A/N: So... this is it. This is the last chapter of a very crazy journey. I hope you have enjoyed taking it with me. I cried the other day because I realized that I'm at the end of this 130,000+ word journey. Thanks. I'm sure I'll be back with another story, but this might be it for this version of Sheldon and Amy (though, I can't promise that. I have had trouble giving them up before.) Love you guys. I hope you enjoy this little look into Sheldon and Amy's life.

Three Years Later:

Sheldon was cleaning up Cheerios from the floor of the kitchen. Ally almost always cleaned up if she spilled something like this, but she was excitedly running around rather than helping her father.

"Daddy, Mommy and I are going to go out with Aunt Penny and Aunt Bernadette and we don't have to bring Noah or Marcus or any boys," Ally said excitedly.

"Not even me?" Sheldon said. He didn't particularly want to go shopping with the girls, but he did like teasing his daughter.

"Nope, but you are my favorite boy. If any boy was allowed to come with, it would be you," Ally said cheerfully.

"I'm glad that I'm your favorite boy, but what about your brother?"

"He's my second favorite boy. I like you both more than I like Uncle Leonard or Noah or Uncle Raj or any of the boys at the park," Ally said.

Sheldon was suddenly concerned that his little girl was playing with strange boys at the park, but he tried to let it go. Amy came in with her purse.

"I hear you are going out with Penny and Bernadette. Please don't let them spoil her," Sheldon told his wife.

"I know. I know. You're the only one who is allowed to spoil her," Amy said.

"I don't spoil her."

"You let her have ice cream for dinner last Friday when I was working late," Amy told her husband with an eye roll.

"That isn't spoiling her," Sheldon defended himself.

"That is the definition of spoiling her," Amy said.

"That is your opinion," Sheldon said.

"I'm not arguing with you about this again, but you are wrong. You spoil her, and you aren't allowed to give her ice cream for dinner again. Just don't do it. It's a rule," Amy said and pointed to the list of rules on the refrigerator. Recently added to the bottom was, "The kids are not allowed to have only ice cream or any dessert for any meal or snack."

"Fine," Sheldon said sulkily.

Amy kissed him, and asked, "Are you going to be okay with just you and Lee today?" Amy trusted her husband with the kids (ice cream aside), but Sunday was usually family day. He had gotten surprisingly good about messes and touching, but Sheldon was still pretty strict about his schedule.

"Yes. Perhaps we will call Leonard or Howard and have boys' afternoon to match your girls' afternoon," Sheldon said as he picked up his son from his high chair. "Right, kiddo?"

"Mommy, are the boys going to have more fun than we are?" Ally asked.

"No. They are going to have the exact same amount of fun that we are. They are just going to have a different kind of fun," Amy told her daughter before they started to leave.

"Wait. You both need to give me hugs and kisses before you leave," Sheldon said.

Ally ran back and slammed into her father's legs. Still holding Lee, Sheldon bent down to get a hug and a kiss from his daughter. She also gave her little brother a kiss on the top of his head before running off again. Amy walked over more slowly and kissed Sheldon before taking her son in her arms and giving him a quick cuddle. After, Amy handed back her son, she laughed that Sheldon was requesting hugs and kisses from anyone. They had been married for five years, and he still surprised her every now and again.

Sheldon watched them go out the door. Then he turned to his son and asked, "What do you want to do today, kiddo? Should we go to the park, or the zoo, or the train store?"

"Tain," Lee yelled in excitement.

"My thoughts exactly. I'll call Uncle Leonard and see if he and Noah want to come too," Sheldon told his son.

"Leonard, since your wife has commandeered my wife and daughter, I was wondering if you and Noah would like to come with Lee and me to the train store?" Sheldon asked when his best friend answered the phone.

Sheldon could hear Leonard ask his son if he wanted to go to the train store. "Yeah. We'll come, but Penny wants me to take Noah to play outside more, so can we go to the park after?"

"I'm sure there will be plenty of time for that. Our women can shop for hours," Sheldon said.

"Do you want me to come pick you up?" Leonard asked.

"No. You know I've been a licensed driver for two and a half years now. We'll just meet you at the train store in forty-five minutes," Sheldon said. There had come a point when Sheldon realized that he needed to learn to drive because it just wasn't practical for him to get rides to and from work or have someone drive him to go pick up diapers. Looking back, Sheldon realized that he should have started driving before they decided to have Ally. Still, it took six months of lessons from Amy before he could pass the test, and another three months of him driving before she would allow him to have Ally in the car with him, but Sheldon Cooper could drive a car now.

Sheldon took his son upstairs to change him out of his pajamas. One could always tell when Sheldon dressed his children as compared to when Amy dressed them. Today Lee was wearing a tiny Flash shirt that very nearly matched his father's. Yesterday's shirt featured monkeys. Then Sheldon grabbed Lee's diaper bag, put Lee in his car seat, and they set off for the train store.

They arrived and Leonard and Noah were already there. Noah was jumping around and just generally acting like a four year old. Leonard was sitting on a bench outside the train store and watching his son. Sheldon pulled into a parking spot, and retrieved Lee from the backseat of his car before walking over.

"Wow. He's getting big," Leonard said. "They grow so fast." It had only been a week or so since Leonard had seen Lee, but it still seemed like a difference.

Noah ran over. "Hi, Uncle Sheldon! Hi, Lee!" he shouted.

"No," Lee said excitedly. He didn't quite have a handle on Noah's name yet. It got a little confusing when one wanted to know if he was talking about his friend or if he didn't want to do something.

"Mommy went to the mall to spend time with Aunt Amy and Ally, and she said I couldn't go because I'm a boy and it was girls only today, but now we are all spending time together and it's boys only, so it's better anyways," Noah said.

Leonard grabbed his son's hand. "Okay, we are going inside the train store now. Do you remember what that means?"

"Inside voice, Daddy," Noah said much quieter than he had been speaking to this point.

"That's right," Leonard told his son, and they all walked inside together.

"Tains, Dada," Lee said when he saw all of the display models. Many of them were much too small for the baby to play with, but they could look.

"He really is your son," Leonard said, remarking on how excited the little boy was about the trains.

"Who else's would he be, Leonard? Are you implying that Amy has been unfaithful?" Sheldon asked.

"What? No. I was just commenting on how much he is like you," Leonard said.

"Oh. Yes. I think both of my children are quite a bit like me. They are also quite a bit like Amy," Sheldon said.

Leonard looked over at his son and said, "Other than the blond hair, that boy is all me. I really hoped he would be more like his mother. Maybe we'll have a little girl and she will be more like Penny. She wants to have another one," Leonard said.

Sheldon looked at his son pointing to the moving trains on the big display and smiling at his father. "I was worried when Amy suggested having another child, but look at him," Sheldon said. Before Ally was born, everyone thought Sheldon would be a father in name only, but there was no doubting that he was a very involved and loving father.

Noah came back and grabbed his dad's hand to show him something and stopped the conversation about more children. They walked around the store for a little while longer. Sheldon bought his son another piece for his oversized Thomas the Tank Engine set and a couple of pieces for his own "grown ups only" set that he kept in his office at home.

Then they stopped to have lunch before going to the park. Sheldon put Lee down on the grass and the boy would stand up, walk a few feet before falling down, and then getting up to do it again. He was trying to keep up with Noah, but the older boy obviously had a much better sense of balance. When Noah grabbed Lee's hand to help him walk, Leonard took a picture and sent it to Penny.

"Him being all you isn't a bad thing," Sheldon said. "Noah grabbing Lee's hand and helping him walk; that's you, too."

"Thanks, Sheldon."

Sheldon nodded and kept watching the boys play together. Then he looked down at his phone. There was a text from Amy.

We're going to dinner. Would you boys like to join us? Bernadette is calling Howard to see if he and Marcus want to come. -A

Leonard agreed, so they packed up their boys and left the park. The restaurant was near by, but the girls were already there. Ally ran toward her father once he was close. Sheldon handed Lee to his mother and picked up Ally.

"Hi, Daddy. We had fun at the mall. Mommy bought a new dress and she looks very pretty in it," Ally said.

"I'm sure she does. She always looks pretty. Did you get anything?" Sheldon asked as he looked over at his wife.

"I got two shirts and one of them has monkeys on it. I like monkeys."

Sheldon smiled and kissed his daughter's forehead. He could have put her down, but he kept hold of her. He walked closer to his wife and watched as she talked to their son.

"So, what did you boys do today?"

"Tains! Park! No!," Lee yelled.

"We went to the train store, got some lunch and then spent the afternoon with at the park with Noah," Sheldon said, translating what his son had just said.

Ally started squirming when she learned that Noah was there. "Daddy, I want to go see Noah," she complained. He let her down and she took Penny's hand while the both walked over to see Leonard and Noah.

Sheldon put his arm around Amy and they both watched their daughter talk to her friend. They were both jumping around and doing a weird dance. Sheldon laughed quietly. "Leonard pointed out that Lee is quite a bit like me, but I don't know where she gets any of that. I'm blaming you."

"I've met your sister. You are not blaming me for that. I like it, actually. She is far more social than you or I were as children," Amy said.

"I think it helps that she has peers as bright as she is. Noah and Marcus are both quite smart, and I think that helps her not feel like such an outcast. They aren't at her level, but most children that age can't count to ten."

"How about you? Can you count to ten?" Amy asked her son as she tickled him.

"One! Two! Three!" Lee shouted.

"Not bad. Do you know what comes after three?" Sheldon asked.

Lee looked like he was thinking about it, but he just shook his head. Amy and Sheldon just kept working on his numbers until Howard finally arrived with Marcus in tow. Marcus was sometimes icy about playing with Noah and Ally because he was six and therefore too old to be playing with "babies," but he ran right over today.

They all went in to have dinner. They missed Raj, but he was still on his honeymoon, so they would have to catch up with him when he got home. Ally started off in between Amy and Sheldon, but then she crawled into her father's lap. From there, she told him every detail of her day.

"Noah said you went to the train store without me. I like the train store," Ally said when she was done.

"You got to spend all of that time with Mommy and Aunt Penny and Aunt Bernadette. You couldn't have done that if you came to the train store. Plus, I got some new pieces for your train. We can play with it when we get home, so you'll still get to play trains today," Sheldon told her.

Ally looked satisfied with Sheldon's reasoning. Sheldon often acted like a big kid himself, so it was easy for him to relate with the children in his life. Even when Marcus was little, people were often confused to see Sheldon having lengthy conversations with the small boy. It was part of the reason that Sheldon eventually agreed that he and Amy should have their own child.

Sheldon made Ally move to her own seat when the food came. He helped cut up her food for her while Amy fed Lee. It was a simple pattern, but they knew it well. Most of Sheldon's parenting was learned while Amy's was intuitive. It was a good match because Sheldon was always willing to pick up what Amy threw at him. He even changed diapers. That had been a bit of a battle, but by the time Lee came around he was an expert.

"Daddy, I'm full," Ally said as she climbed back into Sheldon's lap. Like as with their mother, Sheldon didn't have any trouble hugging or cuddling his children. They were both almost always welcome in his arms or his lap. They were always welcome to give him hugs or kisses.

Sheldon ate his dinner around his daughter. She was leaning into his arm and she was asleep by the time he was done. Once he finished eating, he moved her so that she was leaning into his chest and more secure. Lee was getting cranky too, so Sheldon and Amy decided it was time to get going home. Sheldon took Ally to Amy's car before taking Lee back into his arms. Then, Sheldon kissed his wife and they got into their own cars to go home.

When they got home, Sheldon and Amy helped each other haul in children and purchases. Ally woke up and Sheldon showed her the pieces of the train that he bought before taking her upstairs for a bath.

"We can play with the train tomorrow, but it's bedtime now," Sheldon told his daughter.

"Can I sleep with you and Mommy?"

"You're a big girl now. You have a big girl bed and everything," Sheldon reminded her.

"I don't want to sleep in my bed. I don't like it. There are monsters under my bed," Ally insisted.

"No there aren't. I checked. Then I sprayed anti-monster spray, and I set a trap. There are zero monsters anywhere in the house and there are especially no monsters in your room," Sheldon said as he pulled the nightgown over his daughter's head. He didn't like lying to his daughter, but she would never believe him if he simply told her that monsters weren't real.

"Will you stay with me for a little bit? Just to make sure that your trap worked?" Ally asked as Sheldon lifted her into her bed.

"Just for a minute," Sheldon said as he scooted Ally over so he could lie next to her. He could hear Amy singing Lee to sleep. He loved Amy's voice even when she sang lullabies.

"Daddy, why don't you live near Aunt Missy and Uncle Junior? Am I going to live very far away from Lee when I'm a grown up?" Ally asked.

"Maybe. I live here because this is where my work is and this is where Mommy is. Sometimes I'm sad that we don't see Grandma or Aunt Missy or Uncle Junior very much, but then I call them or we get on a plane to go see them. You might live far away from Lee when you are older, but you'll still love him and you'll visit each other and it will be okay," Sheldon told his daughter. "That is a long time from now."

"I like seeing you and Mommy and Lee every day. I don't want to live far away from any of you," Ally said sleepily.

"I'll hold you to that when you want to go to Harvard like Mommy did. I'll remind you that you said that and make you go to Cal Tech or UCLA, so that your mother or I can keep an eye on you all the time," Sheldon said. He didn't like thinking about his little girl growing up, but he could see it. It seemed like just yesterday that he paced this room holding her until she would finally go to sleep.

Ally was asleep next to him, but he kept watching her until Amy appeared in the doorway. "Is she asleep?"

"Yeah. She's just getting so big," Sheldon said.

"Come here," Amy told him. She grabbed his shirt and pulled him down for a kiss when he got to her. "It'll be okay."

"I hope so. Is Lee asleep?"

"Yeah. They are both asleep and I am not about to pass out from exhaustion. What should we do?"

"I have a few ideas," Sheldon said as he pulled Amy back to their bedroom.

"Don't forget to lock the door," Amy said with a smirk.
