Hello

I am back; I started correcting some of the mistakes I made in my fanfic. After that, I wrote a new chapter. A chapter from Fiyero's point of view. I know it's been a long time and I hope you guys don't hate me. So rereading everything gave me a lot of ideas. And I have fresh hope to write once again.

Enjoy this chapter,
Tempe

Chapter 12: Munchkinland

Fiyero

A week in Munchkinland felt like an eternety. He had spent a lot of time with Nessarose, and he hated every moment of it. She talked about Elphaba more than once; she wanted to know why he hired someone from the cloister and more than once he had explained that they worked for free.

He hadn't dared to tell Nessarose that he hired her for his daughter. He hadn't told that Nor needed to know that being different was okay. He hadn't told that he was attracted to Elphaba. If he did tell all of these things, Nessarose would judge him harshly. There was no freedom in their relationship, and it became worst every moment he saw her.

He simply couldn't be honest with her. That was what he hated the most. That day they said that Nessarose's father would be arriving at the castle. He would only be staying one day, some part of him wanted to leave for that day. Nessarose wanted him to meet her father; he didn't have interest in that.

When he went to bed that evening, he didn't think of anything. When he closed his eyes, it seemed that he opened them again right away. Only his room seemed to have changed slightly. On the end of his bed, Elphaba was sitting; he wasn't in control of what he was doing. He was pulled by something he couldn't understand. When he saw Elphaba, he sat up in his bed. Elphaba was wearing a deep red dress. One that showed just how beautiful she was. He had to admit that he had never seen her wear something like this before. When she turned around, he could see just how revealing this dress was. It acentuaded every curve of her body. Slowly he moved towars her and pulled her into his arms.
He heard her laugh. He had never once heard that sound, but it was beautiful. There was not a thing he loved as much as he did this. He opened her zipper and dropped her dress to the ground. She was wearing a simple bra. He kissed her, right that moment he knew he shouldn't be doing this. He shouldn't be thinking about his governess in that way; the truth was that he was thinking about her in this way. He lay her down the bed and…

The alarm went of that moment, Fiyero was a wake right away. He couldn't be having this kind of dreams. He shouldn't have this kind of dreams. What could he do to stop it?

That morning he stood up at nine o'clock. When he went for breakfast, he saw Glinda at the buffet. She was wearing a conservative long blue dress, not a single part of her body wasn't covered. He knew this dress was not something for Glinda. She liked to wear sparkling colors; she liked to draw attention to her clothes. This was anything but that.
"Why are you wearing this frog?"

At first, Glinda didn't react; she walked to the table silently. Fiyero took some fruit , yoghurt and a piece of bread and joined her at the table.
"Nessa said that her father might misunderstand my clothes.", Glinda said. "She says my clothes might actually make him sick. Those exact words. She has no respect for anyone. Is there truly anything wrong with my clothes?"
"Not anything.", Fiyero replied. "In fact, my governess dresses like you. I want her to dress more like you. I mean, she's… I don't know her yet, I might…"

"Yero, anything that comes after 'getting to know her' is a bad idea."
He didn't understand why Glinda said that, would get to know Elphaba cause his attraction to become worst. That moment he remembered the dream he had about Elphaba.

"I had a sex dream about her last night…" He wisphered.

"I assume you don't mean Nessa," Glinda replied. "No one has that kind of dream about Nessa. Are you serious about this?"
"As serious as a heartattack." He blushed. "You don't know how…"
"Fiyero, I have experience with sex dreams." She opened her eyes wider. "I know that it's not easy, specially because you know you have to marry Nessa."
"So you're saying?"
"Stop the sex dreams." She replied. "Or have them about Nessa, I mean just think about…"
Their faces both changed in disgust. He didn't understand he shouldn't be disgusted by Nessarose. He should want to see her in a sexy way. He should want to have a sex dream about Nessa, but he only felt disgusted when he tried to imagine Nessa in just her underwear. It was the opinions she had about everything. It made her less desireble. He believed Nessa wouldn't like it when people had sex dreams about her. Maybe she would push her way in the dream and end it herself.

"What do I do?"
"You have a couple of weeks here," Glinda replied. "Stop seeing your governess in that way. Don't look to her as Elphaba. Look to her as your employee. And I know that already seems sexy. Stop looking at her, hate her, if you have to."
"But I can't…."
"Than find a way." , Glinda looked at him. "Has she never said something means to you."

"She said she didn't respect me. She always contradicts me. She can't ever not tell what she thinks, and she talks to me like I'm not a prince." Fiyero explained. "She is so…"
"She has no respect for you? Isn't that enough to hate her?"
"She says I haven't earned her respect. And I haven't truly tried to get it. She's so good with my kids. She…."

"Oh dear."

He knew what Glinda thought; she didn't need to say it. She thought he was getting to close to Elphaba and Elphaba hadn't been in her home for that long. He hadn't spent that much time with Elphaba. How could he like her better than Nessa? He spent so much time with Nessarose, but he didn't have the same affinity for Nessa.

Life would be so much easier if he felt anything for Nessa. Life would be better if he could fall in love with Nessarose. The only thing he felt was a desire for Elphaba. What does he need to do about it? How did people stop seeing someone in a certain way? How could he get rid of this feeling and felt? And if couldn't get away with it, what would happen?

He remembered his grand parents; his grandfather slept around. He had a mistress in every little town in the Vinkus. He didn't want to be like that; he wanted to be faithful. He never wanted to have a mistress, not even if he was married to Nessarose. He believed a man could only love one. Even if it wasn't real love, even if it was only marriage. A man could only be married to one woman. There should never be another woman in a relationship.

Yes, Glinda was right. He needed to get Elphaba from his mind. And maybe there were ways Munchkindland could help him with that.
