Richard remained seated on the couch, still holding his head, and unaffected by what was happening. Mark, Jen, and Connie crawled to and held onto each other tightly. And then, everything came to a sudden halt.

Connie was the first to speak up, "Was that an earthquake?".

"Guessssssss again." A snakely voice answered, just a few feet away.

Jen gasped. She, of course, recognized it immediately.
"Oh my god - the demon!"

"Good to sssssee you again too, dear..."
A sudden burst of energy sent the three of them flying in separate directions and crashing against walls.

"Don't I get a thanksssss for reuniting you with your old friend over there?" The invisible demon asked, sarcastically, referring to the officer. "It occurred to me today that sssomething was off. And then I realizzzed I'd been played. Richie.. you pesssky fool. I bet you thought you were clever setting up that block to make usss think Henry had Jennifer. I can feel that you're weakening though. Henry will be back sssoon. AAHAHAHAHAAA..."

Richard didn't respond. He probably didn't even hear anything the demon said.
He just continued to sit on the couch and groan, holding his head and yelling out in agony as the pain suddenly increased.

"Rich!" Connie shouted out in concern, "Hang in there! Fight! Don't let him back in control!"

"He'sss weakening, and our boy is on hisss way back. There's nothing any of you can do... it's almossst done."

"The HELL it is!" Mark protested and jumped to his feet, attempting to make a dash for the couch, but the demon quickly shut that plan down by sending him crashing back against the wall and pinning him there.

"Pathetic idiot. Now, let'sss continue..."
The demon's blood-red eyes finally appeared, hovering a few feet above Jen now,
"Hey, you don't look ssso well, Jennifer. Are you sick? What a ssshame..."

"What are you-..."
But before she could finish her sentence, Jen collapsed forward onto her hands and knees, retching and vomiting up black slime, uncontrollably.
And then, at the sound of fingers snapping, Connie fell and began to vomit too.

"Uh-oh. Mussst be contagiousss."

"Stop it!" Mark screamed, fighting to move, as the demon laughed.

"I'm still waiting for my thanksss, Jennifer. Don't I get one?"
The demon teased, as if he expected to get a response from her during this ordeal,
"No? Well, okay then. If thisss is how it mussst be..."

Fingers snapped again and the vomiting ceased.
The girls fought to catch their breath as the officer's unconscious body levitated and drifted over to a spot that was in the dead center of the three of them. "When I finally noticed there was a block, I had to get someone connected to your passst in order to find you. And sssince your parents are already dead..." The demon paused to fake a sobbing noise, "...thisss fool was my only option. And by the way, there'sss more to the story about your parentsss, Jennifer. Would you like to hear it?"

Jen sat up and leaned herself back against a wall, wiping away some of the slime that was oozing down her chin, "I'm pretty sure I wouldn't, but you're just going to say it anyway, so go ahead then."

"Don't listen to him Jen, it'll just be some lies to mess with your head." Mark spat.

Ignoring Mark's comment, the demon happily continued,
"Henry. Henry killed your parents."

"No. No, m-my parents died in a car accident..."

"Arranged by Henry." The demon finished.

"No..."

The room was quiet as Jen pondered how that'd even be possible, and then looked to Mark as if for reassurance that it couldn't be true. But Mark said nothing. He had seen first-hand how Henry could cause something like that. Something so horrific and tragic. He was beginning to believe it himself.

The demon chuckled, "Henry doesn't get to have ALL the fun though. Say goodbye."

The officer's floating body lowered slightly and then EXPLODED, dousing them and the surrounding area in blood and guts, as well as raining limb fragments all over the place. And what remained of his clothing was so blood-drenched, it was hard to tell apart from chunks of flesh which littered the room. Jen had shielded herself from being hit in the face by a foot and was now frozen in shock, staring wide-eyed at it laying next to her on the floor.

"Oh, sssshoot. I guess someone missssed the party."

Connie. She was gone.
She had vanished just before the horror.

"What the FUCK?! What've you done?! Where's Connie?!"
Mark screamed.

"Don't you worry. You'll be nexxxt after I take care of one more tassssk..."

"I fucking swear to god, if you've hurt-" Mark had begun, but his words were interrupted by an agonizing scream.

Jen had been broken out of her shock by a set of claws slashing her deeply across the stomach and she slumped back against a wall, bleeding heavily. Her breathing labored and she began to lose consciousness quickly. "NOOO!" Mark wailed, and tried his best again to move, but he was still being pinned and could do nothing but watch.

Suddenly, Richard sat upright and screeched, "GOT IT! I'VE GOT IT!"
The demon growled and headed in his direction, but Richard collapsed off of the couch and onto the floor before the demon could reach him, "Heh. Fool. You've got nothing. You'll be gone ssssoon."

A tear slid down Mark's cheek as he stayed focused on Jen, who lay there in a pool of her own blood and had now almost completely stopped breathing, "Please."

"Pleasssse." The demon laughed, mocking him, "If it's any consssolation, you're about to be reunited."

However, before the demon could make any sort of move, the room filled with a blinding white light.
Mark squeezed his eyes shut and heard the demon cry out. "NOOOO! HOW- HOW IS THISSS POSSIBLE?!"

When the light died out, Mark was released and fell to the floor on his hands and knees.
A familiar pair of feet stepped up and stood in front of him. As he looked up, his eyes widened, "Jen?"

She shook her head.

"Oh my god... C-Castiel?"

This time, the response was met with a nod.

.End of chapter.

AUTHOR'S NOTE-
I struggled with this chapter for SO long! It's such a relief to have it finished. I hope you enjoyed it. I recently had my heart broken and, to be honest, I don't think I could have gotten this chapter done if that hadn't happened to me. Sometimes I can use my emotions to get determined and finish things, if that makes sense. I don't want to give away too much that will come in the next chapter, but WILL say the ending of this is inspired by one of my favorite Supernatural episodes. The beginning of season 9, when Gadreel possesses Sam to help him heal. That's what I'm doing here. Castiel is in Jen to help her heal up. Okay, I'm not sure what else to say, so bye. Thank you, and have a great day!
