Status update! Because this is like my diary—and Facebook, because I live in China and China has...blocked Facebook (why you do dis China?) And you should all know that I am in fact doing this instead of studying for a quiz tomorrow which I have no idea about. Don't I love you guys? You should feel very loved now.
SO! #1, Hotaru and Nonoko have left the SWAN group. Nonoko because Natsume fired her claiming she doesn't do work (which I actually agreed with because she really doesn't do work...but she was really pissed about it and I pretended I didn't know anything :P), and Hotaru because she got hella pissed at him.
So, Hotaru is in charge of fashion, along with two other college girls who I believe don't live in the same city as us. The two girls were on their vacation and went back home or something, so getting him the clothes would be impossible, and so he pressed Hotaru to deal with it herself, but she doesn't know anything since the college girls were doing the shopping and stuff. So then they got into an argument and he just threw all responsibility onto her so she quit. I'm completely on her side, and I even helped her write up an awesome argument. She was saying how he was an irresponsible director and how he doesn't even do anything, just giving all his work to me and the assistant director. He replied with something along the lines of 'how the hell am I an irresponsible director? I would've been able to do all of the other's work by myself as well as getting the funds we need, etc.'
I, of course, came up with literally paragraphs to counteract honestly I don't remember what I wrote, I just remember I had like 10+ reasons as to why he's a douche and why Hotaru is right (though I said it in a very sophisticated way. Psh, I ain't a troll like him.) He was silent for a long while before simply answering with a 'just give me the actors' measurements.' Hotaru was so pissed that time and told me she really didn't want to give it to him, and told him to just measure the actors himself. I wrote that to him using her phone. And guess what? I pwned him so badly that he simply replied with a 'please, just give me the measurements then you can quit.' She finally agreed.
#2. This is a while after they left the group, but we basically finished filming the SWAN, we just need to edit it. I wasn't there for any of the filming days and I don't edit, so I'm not so sure how they're going, but the guy in charge said that they had A LOT to change and he sent the link to the video onto our Wechat group. I watched it, and the female protagonist could barely be heard because apparently one of their mics were broken that day, so we may need to voice over and some shots have to be reshot, and there were a few points that didn't make sense so we need to add some more dialogues explaining why, etc. Gosh, I really don't know how they're going to get it done, and I believe the deadline is this Friday or something. If we can't finish by Friday we have to be disqualified. I poured so much cash into this project too! My family and I were one of the big donators! Grrr!
But let's get onto the more positive news.
#3. I WON SECOND PLACE IN THE SHORT STORY COMPETITION!
Granted, it's not first but heck, who cares? No need to be greedy, right? Second place on my first try! I'm so happy! I even got money for it (and it's actually quite a lot for a 15 year old like me), a certificate, as well as a book with all the winning stories. And, as promised in my previous chapter, I will post this story here. SO PLEASE GO TO MY PROFILE AND LOOK FOR THE STORY TITLED 'Spirit of the Sakura Tree!'
P.S, there's actually a really HORRIFYING grammatical error that I only noticed once I submitted, but both my English teacher and I didn't notice until I showed it to my mom who went like 'what the hell is that?' and kept bringing it up whenever she's teasing me -.-''' I honestly think that not even the judge noticed it.
PLEASE READ IT AND GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACKS BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL LOVELY PEOPLE AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE ME SMILE WHICH IS A WONDERFUL THING SO DO IT!
Please.
Thank you.
And that's it for now.
