"But we always go there, Sheldon. Why can't we pick a new restaurant for Date Night?"

Sheldon had just suggested a night at the Cheesecake Factory for their next date night. Amy, on the other hand, was hoping for something out of their 'comfort zone'. Things were so routine with them and Amy wanted to spice things up a bit.

"Amy," he gasped as he looked at her incredulously. "You know I can't just go to any restaurant. I would need to find out if they have any health care violations, what temperature they store their frozen products and what time they get their shipment in so we get the freshest food."

Amy was no longer paying attention, though, as she had pulled out her lip balm in the middle of his rant to apply to her lips.

Sheldon wrinkled his brow at her for not paying attention. He lowered his gaze to watch her smack her glossy lips together before he read the label.

Fudge Brownie.

His eidetic memory brought him back to their kiss on the train. The way his lips had pressed to her pursed ones and how there was no denying that they tasted like the brownie they had eaten for dessert. He didn't dislike the kiss at all. If he was being honest, he may have liked it.

"Brownie chap-stick?" He looked from the small tube up to his girlfriend's plump lips as she placed the tube back into her purse.

"Lip balm. But, yeah. I don't like the mint ones. They make my lips tingle." She sat down on the sofa and watched as Sheldon sat down beside her in his usual spot before she angled her body toward him. "So, where do you want to go? Anywhere else we can possibly tr-"

"Does that taste like brownie?"

"What?" Caught off guard was an understatement. Amy would never have guessed he was actually interested in learning about something as simple as lip balm. "I mean, yeah. I think it tastes like chocolate, at least." She licked her top lip since it was hard not to when she was talking about it. "I would ask if you want to try it, but I know how you are wi-"

"I'll try it."

Her eyes widened, astonished he would allow something to touch his lips that had already touched hers. Surely, the wine glass moment on the train was a one time thing as his anger had clouded his better judgement. And that kiss...well, she didn't know what to make of that kiss.

"Umm okay." She eyed him skeptically as she slowly reached down before opening her purse and taking the lip balm out. As she sit back up, she held it out to him. "Here you g-"

Amy instantly dropped the chap-stick when Sheldon fused his lips with hers after his hands had cupped the side of her face. Left frozen, the hand that was once holding the lip balm hung in the air the very same way it had when he claimed her lips mere weeks ago.

Sheldon decided to be audacious and let his tongue leave his mouth and slowly brush against her lips, tasting the chocolate flavored lip balm. Mmm, it does taste like brownie.

The feeling of his tongue briefly against her lip almost caused Amy to unravel. She reached out and hesitantly placed her hands on his chest as he was deepening the kiss; no longer taking notice of the taste of the lip balm, but simply captivated by the feel of her soft, warm lips and the all too familiar sensations running through him as he allowed his mouth to lightly suck on her bottom lip.

Amy hummed so quietly that if it wasn't for his Vulcan hearing he wouldn't have heard it. Unfortunately, the hum of her lips was causing Sheldon's lower region to twitch and so he had no choice but to quickly pulled back, leaving both gasping for air.

Their eyes never left each others even after their breathing had regulated.

Finally Amy spoke.

"I should wear that lip balm more often."

Sheldon gave a curt nod as his vision was now on her lips. "I wouldn't object to it."

At least it would definitely spice things up.
