Part 20: Third Year- November and December

Remus Lupin and Sirius Black watched as a distressed Severus ran past their hiding stop on the verge of tears. Now they were angry but for a totally different reason. They should have never assumed the worst in Severus. He was a kind-hearted boy with a tragic past and they had been stupid enough to believe for even a second that Severus would betray them. Lucius was going to pay. For now they would let the evil blonde go. They waited for the manipulative Slytherin to go before finally coming out. They would head to the common room and put Severus's mind at easy. He must be feeling like shit, believing that everyone was against him. Making their way to the Fat Lady they gave her the password and entered. Lily looked thunderous, even James looked pissed.

"What did you two do?" Lily roared.

"Now wait, it wasn't us. Malfoy got to him before we could." Remus said quickly.

"What, that loathsome evil little cockroach. What did he do?" James hissed. Sirius and Remus pulled them to an empty corner, aware that they were making a spectacle. They told James and Lily what they had seen and hears. By the end both Lily and James were fuming.

All four of them made their way to the four male Marauders dormitories where Severus had shut himself in. He came into the common room in tears, not looking at anybody, ignoring everyone's voices of concern, and shutting himself away.

"Severus, Remus and Sirius are here, we all want to talk with you." Severus had spelled the door shut. She could undo it with a simple spell but she respected Severus's need for privacy.

"No, go away."

"Severus, we saw what happened with you and Malfoy. We don't blame you though; it was that asshole's fault for forcing himself on you. We stayed around, we heard what he said. We know you didn't do it to hurt us." Sirius pleaded. Lily heard the door click open. She twisted the once locked knob and the door opened. They came inside and what they saw broke their hearts. Severus was standing there with tears falling from his eyes. He looked shattered and broken and Lily felt hatred bubble up inside her. What was that Malfoy's problem? Why did they always go after Severus? Why was it always him that got beaten and abused? Nothing was ever easy for her friend. He was the nicest person she ever knew; with a kind and open heart, yet he was treated so badly. He didn't deserve that.

Lily couldn't stop the urge to hug her emotional injured friend. James, Sirius and Remus joined in.

"Yo-you guys don't t-think I'm disgusting?" Severus asked meekly.

"No way, if anyone is then its Malfoy who is disgusting. How dare he do that to you." Remus growled. Severus hiccupped. A fresh new wave of tears started coming, however for an entirely different reason.

"You guys are the best." They soon parted and Severus went to go sit on his bed. Sirius closed the door and got comfy on his bed. Lily went to sit down next to Severus, wrapping him in her arms, rubbing his back to help Severus calm down some.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Lily questioned softly. Severus shook his head in the negative.

"Are you sure, it makes things better to talk about it."

"I'm sure Lily, I'm just happy that you all still like me and that Malfoy's trick didn't work. It just sucks that he was my first kiss." Remus and Sirius both wanted to say that they should have been the raven's first kiss but they both quickly shut their mouths. They knew that kind of statement wouldn't be very appreciated at this time, or any other.

"He was not your first kiss Sev, a kiss is an act of love between two participates therefore that wasn't your first kiss but a forcing of mouths together." Lily soothed. Severus smiled, that did make him feel slightly better but not totally.

Severus was finally sound asleep after all his crying. Sirius couldn't help but smile softly at the small male from time to time. He knew Remus was probably doing the same thing but surprisingly he didn't care anymore. No one knew how but after Severus went to sleep everything felt normal again, like the past couple of weeks hadn't occurred. It first started with Remus congratulating Sirius on his position as Gryffindor Beater. Three weeks ago had been Quidditch tryouts and Sirius became Beater but only James and Lily had congratulated him. Severus had sent him a small smile when he returned from tryouts with the news, since Severus wasn't in speaking terms with him and Remus. Hearing Remus finally applaud him for finally attaining his goal of Beater had somehow settled the rift between them. Sirius had smiled and offered Remus to a game of Wizards Chess. James and Lily were happy to see their friends acting like themselves again and they knew that Severus would be equally so. Dinner arrived and James offered to go down to the kitchens and ask the house elves if they could have some food to eat in their rooms. Lily asked to go to, knowing that Remus and Sirius needed some alone time to apologize to one another. Sending the two boys one last meaningful look that promised hell if she came back and this wasn't properly resolved, Lily left with James.

"Sometimes Lily scares the crap out of me." Sirius remarked.

Remus snickered. "Sort of like a stern mother." Sirius laughed, he could definitely imagine Lily as a mother, a hand on her hip and a rolling pin held threateningly high. Strangely he saw James there with his hands held in a pleading gesture, most likely having done something stupid.

"I'm really sorry for how I acted."

"Me too Rem"

"I was an ass."

"As was I. Don't worry about it."

"You still like Severus however."

"I am sure you do as well."

"Nothings going to stop me from doing so."

"Me neither."

"So how about we remain friends and let Severus decided which one of us he likes."

"Sounds fair. Though you know something. Severus never told of if he's gay, we just assumed."

"You're right, how do we even know if we have a shot?"

"Exactly. Maybe we should ask him when he wakes?"

"I'm already awake." Severus's hoarse voice says. Remus and Sirius jerk their heads in the direction of the voice to see Severus sitting up, eyes still puffy and red, though he wore a smile on his face.

"It really took Malfoy kissing me to finally make you see that I didn't like you two fighting. If I do fall for one of you it will be because of your personalities not for how hard you try to beat the other. This isn't a race and I am definitely not a prize. You weren't treating me like a human being and that hurt. More than words could say."

"I am really sorry Severus, I never meant to hurt you." Remus stated.

"Me neither. I am so sorry for the way I acted." Severus grinned happily before jumping of the bed and tackling the two boys. The chessboard was knocked onto the floor as all three of them fell on the bed. Remus and Sirius couldn't help but laugh. Severus giggled. They soon righted themselves up.

"You're both idiots but I forgive you." Severus states before giving Remus and Sirius a kiss on the cheek. That brought them back to their current question, whether or not Severus was gay.

Severus smiled cheekily, almost as if he could read their thoughts. "I have never thought about it before. Honestly I think I'm a bit too young, but if I had to say then I guess I would be gay or maybe even bi. But for right now I am not looking for a relationship. Try again in a few years." Remus and Sirius nodded, respecting their little friends wishes.

"Alight, that just leaves on problem." Sirius stated.

"What?" Severus asked confused.

"How are we going to prank Malfoy? There is no way in hell we'll be letting him get away scot-free."

"I agree, what do you propose Siri?" James asked. All three boys looked to the open door where a grinning James was standing with food in his arms. Lily was behind him with more food in her arms.

"The house elves were very giving, we don't need all this but they insisted."

Sitting down to eat the five Marauders came up with a devilish plan. By the end Lucius would be too afraid to leave his dormitories. It would take two months to prepare. The potions Severus had to make were extremely complicated. Not only that but time consuming. Severus wouldn't be able to make them had Remus not let the Marauders use his time turner. James and Sirius were a little upset that Remus didn't tell them about it, but Remus did have a good point on why he didn't. They likely would have used it for some scheming pranks. However for this prank Remus was willing to allow them to use it. This prank would only be possible to pull off with the time turner. With the plan out of the way the Marauders felt at peace again. The fact that their once happy group could have been shattered didn't matter anymore. They were together now and that was all that mattered; that and getting revenge on Lucius Malfoy.

A month passed and Winter Break was tomorrow. The Marauders were quite happy with how they handled things. The next morning when they came down for breakfast as a unit instead of separately the look on Malfoy's face was priceless. His big mouth was agape and he looked positively stunned. As they passed the Slytherine table, Sirius couldn't help making a comment about catching flies and Malfoy immediately closed him mouth with a glare. Lucius looked murderous. Probably wondering where he went wrong. How he messed up such a brilliantly executed plan. The Marauders had a laugh at the dumb blondes expense. They knew that Malfoy expected some kind of retribution but since the Marauders plan wasn't ready yet they just watched Malfoy squirm. It was fun watching the once proud pureblood test his food for traps of send of one of his minions to look around a corner and search for anything that may damage his reputation and pride. Malfoy was becoming more skittish by the day and the Marauders were enjoying every minute of it, even kindhearted Lily and Severus were laughing with mirth. They knew that Malfoy was looking forward to the break; nothing could happen to him there, or at least that is what he thinks. Remus had the brilliant plan of inserting a dung bomb into the Slytherins suitcase with the help of his trusty time turner. They cracked themselves into a coma with the image of the super charged and long lasting dung bomb going off in the Malfoy's residence, stinking the place from head to toe. Merry Christmas.

The next day arrived and many of the students took the Hogwarts Express home. There were only the Marauders, five Ravenclaw, two Huffelpuffs and one Slytherin left. The Winter Days were spent focusing on the prank ahead. Severus was rarely seen as all his time was either spent doing homework or creating the potion that would ruin Malfoy. Lily, James and Sirius were beginning on their Animagus training, though it was only reading the large tome. They had coerced one of the house elves into telling them about a room that they could use without being caught. The Room of Requirement was perfect for what they wanted to do. Severus was unfortunately not able to start as he had the to do the potion, but he already attempted the first part on his own way before the others, so Severus had insisted that they start without him so they could catch up. Remus helped Severus with the potion as much as he could. He was good at potions but no one could ever be as amazing as Severus, but he did adore these moments alone.

Part 21: Third Year- January and February

Christmas came and went. The Marauders spent it together, opening presents and enjoying each other's company. Several more days past and New Years Eve also came and went, starting the year 1974. The students would soon be returning to eventually and classes would once again be resuming. When Lucius Malfoy came back he looked murderous.

"I hope you find yourselves amusing because I can assure you that my family and I do not." Lucius hissed. The Marauders just laughed their butts off while Malfoy stormed away, the lingering stink of the dung bomb following behind him. After that initially meeting the blonde no longer tested his food or sent minions out to check around corners. It seemed that Lucius thought that dung bomb was the prank he had been waiting for and that he no longer need to look out as much as he did before. If only he knew what they had in mind then he would forever be sleeping with one eye open and looking over his shoulder.

By January 20th the potion was complete. Severus had cackled evilly when the concoction went from virgin white to a passionate red. Lily and Remus looked in both awe and fear while James and Sirius had twin Cheshire cat grins. Severus pulled out a muggle syringe and filled it with the red liquid. On the lab bench next to Severus and open box of chocolate is a heart shaped container. He filled all of them with one syringe full of liquid, adding the red potion into the already red strawberry jam center. Once he was done Severus preformed a complex stasis charm to keep the chocolates and potion from ageing. Now all they had do now was wait until Valentines Day which was only less than a month away. They had waited this long, they could wait some more. In the meantime Severus joined James, Lily and Sirius in their Animagus training. By now all of them had been taken the potion that James and Sirius had bought with their copious amount of galleons. Everyone was a four-legged creature; James and Lily having tall thin legs with hooves while Sirius and Severus were closer to the ground and had paws. James and Lily made snorting sounds while Sirius barked and Severus yipped. James and Lily still didn't know what they were, but Sirius believed himself to be a dog, while Severus had turned around and spotted a thick flush bushy tail. He was convinced that he was a fox. After a few more potion induced dreams, James and Lily finally realized what they were. James was a stag and Lily a doe.

February 14th arrived and the school was once again decorated in hearts and flowers. The whole school was a buzz with activity. Lily would have gotten caught up in the holiday if she didn't have the plan to be thinking of. Getting revenge on Lucius Malfoy was much more important than a trivial holiday that happened once every year. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and Lily wanted front row seats. Remus, Sirius, James and Severus had used the time turner to go back in time a couple of hours to set up the box of chocolate. They set the box in the kitchen with the house elves, Lucius's name clearly written in extremely girly handwriting and sprayed with a bit of perfume. The Marauders spent all day around McGonagall, to add evidence that they had been within sight all day long and that it couldn't have possibly been them. It was lunch now and Lily sat with her friends, all of them facing the Slytherin table, waiting for one of the house-elves to pop in and deliver the spiked box of chocolates.

Soon enough a house-elf did appear in front of the Malfoy heir with a mysterious heart-shaped box. Lucius smirked with smugness as he took the box. Other Slytherins were watching the blonde with distaste, obviously some of them peeved that Lucius had gotten chocolates from some woman and they hadn't. Pettigrew, much to the amusement of the Marauders, was sulking. He was glaring at Mulciber and Avery, both of them showing off their luck with the ladies, which came in the form of love letters and boxes of chocolates. The Marauders turned back to Lucius, he was currently eating the chocolates one by one, eating them as fast as he could while also looking elegant and poised doing so. The effects weren't immediate, but they would be coming on soon. Once lunch was over everyone started to get up. When Lucius gracefully rose from his seat, he started feeling hot. Sirius smirked evilly before calling out, "Hey Malfoy, what have you been thinking about?" Everyone turned to stare at the Ice Prince. Lucius looked confused and tried to sneer, but then the entire hall started pointing and laughing. Suddenly feeling nervous, Malfoy slowly looked down, turning mortified when he saw the bulge showing through his pants.

Lucius turned a blotchy shade of red.

"Wow, there's a snake on the lose, though don't worry it's too small to hurt anyone." James jeered. The whole hall's laughter got louder. The teachers were horrified by what they were seeing. Slughorn's face was going purple and a large ugly vein was throbbing on his forehead. Just then Filch entered, opening his mouth to speak before he caught sight of what was transpiring.

"How disgusting." Filch hissed and every student who wasn't laughing before definitely was now.

"Argus, what is that you need?" Albus asked with a sigh.

"Some one set off dung bombs in the Slytherin dorm. I'll try to get the dungeons fumigated but I would appreciate it if you could close off the area so students can't interrupt my work."

"Of course Argus, it would be a hassle to find the Slytherins other sleeping accommodations, so take all the precautions you need."

"Thank you Headmaster." Filch offered before making his way out of the Great Hall, Ms. Norris following behind.

The Marauders internally grinned. They had set up those dung bombs. This was to keep Malfoy from running away to the dungeons and hide away. They wanted to draw out his humiliation and they couldn't do that if he locked himself in his room until the potion exited his system. Now they only places he could find relief were in the bathrooms and even there he wasn't guaranteed privacy. He could try Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, but the pervy ghost would see to it that he wouldn't go there either. Malfoy would have to walk around all day with a hard on for the next eight hours. Even if he did manage to wank off he would still be hard. There was no way out of it and the Marauders were going to milk this for all it was worth. Malfoy will learn not to mess with the Marauders.

Since it was a Monday, they had Transfiguration next. All throughout the day the Marauders heard about Malfoy's embarrassment. Like when he showed up to potions and the whole class went into whistle and catcalls. The seventh year Gryffindors were relentless. They knew nothing about the prank but they would never let such an opportunity pass. They laughed so hard when one of the seventh years told them that they had sent Malfoy crude messages. Their best was a drawing of Malfoy trying to stick it into a girl and the girl replying that he can start whenever he's ready. The Marauders were slightly put off that they couldn't have been there to see the look of both mortification and anger on the blonde's usually stoic face. When potion had ended and Slughorn saw that Malfoy was still hard, he deducted 20 points from Slytherin for indecency. One of the female seventh year Gryffindors caught a picture of the Malfoy heir wanking off in the girl's restroom on the second floor. She used the Gemino curse to duplicate the pictures and sell them out. Of course McGonagall got wind of what was going on and confiscated the moving pictures, although a few managed to slip away undetected. Transfiguration for the Malfoy heir was just as embarrassing as potions and McGonagall deducted 30 points for indecency and said that if he didn't fix his problem by dinner then he would be serving detention for a week.

After the Marauders last class of the day, Charms, the five of them headed to the library. It may have been Valentines Day but that didn't keep the teachers from assigning homework.

"Today has been a fantastic day." Severus hummed. They all shared a secret smirk and silently agreed with Severus.

"Sucks that the teachers are giving us homework. Don't they know that today is the day of love?" James stated, wiggling his eyebrows at Lily, making the girl break out into giggles.

"They do know that today is Valentines Day, they just don't care. At least they are getting into the spirit with desert. It's going to be a whole lot of chocolate. I saw the house-elves preparing all sorts of chocolate goodies." Remus replied, rubbing his stomach, drooling slightly at the thought of chocolate. Oh how he loved chocolate.

"I'm going to gorge myself on sweets tonight." Severus laughed happily.

"That and we get to watch Malfoy squirm." Sirius stated with perverse glee. They arrived at the library, nodding to Madam Pince, letting her know that they were there. Taking a seat they started on all the homework that the professor's had assigned.

Half an hour later Sirius, James and Remus headed back to the common room, where the tampered box of chocolates was hidden in Remus's trunk. They were going to use the time turner to go back in time to before lunch and sneak the box into the kitchens for the house elves to use. Five minutes later the trio returned with smug smirks. Madam Pince eyed them with disinterest, thinking that they had probably gone to the bathroom. Not that they had just used a time turner to humiliate a certain blonde haired someone. Twenty more minutes of looking for books and writing information down it was finally time for dinner, something they were looking forward to. They entered the Great Hall and sat in their usual seat, facing the Slytherin table and filling their plates with the wonderful food.

They spotted Lucius Malfoy. Everyone was laughing and pointing. People were shouting out vulgar jokes. Professor McGonagall and Slughorn looked beyond livid, having warned Malfoy that this kind of behavior wasn't tolerated. The Malfoy heir sat down with a groan, his trousers rubbing him the wrong way. He froze as some girls giggled next to him. His day couldn't have gotten any worse. Lucius didn't know what was wrong but no matter what he did, this erection just wasn't going away. He had tried to wank, but only twice. He didn't want a repeat of the picture incident. He was lucky McGonagall was there to confiscate them but he had a feeling not all of them had been taken and a simple Gemino curse would see to it that more were made. On top of that McGonagall had given him detention tonight. The transfiguration teacher had stated that the prospect of helping Slughorn chop up some gonads from blast-ended skrewts would relieve Malfoy of his problem. For some reason Lucius wasn't sure that would even work.

"Mr. Malfoy, it seemed that even the prospect of chopping up gonads hasn't done anything to help. I am starting to think that this isn't your own doing. Have you eaten anything today that may have been spiked?" Professor McGonagall asked. Minerva had had enough of this tomfoolery. She had at first played it off to teenage hormones, but now, after speaking with Slughorn, believed it might be of another cause. Lucius paled at what she implied and immediately thought of the chocolates a house-elf had given him, stating that it was addressed to him.

"Slughorn will take you to his office after dinner to treat you for… unfortunate affliction." Lucius turned pink in embarrassment at her wording as many girls around him giggled while the guys grinned in amusement. Even if he did fix this no one was going to let him forget this. They were going to hold this over there heads forever. Lucius glanced to the Gryffindor table and glared at the smug looks on the Marauders faces. He had an idea who may have done this; he wasn't going to let them get away with degrading the heir of Malfoy.

"I also will not expect you at tonight's detention." McGonagall finished her speech and went to go sit down at the Head Table. The rest of the Hall returned to their dinner. After the great meal, chocolates and brightly wrapped sweets appeared on the table. Dumbeldore got up and made a speech about the power of love and that he hoped that everyone experienced the wonderful feeling. The old man sat back down with a happy smile and twinkling eyes as the rest of the students started to dig in. The Marauders went wild on the candy; even well mannered Lily, Severus and Remus ate like their lives depended on it. Soon everyone was full and groaning about upset tummies; a side-affect of eating too many sweets, too fast. The Great Hall started to thin out. Malfoy quickly got out, flushing red as everyone laughed and pointed, a flustered Slughorn following behind. The Marauders laughed until they couldn't any more. This had to be their most brilliant plan ever constructed.

The rest of February went on as normal, however, wherever Malfoy went people secretly, or tried to secretly laugh at the Malfoy heir. Nobody forgot about what happened that Valentine's Day. Malfoy had been treated for a potion that caused a long lasting erection if taken in large amounts. Of course when interrogate by McGonagall Lucius had instigated that the Marauders were behind this, but McGonagall had said that it wouldn't be possible. It would take someone with a high knowledge of potion and even if Severus could have brewed it, he would need more time than his studies would allow him to have. They hadn't bought it because potion like that weren't sold to underage wizards. McGonagall also stated that she had seen the Marauders all day that day when they weren't in classes and they would have had no time to place the box of chocolates in the kitchen for the house-elves to find. Lucius had been pissed off when he couldn't place the blame on the Marauders, even though he knew it was them, it had to be. They had pulled it off somehow, but they had apparently covered their tracks perfectly well. Lucius had asked McGonagall to question them with Veritaserum but the elder woman said that the incident last year had forced them to use such measures, but this was an entirely different situation and using the truth serum in this case would be forbidden. Minerva let Malfoy leave, promising that they would look into it as much as possible. The teacher came back empty handed and soon enough forgot about the whole thing. It was just a harmless prank anyways. The Marauders couldn't be more proud of themselves. They had set out to do what they intended. Lucius spent more time hiding out in the common room nowadays, trying to avoid the mocking looks and the occasional jeers. They had finally gotten the Malfoy heir off their backs. They no longer had to worry about Malfoy and his posse and since this was his last year they wouldn't have to take any more shit form the stuck up blonde.

Authors note: Another chapter done, please review. The more reviews the faster I go, they give me the inspiration to keep writing. I am leaning more towards Sirius/Severus and Remus/Regulus but I may still do Remus/Severus. Whichever pair I don't do I will write them a one-shot. Other than that I am glad that so many of you reviewed and are staying on with my story. There was a lot of drama last chapter and I have never been good at writing scenes like that so I apologize if it felt or was worded weirdly. It was tough remembering what I had previously written and to continue after such a long period of time. I'll try to update as soon as I can.
