And hi everybody!

So Kieran and I uploaded Dawn, so check that out anytime you want, just a sidenote.

I started a new ROTG fanfiction, as many of you may know, called "Lights." Please check that out if you can too!

I made a promise, that I would update the Crystal Thief first. So here I am, updating!

So I'm not sure what POVs need to be completed.

I mean, this chapter is Triton Girl.

FlynnXDani is over. I know a lot of people shipped Flynn and Dani a lot, and I'm thrilled you love my OC with the amazing Flynn Rider! :D But that beautiful coupleship is over for this story. If I ever write a sequel to the Crystal Thief, I'll continue FlynnXDani.

Cindy/Char is pretty much over for this story as well. It ended with the last chapter.

Peter/Alice is also over—Alice will always be in Peter's heart, he gave her a thing to remember him by, e.t.c. Like I said, all these ships will be continued if I ever make a sequel.

Ariel/Adrian is over for this story too. I'm beginning to pack up the Crystal Thief 'cuz it's nearly over! *sobs hysterically*

This is just some family comfort between Ariel and Attina, her oldest sister.

Jim/Wendy romance scenes also ended a long time ago.

Sooooo this is the last chapter!
I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EXTREME SUPPORT.

Maybe one day, the Crystal Thief story will continue into a sequel?
We'll see.

Onto the chapter!

Thanks to all those who reviewed, followed, and favorited!

Enjoy!

Xx, Crystal

Is it too late for me to get a family that loves and believes in me?
-Ariel

"Why do you hate me?"
The words just slipped out of Ariel's mouth as she stood in Attina Triton's doorway.

Attina grabbed the TV remote and hurled it at Ariel as soon as she entered.
"No, stop, Attina!" Ariel shouted. She grabbed her crutches and hobbled into Attina's room, reaching for her wrist.

Suddenly, her crutches gave way and Ariel fell to the ground, her leg aching underneath her body.

"Ariel!" Attina stopped running, halfway to the pristine bathroom, turned around, and helped Ariel up so she was sitting back against Attina's bed. "Are you okay?" Attina asked finally.

Ariel lost it. "WHY DO YOU HATE ME?" she screamed. "What did I ever do to you, Attina, that you hate me so much? Is it because I don't have boy preferences? Because I'm not as mean as you people? Because I actually have poor friends? Because I don't judge people by their social or financial standards?"
Attina shook her head. "God, Ariel. How immature of you. I don't hate you."
"You extremely dislike me, Attina? Is that it?" Ariel as still as mad as a hornet.

Attina sighed. "No. Ariel, I don't hate you."
"Give me the straight, raw, fricking truth. I won't get mad at you!" Ariel's blue eyes were wide and pleading. "Don't storm away from me, don't slam the door, don't yell at me. Just tell me the actual truth."

Attina looked at Ariel for the longest time, then opened her wide pink mouth. "I'm afraid."
Ariel was confused. "Wait. You're afraid—of me?"
Attina shook her head. "No. I mean, not exactly. See, Ariel, you were always the rebellious one in our family. And you were out doing stuff nobody was supposed to. And you were always out and about. And you know who you remind me of?"
Ariel took a deep breath. "Mom."
Attina nodded. "That's right. Mom. And you do remember what happened to Mom, right?"
Ariel blinked back tears, and nodded yes.

Attina did more yoga fire-breaths and then spoke again. "I'm afraid you'll end up...like Mom. So I detach from you so if anything happens, I can remember that we never really spoke and didn't really have enough of a connection for me to mourn like that for you. I shut people out because I don't want myself to show emotion when they get hurt." Attina reached out gingerly and cupped Ariel's face in her hands. "Sweetie. Ariel? Does that make sense?"
And to Ariel's intense surprise, it did make sense.

Ariel reached out and hugged Attina tightly. "I won't do anything that'll cause me to end up...like Mom," she promised. "You're my sister, and I want us to be close, Attina. We were missing out on so much together."
Attina nodded in agreement, hugging back gingerly.

Ariel grinned mischievously. "So am I allowed to date Adrian?"
Attina rolled her eyes. "God, Ariel."
"Well? Am I?"
Attina sighed. "I suppose."
Ariel wiggled her eyebrows. "And maybe I should find you a boyfriend. Oooh! How about that nice tall rich guy who lives down our street? Kuzco?"
"Out!" Attina playfully swatted Ariel, chasing her to the door.
"I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss..." Ariel sang.

Attina laughed and slammed the door in her face.

Ariel walked down the hallway, to where her sisters were waiting expectantly to see how it would go.

Ariel gave them a thumbs up.

The Triton Girls jumped up and cheered.

In that moment, they weren't Mean Girls.
They weren't the rich snobs.

They were just sisters, but they were no ordinary sisters.

They had been through too many trials to just be called "sisters."
They were the Triton Girls, and they were fabulous.

Normal POV

The town of Disney was quiet.

There was barely any activity.

Birds flew, cars drove down streets, stoplights flickered, students fooled around in class.

It was a seemingly ordinary day.

But as the residents of Disney knew, things were never ordinary for Disney for long.

It wouldn't be long before trouble stirred up again, threatening to endanger the lives of many, and promise an adventure to any who were willing to find it.
