(A/N: Okay guys, please don't hate me, but I'm going to end this. I'm busier than I thought I would be this summer, and I really only have time to work on one story, so I chose to stick with Only the Voices in my Head. Summers are just crazy in my family, and I don't want to do what I did last year with my stories. If any of you read One of Us while I was writing it, you'd remember I went an entire month without updating at all. I don't want that to happen this year, so I'm easing up on my writing. I'm so sorry about this.)
Here's an ending for you:
Nightcloud rushed onto the stage about twenty minutes before a show was about to start. "He proposed! He proposed! He proposed!" she cried, nearly crashing into Leafpool.
"Who proposed?" the tabby-and-white she-cat asked, setting her whiteboard on its stand.
"Scourge!"
Tansy, who had been setting up her camera, choked on her coffee. "Scourge asked you to marry him?"
The host nodded excitedly, extending on of her front paws to show off an expensive-looking diamond bracelet. "Yes! We were eating at Mapleshade's Italian Garden of Love last night, just enjoying a basket of breaksticks, and he put this lovely 20 carat diamond bracelet in my iced tea! He said I'm the only she-cat he's ever loved and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me!"
Leafpool shook her head in disbelief. "Out of all the toms we've had on this show, I always thought you'd end up with Berrynose."
"That's what I thought," Nightcloud agreed. "Especially since Blackstar had to go off and get married to Russetfur. Sadly, Berry-boy and Poppyfrost decided they want to work out their issues and are going to couples' counseling."
"Then how are we going to do the show?" Tansy asked, raising an eye.
The black she-cat shrugged. "I don't care. I quit! I've got to go look at wedding dresses!" The host then ran off of the stage and out of the auditorium, leaving the director confused and out-of-the-job.
Leafpool took her whiteboard down. "I guess that's the end of this show, then. At least you've got jobs directing other shows."
"I know," the camera-cat sighed, "but I did enjoy this one."
Brokenstar padded out from backstage. "This show can't end! I only have four hundred hours of community service complete!"
"Sorry," Tansy meowed. "I don't know what to tell you."
"I've got an idea!" Leafpool gasped. "Tansy, you and Ashfur are always talking about backpacking around Europe, right?"
The director nodded. "We want to, but it would be too strenuous for Star and Mallow. We'd be hiking for months."
The scorekeeper smiled. "Then I've got a solution! You and Ashfur go on your trip, and let Brokenstar baby-sit for your kids!"
"That would work!" Tansy gasped. "Brokenstar, would you?"
"Sure!" the security guard meowed. "I love those kits! We can watch princess movies every night, play dress-up, color pictures with glitter crayons..."
"Oh, Brokenstar, you'll be the best baby-sitter ever!" Tansy gushed. "I've got to go tell Ashfur we can go vacation!"
The security guard tore off his vest. and ran out of the auditorium. "I've got to go pack my collection of Disney movies!"
Leafpool stood alone on the stage, staring at the crowd of cats filing in to see the next episode of Win a Date with Nightcloud. "How will I tell these poor cats? Maybe I can just leave and no one will notice..."
