Chapter 2 new people

I am so sorry I have been nothing but crazy busy. I am now in university and working all the time and of course my bf takes up a little bit of my time. I am now updating so here it is.

Class finally ended. It only took forever. I`m excited to have dinner with Derek's family. I meet Derek at the door after I go to my locker to drop off my stuff and he drives me home. I run upstairs to change. Thankfully my parents aren't home to ask questions and Julliano is with his Girlfriend or at work. I hear a honk. I know it's Derek and I run out the door closing it behind me.

"Hi" I say as I step into the car.

"Hi, you look beautiful" He says looking at my blue shirt and black yoga (pics all on facebook page Everythingdance3)

He drives up to a two story house. I start getting nervous. We both step out of the car. We walk up to the door he holds it open as we walk in. I see a smaller boy run up to us he has black hair.

"The girls are taking control we are going to have a romantic movie after diner. You gotta do something der." the boy says.

"Edwin this is Camille, Camille Edwin" he says as he takes my leather jacket to hang it up next to his.

"It's a pleasure." I say quietly.

We walk in towards the table. There was already food on it and everyone was yelling. They all seemed to have so much character. No one was ever really home at my place.

"Hey everyone this is the new girl I was talking about Camille," Derek just yelled out over top of everyone.

"Hi" I shyly wave. As everyone stops talking and looks at me.

"Camille this is Nora, George, Marty, Casey, Liz and you know Edwin" he said pointing to all the respectable members of the family.

Derek takes my hand and leads me to the table and pulls out my chair and pushes me in after I sit down. I look up and everyone is gaping at me.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Lovely to meet the girl who has changed Derek in one day." Nora says. "We are just trying to decide on a movie. I think as the guest you should decide."

I look frantically at Derek not wanted to make a bad impression. I don't actually know any English movies. Derek smiles encouraging me to answer. I say a commercial for one recently.

"We could watch Paul Blart mall cop the first and second one" I say hoping they know what I'm talking about.

"Sounds like a great movie" George says while smiling at me.

Diner goes without a hitch and Nora stands to clear the table. I stand up.

"No no you shouldn't have to clean after cooking this wonderful meal ill clean it up." I insist

"I'll help" Derek says helping me start picking up all the dishes

I start washing the dishes.

"Paul Blart isn't a chick flick is it?" Derek asks

"From what I gather it's a comedy but I didn't really understand the ad as it was in English." I say honestly

"Oh yeah I completely forgot you don't understand all of our English terms yet." He says

"Yeah"

He grabs the dish towel rolls it up and quickly swats my bum with it.

"Hey!" I squeal trying to move out of the way while laughing.

I splash him back.

"Now we are even" Derek says while laughing.

The rest of the dishes get finished very fast, they are soon dried and put away. We both walk into the dining room, to see everyone already sitting on the couch and lazy boy. Edwin is in the lazy boy Derek quickly makes him move. He offers me the seat. I take in the he sits at my feet. The movie starts and I play with his hair all throughout the movie. Everyone is laughing and loving the movie from what I can tell. I will be honest I don't understand everything that is going on but it is still a good movie while I think so.
