Students you don't Forget
Usagi had never ceased to amaze Haruna. She was one of the least focused students she'd ever had. She rarely did her homework (if she remembered to take it with her), and passing a test was even more unlikely for her. She was always late. And yet, somehow, she always managed to get through the year.
It was even more surprising to find she'd gotten into a fairly good senior high school. It wasn't the best, like Mugen School, but it was the sort of school you could go to and have good prospects for the future. Haruna knew; she'd been there herself. And she knew that failing, or even barely passing, the entrance exam wouldn't get one there.
She remembered some of Usagi's friends: Mizuno Aki, another person who'd surprised the school with her choice. And Kino Makoto, who was a little rough at times but always had her heart in the right place.
Even Usagi had her heart in the right place, the way she tried to put a smile on everyone's face.
They were all students Haruna would remember for a while yet. But she still found herself remembering Usagi a little more than the others.
