and probably has help. He is watching us and if I don't leave here with you then he'll know." I nod I am well aware of this, that's why I've put a plan in place.

"You'll be coming to the airport you just won't be getting on the plane. This is not really about you Punk. It's about Paul and whatever Dean's connection is to the man he wants revenge. I killed Paul that night so he is targeting the wrong person and I am going to give him what he wants. He wants Paul's killer he is going to have it." My phone rings and I answer quickly, my mother on the other end of the line. She explains Dean broke in, tied them up and took off with the baby yesterday morning. Everyone else is alright, my daughter is fine just scared. I tell them to go with the security team and they'll be taken someplace safe. When I hang up I inform Punk everyone is fine and he breaths a heavy sigh.

"You can't keep me here Randy, we are partners I have to go. To not only protect our son but you also. Please don't try and stop me." I take his hand and squeeze it gently I am not going to argue with him, he just won't have a choice when we get to the airport.

We all pile into the car and head to the nearby airstrip. Punk is staring out the window, I can almost see defeat in his eyes and it worries me. "I love you Punkers." His head turns to me and he bites at his lip.

"Why, because I bring psychos into your life, I put our family at risk. I am an emotional wreck, an addict, and can't be happy ever? Why do you bother to love me? What is so appealing about me?" I take a deep breath and force myself not to shake my husband.

"I love you because you are you. I need you to focus Punk, if I decide to be stupid enough to let you go with me then I need someone who is willing to fight, get pissed, and protect what belongs to him. Not someone who is going into this willing to give up, willing to let Dean win. With everything we have been through I know that you know how to fight back, to defend, and to protect so stop feeling sorry for yourself and focus damn it." Punk wrinkles his nose and turns back to the window.

"You don't get to decide I am going to Chicago whether you like it or not. Excuse me for being scared I'll try to be a heartless snake like you." Well at least I got a little bit of a spark from him. He's not coming not like this, I cannot have him distract me from the safety of our son. Punk's wheels are turning when we arrive at the small airport, we all head to the plane waiting for us. I can almost feel something click in Punk's brain as he stops walking.

"I'm not going" well finally we agree on something so I turn and face him.

"Why is that?" I want to know where this sudden epiphany came from.

"He is not is Chicago, he's here. Our son was the only one in the video's, Dean was nowhere in that house. Tristan does nothing for him now, he's here. He knows you wouldn't let me go. He's not stupid Randy, he's not in the house every single inch of it is on video and he is not there. He expects you to get on that plane and leave me behind, he's on the island waiting for me to return without you. It's not about our child, he wants to separate us so he can get what he wants." Okay so he is rambling and perhaps a little out of his mind but he is making some sense. I pull him towards the plane and he goes to struggle.

"Trust me" I snap and he relaxes and follows everyone onto the plane. I yank out my phone and call the head of security that is surrounding our house discreetly. "Send someone inside, I think he may have left my son there alone." I snap this quickly and a few minutes get the affirmative. I take a seat the weight lifted off my shoulders. 'They have Tristian he's fine." Punk's knees give out and I pull him to me before he collapses again.

"So we should just leave and head to get him, no walking into Dean's trap right?" Colt looks between the two of us hopeful and it takes a brief few seconds before the hope dies and I see him put on his angry face. "Okay not going the logical route so let's go get Dean."

"How?" Punk looks over to Bryan and I can see his wheels turning again.

"I'm going back to the house with Colt, it's going to be simple really. Dean's been watching us, I'll fake a panic attack Colt will "sedate" me and when Dean goes to strike he'll find out that he is not as smart as he thinks he is." I shake my head that is so not going to be the plan.

"You are not going to be the bait, forget that plan. I have one much better than that it does not put you in harm's way and every one of us get to walk out safe and sound." At Punk's skeptical look I sigh it's not going to be easy but I'll do my best to convince him.

Twenty minutes later I watch as the two figures get off the plane and walk to the vehicle, Colt and the smaller figure clad in baggy jeans and a hoodie get into the car and drive away. I turn and look to Punk who's is pulling at the t-shirt. "Chris likes his clothes too tight" he mutters and I force a smile listening as the plane engines start, we are not going anywhere but it needs to look like we are. I honestly don't think Dean is watching us, more than likely following the car but just in case it needs to look like this plane is taking off. "If Dean doesn't believe that is me then this is going to backfire in our face." I want to growl he has pointed this out repeatedly for the last twenty minutes. I understand that but I am done playing Dean's game, it's time to play my own. I am the viper after all, a predator and for far too long I've contained my venom. Tonight I will stalk my prey and strike when he least expects it, Dean should have learned long ago you don't anger a snake. It's apparently a lesson I will teach him tonight.

I slide silently through the woods surrounding our home, looking for the man who for far too long controlled our life. I know he will be here watching "Punk" waiting for the moment when he strikes. I watch every movement, every shadow moving slowly so not to make the man aware of my movement. If I don't find him here he will have a surprise when he enters the house. I see Colt open the sliding glass door a phone to his ear, he is speaking just loud enough so I can catch his words. "Randy he is so pissed at you for making him get off the plane, then on top of that having a panic attack about Tristan I had to sedate him man, he's resting in the bedroom." I smirk as I see the shadow ahead of me move, sliding along the woods towards where Colt is. I follow until I see the figure set to spring.

"Colt down" I shout as I run forward, for a big guy Colt moves quickly and hits the ground. As soon as he does I wrap my arms around the person on front of me and we both hit the dirt a few feet from our deck. The man struggles beneath me but in a moment Colt is beside me helping me contain the struggling man. We flip him over and I see Colt tense looking around slowly. "Where the hell is Dean?" I snap into the guys face, I wait for an answer for only a moment before I bring my fist down into his jaw hard. "Where the hell is he?" A slow smile stretches across the bloody mouth.

"Getting what he wants" the man below me is just disgusting and I swear I handle him once but apparently not enough.

"I really hope you enjoyed your life Axel because it's about to end if you don't stop being so fucking vague." I lace my hand around his neck and squeeze hoping to get my point across.

"He's going to collect Punk. He is going after the prize he wants, like we fell for this trick." I widen my eyes for a second and then begin to chuckle.

"He wasn't supposed to, but we knew whoever was working with him would. He won't get anywhere near Punk, he'll be chasing shadows Axel. Punk is far, far away by now and Ambrose is chasing his tail on this island. Want to know why I feel I can tell you that, because this is the last night you are spending alive." I nod at Colt who holds up a syringe within a moment the man underneath me starts to panic

"Wait he has a rental house, other side of the island. I'll take you there, if he can't find Punk then he'll go back there."

"What's the address?" He rattles it off and then Colt gives him the injection, it's just a sedative until I figure out exactly what I am going to do with this idiot. Axel acts like we just gave him a lethal injection and I can't help but feel satisfied at the fear in the man's eyes. Standing I look up to the sky, somewhere up there is Punk, John, and Bryan heading to a safe place. Dean won't find him tonight, but I will find Dean. Nothing is going to stop me.

Thank you for reading, please review. Thank you to all those who reviewed the last chapter! The next chapter should be a lot longer, and is in Punk's POV. Dean has a starring role, I hope to have that up by the end of the week!
