"Kip!" Scar called as she exited the office.

"Yes," he said as he got out of the tow truck.

"O good, you are back," she said with a smile. "No issues?"

"No. Put the wheel back on and made sure it was tightened correctly," he answered with a small smile.

"Good. Watch the office while I am gone," she said with a soft smile, as she crossed to Jax's bike.

"What if something happens that I can't figure out?" he yelled back.

"Figure it out!" Jax called back.

"Don't be rude," she said to Jax, smacking him on the arm. "If you can't figure it out, call my cell," she yelled back.

"Yes, ma'am," Kip called back.

"Should we take my bike? You are in a dress," Jax asked looking at her from head to toe.

"Teller, have you ever known me to wear a dress without shorts underneath?" she asked gently before swinging her leg over Jax's bike and slipping her arms around his waist.

"I stand corrected. Hold on tight," he said as he started his bike. Scar squeezed her arms tighter around his waist and then relaxed some and let the wind blow through her hair.

"This isn't the way to the hospital, Jax!" She yelled through the wind.

"We're taking the long way," he yelled back. She expected a smirk but noticed there wasn't one. Instead she noticed a little bit of worry and saw him glancing in his mirror.

"What's wrong?" she asked in his ear.

"We are being followed," he said as quiet as he could but just loud enough for her to barely hear him. Scarlett turned her head to glance behind them. Sure, enough there was a dark SUV following them.

"Do you think its an enemy or the FBI?" she asked.

"I am not sure, but hold on tight, I am going to try and loose them," he yelled back.

She immediately tightened her grip as Jax dropped the throttle to pick up speed. She let out a small yell in surprise and then started to laugh.

"You ok back there?" Jax shouted over his shoulder.

"I am perfect!" she said as she loosened her grip on his waist.

"Don't let go too much," Jax called back to her.

She leaned forward to whisper in his ear, "Never."

As they reached the hospital, Scarlett noticed Agent Stahl's vehicle siting in one of the parking spots.

"Jax," she started as she took off her helmet. "Isn't that Stahl's car?" She asked looking at him.

"I do believe you are correct darling," he said glancing over at the car.

"Jax, we are the only two with family here from the club. You don't think she would?" she asked with concern written all over her face.

"It would be a big mistake if she did," he responded with a serious look. "Come on, let's go," he said draping his arm around her and walking into the hospital.

"Why don't I visit my dad while you visit Abel?" Scar suggested as they entered the elevator.

"I would rather not let you out of my sight," Jax said pressing the button.

"Jax, what could possibly happen to me in the hospital?" she said looking at him.

"I just worry," he said kissing her forehead.

"I will meet you in Abel's room in 30 minutes. If I am not there, you can come find me," she said with a grin. "Besides, who is stupid enough to mess with me and bring the whole club down on them?"

"Alright. Thirty Minutes," he said as he gave her a kiss and exited the elevator.

"Thirty Minutes," she responded as the doors closed and Jax disappeared from her sight. She smiled inwardly as she rode the elevator in silence. She heard the door open and glanced up to see what floor she was on. 'Someone must be getting on,' she thought before looking at the door as it opened.

"Well isn't this a pleasant surprise," Agent Stahl's voice came.

"Agent," she responded politely.

"I was hoping to run into you, Miss Scarlett," Stahl responded with a smile.

"I don't have long. I am visiting my father on my lunch break," Scar responded not looking at her.

"Well this won't take but a second of your time," Stahl said facing her. "I read that you are working on finishing your degree. To be so close, it would be a shame if something would happen. Especially since you have already endured so much. I take it your family and the club do not know?" she asked with a small grin.

"Agent Stahl, are you threatening me? Is that wise? I mean you have obviously read my file, given that you know something my family doesn't even know," Scar responded glaring at her.

"Tell me what you know about the club, and maybe I won't have to do anything," Stahl answered.

"What will you do? I have done nothing illegal and neither has my family. I am a college student home visiting her father in the hospital and working part time to help with medical bills. My professors all know my whereabouts and have been working with me so that I may graduate on time. As for the club, it is a motorcycle club. There is no illegal activity there or with Teller-Morrow. I have the books in the office if you would like to look over them, but you won't find anything. It is a legitimate car repair business," Scarlett answered as storm clouds gathered in her eyes. "And as for what I have endured, that has only made me stronger. It is over with and has been dealt with by the authorities. Why would I tell them of something that is already over?" she asked as the elevator door opened. "Good day, Agent Stahl. Let us not do this again sometime," she said with a small smile as she exited the elevator.

"I guess you didn't hear the news then?" Stahl said as she held the elevator door open with her hand.

"What news?" Scar said looking at her confused.

"That trial, that past. He was released from prison on good behavior a few days ago. My sources tell me that he has been asking your whereabouts. It would be a shame if he should find you," Stahl said with an evil smile.

"Agent Stahl, as I am sure you are aware, there is an order of protection. If he so much as steps foot in Charming, he will be arrested and sent back to prison," Scarlett responded not letting her fear show.

"We will see," Stahl said as she let the door close with a smile.

As soon as the door closed, Scarlett began to panic. Her breath pattern quickened, and fear tugged at her heart. If Stahl was threatening this, she needed to tell Jax and the club everything before Stahl had the chance to tell her secrets. She leaned against the wall and attempted to slow her heart rate and her breathing.

"Scarlett?" he father's voice came.

"Dad!" she said jumping. "What are you doing out of your room?"

"I can walk around now. Why don't you join me?" he asked offering his arm.

"Yes, daddy," she said with a soft smile as she took his arm. "How are you feeling?" she asked as they walked around the floor.

"I feel better now that my baby is here," he said with a smile. "But," he quickly added on. "Being visited by the FBI is not something that keeps me calm."

"So, Agent Stahl visited you?" she questioned.

"She did. That woman is definitely something," he father laughed. "As to what she thinks we may or may not know about the club, I told her nothing. I may not be part of the club, but they are still like family and they have taken great care of you and your mother."

"Scar!" Jax voice came worriedly.

"Here, Jax," she said waving him down. "Thank you, daddy," she said kissing him on the cheek.

"Hey! I went to your dad's room, but it was empty. I also saw Stahl," he said worriedly as he approached them.

"My fault Jax. I wanted to take a walk around the floor with my beautiful daughter," he father said with a smile.

"How are you feeling sir?" Jax asked with a smile.

"Better. I should be home soon. Jax, please extend my gratitude to the club and your family. I am not sure how things would have been if no one was around to take care of my family," he said placing his hand on Jax's arm.

"It was nothing sure. You raised quite a resilient daughter," Jax said returning his smile.

"I have. Seems she will not always need her father around," he responded giving her a sad look. It was with this look that she knew in an instant that Stahl has let something slip to her father.

"I will always need you, daddy," she said hugging him tightly. "We will discuss this later," she whispered in his ear.

"I should let you kids get back to whatever it is you are up to," her father said with a smile.

"I will come by later?" Scar said before kissing him on the cheek.

"Sounds like a plan, baby," her father said with a smile. "Take care of my baby, Jax," he added on with a serious tone.

"I will do as much as she will allow me," Jax said placing his arm around her waist.

"Just don't break her again," her father responded before walking away.

"I think he is finally warming back up to me," Jax said as they watched him walk away.

"Jax," she said looking at him seriously. "Jax, I think you are right. Stahl is going after the women of SAMCRO."

"Not all women know everything," Jax added.

"Jax, I need to talk to the club. There are things that happened," she started but her voice cracked.

"What do you mean?" Jax said turning her to look in her eyes. "Scar, what is wrong?"

"There are things that happened after I left Charming. Things that no one knows about, not even my parents," she said avoiding his gaze. "Jax, Stahl is going to use it against me. I need to tell the club before it happens," she said glancing up into his eyes.

"What happened?" Jax asked, his face written with concern. "Are you in trouble with the law?"

"No, not me and not here," she said glancing around nervously. "Call church," she added quietly.

Jax nodded silently and then pulled a cell phone from his pocket. "Juice call everyone and get them to the clubhouse. I am calling emergency church. I can't tell you why. Tell them I am calling church and that Scarlett will be in attendance. And do not forget to call Opie," he said quickly before hanging up.

"Let us get back to the clubhouse," she said quickly as she wrapped her hand around his. "I want to shower and change into something more, well, more me," she said with a laugh as she looked at her sundress.

"What is wrong with what you are wearing?" Jax asked as he ran his fingers up and down her arm.

"Jax, this dress is from before I left for college," she said has she pulled him to the elevator with her good hand.

"I am aware. I recall it mainly laying in a pile on my floor," he said pulling her closer to him and wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Not here," she said softly. He gently kissed her on the cheek.

"Do we need to stop at your house and grab clothes?" he asked.

"No, I brought extra with me so I could change before coming here later," she answered with a smile.

"Well aren't you a smart one," Jax smiled as the elevator doors opened and they walked towards the exit.

"So, I am told. How is Abel?" she asked as they crossed the parking lot to his bike.

"He is doing good. Tara said he might be able to come home soon," Jax said as he handed her the helmet.

"Why is it that the prince does not have two helmets?" she asked with her hands on her hips.

"Because the prince needs to protect the princess first," he said with a smirk. "Now put it on." She gave a small laugh and grabbed the helmet from Jax and placed it on her head. "Milady," he said offering his hand to help her on.

"Why thank you, sir," she laughed as she took his hand and climbed onto the back of his bike. "Don't take the long way. We need to get back to the club."

"Whatever the princess wants," Jax said as he sped out of the parking lot, forcing her to grab onto his waist and hold on tight.

"Hey! What happened to protecting the princess first?" she said in his ear.

"I will never do anything to place you in harms way. I know your response time by heart," he said with a laugh as they pulled up to a red light.

"Hello Jax," Hale said from his vehicle next to them.

"Hale. Still helping Stahl?" he sneered at him.

"It isn't worth it Jax," Scar said as she turned her head to face Hale.

"Scarlett. I did not expect to see you with Jax," Hale said with shock written all over his face.

"He offered to give me a ride to see my father from Teller-Morrow," she said glaring at him.

"How is he?" Hale asked.

"He is better. It would be helpful is nosey ATF agents would stop making him worry about his daughter," she said sharply, slapping him in the face with her words.

"Stahl visited your father? What does she want with you?" Hale asked, obviously shocked.

"She wants information on the club. She thinks because of my past with the club that I know anything. Hale, she is threatening to bring something from my past to Charming. But, let me tell you, if she does, I will call you and I will expect you to handle it since you are the Deputy Chief and it would be a violation of the law," she said sharply. "Jax, the light is green," she said as she wrapped her arms around his waist as they sped away, leaving Hale sitting dumbfounded in his vehicle.

As they pulled into Teller-Morrow, Scarlett started to remove her helmet. She could see others had arrived before them. As Jax pulled forward and went to walk is bike back into a spot, she jumped off the bike and laid the helmet on the table. She crossed quickly to the office and shut the door, ignoring Jax yelling after her. She locked the door and placed her back against it. She slowly slid down the door as she began to cry. She pulled her knees to her chest and sat there for a moment, letting the tears roll down her face.

"Scar?" Jax's voice came from the other side of the door. "You do know there is a second entrance to the office, right?"

"I am changing. I will be out in a second," she responded whipping her tears.

"Now you know, you can never lie to us rights, love?" Chibs voice came from across the office.

"Chibs! What if I had actually been changing?" she asked jumping up.

"Not sure how you will change without your clothes," he said holding up her bag in his hand.

"Thank you Chibs," she said crossing to grab her bag. "I am going to go change in the clubhouse."

"Darling," Chibs started grabbing her hand.

"Don't Chibs. I promise, I will explain everything in Church," she responded looking away from him.

"What is so bad that you cannot even look me in the eye?" Chibs asked shocked. "But I trust you will tell us all what is wrong. Go get changed. I will meet you in the Chapel," Chibs said before kissing the side of her head and walking out. "Leave her Jackie Boy. She will tell us what is going on shortly. Let her go to the clubhouse to change," Chibs' voice came from outside the other door.

"I will be there in a second," Jax responded to him. "Scar don't say anything just listen. What ever happened, what ever had you so scared and upset. I will always protect you and I will not think anything different about you. You still have my heart, Scarlett. I am going to go in the clubhouse now. Come in when you are ready," Jax said through the door. She watched through the window as Jax backed away from the door before turning and walking into the clubhouse. She took a breath and decided to just change in the office. She closed the interior door and all the blinds before kicking off her heels and pulling off her sundress. As she pulled her black jeans on, her hand brushed over a raised scar that was on the lower left side of her abdomen. She looked at it as a tear slid down her face. 'Hold yourself together, Scar,' she mentally told herself. She pulled her tank top quickly over her head and pulled her leather jacket on. As she adjusted her shirt, she realized that there was a small gap between her jeans and the bottom of her shirt. Her scar was slightly visible. She took a deep breath and calmed herself. She knew the moment she stepped into the clubhouse that Jax would notice it. She crossed over to the desktop and pulled up a news article from a website and quickly printed multiple copies before folding them and putting them on the inside of her jacket.

"Scar," a soft knock came at the door. "Everyone is here."

"Thank you, Kip. I am coming," she said as she crossed to the door and opened it. As she crossed to the clubhouse, she kept her head held high. She did not want to let anyone see her falter or see her as weak. She kept reminding herself that this would all be ok. Nothing bad was going to happen because of this.

As she entered the clubhouse, Kip was right behind her.

"They are already in there," he said pointing to the Chapel.

"Thank you, Kip," she said giving him a soft smile. She crossed to the door and knocked on it. She knew better than to just enter Chapel, even if she was really the princess.

Chibs opened the door for her and simply said, "Come in, dear." As she entered, she looked at Jax. His eyes scanned her slowly and he stopped on the scar peeking out from under her clothes. He did not say anything, but she watched his body language change. He motioned for her to come stand next to him.

"Here, Scarlett," Bobby said as he stood from his seat next to Jax.

"No, Bobby. I have not earned a seat at this table. I will stand," she said placing her hand on his shoulder. She moved behind Jax and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Ok, VP," Clay started looking at the pair. "You called this emergency meeting. What is going on?"

"Stahl is targeting the women of SAMCRO," Jax said leaning forward slightly. "If they haven't already ran into her, then expect a visit or a phone call."

"How do you know this?" Op asked, worry written all over his face. Everyone knew how Donna recently felt about the club and that worried him.

"Scar," Jax said softly, leaning back towards her.

"Today, Agent Stahl called Teller-Morrow, requesting to speak with me. I told her I would come down to the station after I had finished my work for the day. Moments later, as I was sitting at the picnic tables eating lunch, she appeared. I told her that I would speak to her when I was no longer at work and that she needed to remove herself from the premise as she was on private property and did not have to right to be here," Scarlett told them.

"That-a-girl Scarlett," Chibs cheered from his seat.

"That is not all. Jax and I decided to head over to the hospital for a short visit with Abel and my father. Jax went to see Abel as I went to see my father, with the promise to meet up in a half-hour. Moments after Jax exited the elevator, Stahl entered it. She threatened me with my past, that if I did not give up anything on the club that I would regret it. She told me that she would lead my past to the front door of my parents' home and to the club," she said as a tear slid down her face.

"Scar, you are the only one in this room without a criminal record. You are the definition of squeaky clean," Juice said from his chair.

"Yea," everyone said from their seats and she could help but smile.

"Juice, do you only search for cases where we are the ones with criminal charges?" she asked looking at him.

"Usually, yes," he said glancing at her.

"So that search would not show any cases or anything that we would be the victim in?" she half asked, half told him.

"No, it does not," he said confirming what she said.

"What are you saying child," Piney said from next to Opie. "Does this have something to do with that spot you are holding your hand over?"

"For an old man you are observant," she responded looking over at him.

"Is that a scar?" Jax asked grabbing her hand and pulling it away.

"Yes. it is," she said calmly.

"Scar, this looks like it was a knife wound," Jax started saying. "When did this happen?"

"Hey!" Clay said loudly, making all the talking cease. "Scarlett," he said turning to her. "Please tell us what happened."

"Thank you, Clay," she said with a small smile. "First I need you all to promise me something. And yes, I need that promise before I utter another word. Whatever anger you are feeling, you are not under any circumstance allowed to hunt down or harm this person, unless they step foot in Charming," she said looking around the table.

"How you can you expect," Opie said looking at her.

"Promise me! Some of you are like older brothers to me and others are like uncles or fathers to me. Please promise, I cannot tell you this and then have to fear that you will retaliate," she said harshly.

"Ok," Opie responded putting his hands up.

"Does everyone promise?" she asked glancing around. They were all shaking their heads yes, except Jax.

"Jackson?" she asked looking at him.

"I promise," he said after a few moments of silence.

"Thank you," she said before taking a deep breath. "Please be patient. This is the first time I have told this story."

"The room is yours," Clay said sitting back into his chair.

"My fist semester of college, I didn't really talk to anyone. Aside from conversations with my roommate, I was pretty much a loner. I would get up go to class, go to the library, work and sleep. Occasionally my roommate would drag me to a party or an outing, but I was the wallflower in the corner," she started slowly.

"Why would Stahl care about that?" Juice asked softly.

"I am getting there, Juice," she said glancing at him. "By my second semester, my advisor and I had already worked out a plan for me to graduate early. Since most of my general classes were already completed, it wasn't a stretch. I was willing to stay on campus every semester and take courses and push myself to the limit to graduate early on. There was one other student that was following the same plan and she suggested that we meet. His name was Conner Williams," she said as she pulled a photo from her pocket that she had printed out. "He was a year older but had taken a year break before beginning his degree. So, I did as my advisor requested and I offered to meet him for coffee at the campus coffee shop," as she said this, she felt Jax tense up and glance at her. She knew what he was thinking, she had told him she hadn't been with anyone while she wasn't in Charming. But she didn't lie to him, at least, not completely. "We quickly became friends, as we were in every class together, it was simply common sense to help each other achieve our goals. Around the middle of the spring semester, I could tell something was changing with him. He was beginning to act differently towards me. One night while we were in the café, he admitted that he liked me and proceeded to ask me out. I gently declined him. From there, it went downhill," she said looking at Jax. He saw her begin to tense up and gently grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Sorry," she said as she took a deep breath and wiped away a tear from her eye. "He became more and more persistent. He asked every day for weeks, until I finally cracked and agreed to one date. I made him give me his word that we would go on one date and then he would drop it. We went on our date and he was the perfect gentleman. He opened doors, pulled out my chair and paid for everything. That night, he took me back home and walked me to my door. As I unlocked my door, he moved to try and kiss me goodnight. I ducked out from under his arm which is when his true colors began to show. He quickly grabbed me by the arm and pulled me into my dorm, closing and locking the door behind him. He began telling me how I was a tease and that I was leading him or and lying to myself about my feelings for him. When I tried to argue back and tell him to leave my room, he slapped me across the face."

"He did what?!" Chibs said angrily, but Clay gave him a look to shut him up.

"Go on, Scar," Clay said softly.

"The more I tried to fight back, the harder he hit me. Eventually, he broke me, and I agreed to be his girlfriend and to more dates. As the weeks went on, he managed to separate me from my friends completely and the beating continued to get worse," she said as she looked around the room. She could see all of them were stiff and some had their hands clenched into fists. "One night, he came over, determined to sleep with me. Even with all the beatings, I had managed to deny him that and it was not something I would willingly let him take. When I denied him, he beat me to within inches of consciousness. After he left, my neighbor came to check on me. When she saw the state I was in, she didn't even ask, she called 911 and campus security. I was had multiple bruises, a few broken bones in my face and a concussion. I was granted a protection order against him and the school removed him from campus. He was arrested for assault and battery, but his parents bailed him out. Once I was released from the hospital, I returned to my dorm. My neighbor has cleaned the whole place, getting rid of anything that may have reminded me of him. That night, something woke me up from my sleep. I felt like something was not right and I reached for my phone. But a hand grabbed my arm, and before I could scream, there was a hand over my mouth. I didn't even have to look up to know it was him. He whispered in my ear how I was a slut and that if he couldn't have me no one could," she said as tears began to slide down her face. Jax and Opie both stood up. Opie walked around the table to be closer as Jax pulled her into her arms. She moved to be in front of him but kept herself wrapped in his arms and continued.

"He told me that I had made him wait long enough and that he was taking what belonged to him. He told me that if I made any noise that he would cut my throat. He moved to grab rope from his bag, and I used that moment to attempt to get out of the room, but he was quicker. He quickly grabbed me by my hair and threw me on the bed. He tied my hands together and then to the head of my bed. He then put a gag in so I wouldn't scream and began his "fun". He took his knife and used it to cut off every piece of clothes I was wearing, while asking me what he should do to punish me for my little stunt. He kept running his knife along my body as I tried to push him off me with my legs. He asked is he should cut me somewhere, if that would be punishment enough. I tried to plead with him through the gag, but he just grinned and pushed down on the knife cutting into my hip," she said as she pulled up her shirt slightly showing the scar on her hip. "I passed in and out of consciousness. I have flashes of what happened. Flashes of his on top of me, the noises he was making. The things he whispered in my ear before he forced himself inside of me," she said as she completely broke. She couldn't look at them anymore. She tried to move out of Jax's arms, but he held her tightly.

"Breath, Scar. He cannot hurt you anymore," Jax said softly in her ear.

"Jax, let me go. I cannot breathe," she said through her tears as she collapsed complete, pulling Jax to the floor with her.

"Baby girl, look at me." Jax said spinning her around to look at him and holding her face. "This is not you fault. This guy is a scum bag. He deserves to die. He took advantage of you. He forced himself upon her. He is a sick man and you never have to see him again," he said before pulling her into a protective hug. "I am not going to let anything like that ever happen to you again."

"That is the problem," she said through her tears.

"We protect our own and you are the princess," Tig said from his chair, glancing at her.

"What happen to this asshole?" Opie said from behind Jax's chair, gripping onto the back.

"I filed a police report the next morning after he left. He stayed all night. He bandaged my wound and then repeatedly," she said before taking a big breath and continuing, "Repeatedly raped me through the night and into the morning. I also filed a report with the college. He was placed on suspension while the police and the school investigated. A few months later he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for multiple accounts of rape, aggravated assault, battery, assault with a deadly weapon, and attempted manslaughter."

"Well if you were the victim and he is in prison, then how can Stahl use that against you?" Juice said from his seat.

"Stahl told me today, that he has been released early on good behavior and he is looking for me. I imagine he has already been on my campus. If Stahl goes to ask him about me, she will lead him straight to Charming and to my door. She will use him to force the club's hand to protect me and I cannot allow that," she said glancing around at them all.

"That was what you threated Hale about?" Jax said from next to her.

"Yes. A peace order went into effect the moment he stepped foot out of prison. If he violates that order then Hale will have to handle it," she answered looking at him.

"You need to tell Hale about the protection order," Jax said softly.

"I will when I go to the station later," she said shaking her head.

"Wait you aren't seriously going to the station? What if Stahl tries to manipulate you?" Opie said quickly.

"Enough!" Clay said standing. "Scarlett just revealed something major to us. Let us focus on that first. Scar, I am so sorry that this happened to you. We will do everything we can to protect you," Clay said helping her off the ground and pulling her into a hug. "With that, everyone is dismissed."

"Agreed," Jax said pulling her into his arms. "I will meet you on the roof," he whispered into her ear before kissing the side of her head and walking out.

"Come here you," Opie said pulling her into a bear hug. "If you need me to do anything, or even if you want to talk, my door is always open. Donna will understand," he said looking at her. She could see the trace of tears that he had wiped away. One by one, each of the men walked up and gave her a huge hug and words of encouragement.

As the last member exited the room, Clay turned to look at her and spoke to her, "Scar, thank you for trusting us all with this. Do your parents know?"

"They do not. I didn't want to stress them out anymore, but Stahl has told my father something. I will need to tell them soon," she said glancing down at her feet.

"I want you to have someone with you from now on, for protection. If Jax cannot be with you, we will figure it. I might be able to spare Jax to go back with you while you finish your degree," Clay said sternly. "I want this guy to know that you have protection.

"Thank you, Clay. However, Jax has a son now. I cannot just take him for a week or so," she said calmly.

"We will figure everything out," he said before escorting her out of the room.

"Thank you. If you will excuse me, "she said with a smile before walking away towards the ladder for the roof.

"Jax?" she said as she climbed out of the hatch and onto the roof. He didn't answer. He instead grabbed her and pulled her into his arms. They just stood there for awhile in each other's arms.

"I don't want you to go back to college," Jax said after a while.

"I am almost done," she said softly.

"I don't trust this guy. Can't you explain to your teachers and finish it while you are here?" Jax asked taking a step back to look her in the eyes.

"Jax, Clay wants me to take someone back with me for protection. He doesn't want me alone, ever," she said looking him in the eyes.

"I will go," he said quickly, and she smiled.

"Jax, you have a son. He will be coming home soon, and I cannot be the reason you miss that," she answered softly.

"You return at the end of this week. How many weeks are left after this week?" He asked seriously.

"About a week and a half, two weeks," she said seriously.

"I will talk to Tara later about when Abel will be able to come home. I am not letting you out of my sight," he said pulling her close and placing a kiss on her lips.

"Jax, we need to move slow. I am still damaged," she said as she pushed hum back gently and rested her forehead against his.

"We will move at whatever pace you wish," he said softly.

"Thank you," she said as she pulled him in closer and rested her head against his chest. "I still need to go to the station," she said after a few minutes.

"I will take you," Jax said kissing her on the top of her head.

"Can we take my car?" she asked as they walked over to where the ladder was. "It is hard for me to hold on with one good arm," she said as Jax looked at her curiously.

"Yes, we can take your car," Jax said with a laugh as he started down the ladder. Before she reached the bottom, she felt Jax's hands around her waist and lift her off the ladder.

"I can climb down a ladder, Teller," she said in protest.

"I know, but I was making it easier on you," he responded, placing his arm around her. "Let us get you to the station.

They slowly made their way out of the clubhouse and to the police station. When they reached the station, Jax opened the passenger door for Scarlett to exit. She wrapped her hand in his as they walked across the parking lot and into the police station.

"Hi, I am here to see Agent Stahl," she told the officer at the front desk.

"She told me to expect you. She did tell me that anyone who accompanied you would need to wait here though," the officer responded nervously looking at Jax.

"Please remind Agent Stahl that I am here of my own free will and should I not be allowed to have a friend nearby during any conversations, then I will gladly return with a lawyer," she responded, as storm clouds gathered in her eyes.

"Wait here for a moment ma'am," the officer said before disappearing for a few moments. Jax and Scarlett stood there for a few moments looking at each other worriedly.

"Ma'am," the officer said returning. "She said that is ok. Please follow me. I will show you to the interview room," the officer said politely. She smiled at the officer and followed as instructed. When the turned the corner, she stopped dead in her tracks and pulled back on Jax's arm.

"What is wrong?" Jax asked quietly as he saw the look on her face.

"He's here," she said panicked. She could feel her heart rate picking up and her breathing became rapid.

"Who is?" Jax said as he followed her line of vision. Scarlett felt Jax tense up and then he attempted to walk towards the person she was staring at.

"Jax, no. Please don't. Stay here. Stay with me. Protect me," she said through her tears. Jax pulled her into his arms and put her head on his shoulder.

"It is ok, darling," He whispered to her as he looked around for someone.

"Ma'am?" the officer said, as he realized they were no longer following him.

"Find me Chief Deputy Hale, now!" Jax said forcefully, as he kept his back to the rest of the precinct and kept Scar hidden in front of him. The officer disappeared quickly and then returned with Hale.

"Jax, what is going on? What happened to Scar?" Hale said, concern written all over his face.

"Are you aware that there is a recently released felon in your station?" Jax said through gritted teeth.

"You mean the one that is working with Agent Stahl on a case?" Hale asked as he glanced over at Stahl.

"Yes, that one," Jax answered.

"What about him?" Hale asked.

"Did you pull his record and if he had any restraining orders or protective orders in other states and counties?" Jax said aggressively.

"Personally, I did not. Agent Stahl told me everything was in order," Hale responded, taken back a little.

"What is going on over here?" Agent Stahl's voice came, causing Jax to turn around some and reveal Scarlett.

"Scarlett! Nice to see you again," a voice came from behind Stahl.

"Jax, I would like you to meet Conner Williams. He is helping the FBI," she said with a hue grin on her face. "I believe you already know Scarlett."

"I do. We are …. well…. acquainted with each other," Connor said with an evil grin. Scarlett could feel Jax shaking in anger.

"Don't Jax. He isn't worth it," Scarlett said holding his arm.

"Will someone fill me in?" Hale said from the sidelines.

"Chief Deputy Hale allow me to introduce my abusive-rapist-ex-boyfriend, who attempted to kill me," Scarlett said stepping between Conner and Jax. Jax possessively placed his arms around her waist and pulled her backwards some, so that she was against his body.

"Ah, I see you still have your mouth," Conner said with a smirk.

"Ah, I see you have forgotten that there is still a protection order. Hale, please arrest this man. He is in violation of a protection order and I do not feel safe with him in Charming," Scarlett said sharply.

"Yes, ma'am," Hale said as he took out his handcuffs and crossed to Conner. "Please place your hands behind your back." As Hale led him away past Scarlett, Conner leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I see you are still a biker whore and that you still have quite a mouth on you. I guess I will need to teach you another lesson. Perhaps it needs to be more severe punishment."

"I would like to see you attempt to touch her. As long as SAMCRO is around, you will have mountains to move to even breath the same air as her," Jax growled at him.

"Officer take this man to holding. You two, in that room, now," Hale said pointing to a conference room. Jax and Scarlett walked quickly to the conference

"Now, will someone please tell me what the hell just happened?" Hale asked after he had closed the door. Scarlett glanced at Jax, and he instantly read her mind. She was exhausted after seeing Connor and having told this story once.

"Do you want the CliffsNotes or the full story?" Jax asked Hale.

"CliffsNotes version is fine," he responded as he sat in the chair opposite of them.

"Long story short. He was a college friend of Scar's. He wanted to date her, she didn't want to. He bugged her until she agreed but then on the first date, he hit her and called her a slut. He continued to beat her. One night he beat her because she kept refusing to sleep with him. It was so bad she ended up in the hospital and she pressed charges. Once she was released from the hospital, he attacked her again. He cut her with a knife on her hip after cutting all her clothes off. He then proceeded to rape her all night and into most the morning," Jax said quickly.

"Why isn't he in jail?" Hale asked.

"He was. Stahl told me this morning that he was released on good behavior," Scarlett said weakly.

"But why is he here?" Hale asked.

"He wants to finish what he started. He couldn't find me on campus, so I guess Stahl gave him a boost. He just told me I was still a biker whore with a smart mouth that hasn't learned her lesson and that his punishments would need to be more severe," Scarlett said as she moved closer to Jax.

"Why would Stahl be helping a felon?" Hale asked.

"Because she thinks that she can use the threat of him to force me to reveal things about the club. Hale let me tell you. I know nothing about the club except that they are a motorcycle club," Scar said looking at him.

"Scar, I will not let him hurt you not in my district. I will have him driven from Charming with a promise of him returning to jail should he violate the protection order," Hale responded looking at her, but a knock at the window distracted them all. They all looked up to see Connor standing there waiving at them.

"You were saying Hale?" Jax said angrily. "If you cannot keep him contained and he comes after Scar, SAMCRO will defend her."

"How the hell?" Hale asked as he stared at Connor through the glass. "Jax, take her out the back. I will deal with him."

Jax nodded and helped Scarlett from her seat before taking the back exit.

"Did you see his eyes Jax?" she asked in a daze.

"What about them?" Jax asked.

"They were dark and cold. He was smirking at me to tell me that this isn't over. He is coming for me one way or another and I will not survive this time," she said as she leaned against the wall.

"Hey," Jax said gently as he placed his arms on either side of her. "I will not let anything happen to you. You are my girl and I will be damned if I am going to let that sicko lay another hand on you." Scarlett simply looked at Jax in admiration before wrapping her arms around him and holding on to him tightly.

"Come on," Jax said after a few moments.

"Where are we going?" she asked nervously.

"We are back to the club. Let Connor come looking for you tonight. He won't get past the front gate to the clubhouse. Plus, Happy is back. Between him and Tig, Connor hasn't got a prayer," Jax said as he kissed the top of her head and lead her out of the police station.
