Well here we are. The final chapter of How it all began. I can't believe it's one completed story now. This is the longest and most detailed story I have ever written and actually went through with. I love this baby of mine and I hope you have all enjoyed the very long ride and journey this has been.

A big thanks to everyone who has reviewed/faved/followed this story. It means a lot to me that you guys have stuck with me through this story.

As normal I do not own Sailor Moon but I do own every non canon name/planet that is mentioned/used in this story.

Enjoy the final chapter!

"Kunzite!" Miranda sobbed as she stumbled to her feet and ran over to Kunzite. Kunzite barely caught her as she crashed into him. "I was so worried you were gone!" She cried into his chest. Something inside her screamed that something was wrong when he didn't wrap his arms around her within the minute but she let it go when he did.

"I'm fine." Miranda frowned at his tone of voice but she put it down to the fighting.

"Are you sure?" Miranda asked as she stepped back. Before Kunzite would have kissed her or hugged her with a bit more feeling but before her was a cold man. The man she met before he changed.

"I am sure." He said. His eyes flicked over to the dead prince and princess. Miranda frowned when she saw nothing in his eyes. He loved Endymion like a brother. His death must have hurt him. "Are you alright?" His voice turned warm making Miranda smile lightly. She leaned into his arms and inhaled a few shaky breaths.

"Everyone is dead now." She whispered in pain. The pain of losing her fellow guardians was hard but seeing her cousin and princess lying there on the ground with her husband and unborn child inside her was too much for her to bear.

"I know. It is part of the whole plan." Kunzite hid the smirk at Miranda's small sob.

"Demetrius has lost it." She whispered. Kunzite tightened his hold around her slightly. Miranda gasped lightly but said nothing as he held her. Without second to waste, Kunzite pulled out a stunning small silver dagger.

Miranda held in a scream of pain as something sharp pierced her body. Looking up into Kunzite's eyes she saw nothing. No love, no pain. Nothing.

"Why?" She whispered as he pulled out the dagger. "You betrayed us."

"And like your fellow guardians, you are stupid for trusting us." He smirked as she staggered back.

"You bastard." She hissed as she pulled out her sword from her side. She charged at him despite the pain she was in. Kunzite gasped as he barely had time to move out of the way. Her sword pierced through his stomach as she pulled him down to her level. "Rot in hell you traitor." Miranda pushed her sword deeper in causing it to hit his heart. She pulled her sword out and fell to the ground as Kunzite fell down. "I wish I never met you." She whispered as she closed her eyes. "I will never love again." Darkness covered her vision as she heard someone laugh.

Demetrius chuckled deeply as he looked over the dead forms of Kunzite and Miranda. Well the man Miranda thought was Kunzite. He frowned as he walked over to his daughter and knelt down by her side.

"Oh my precious little girl. You have been wronged in so many ways." Demetrius sighed as he moved some of Serenity's hair that was covered in dried blood from her face. "

"Step the hell away from my daughter." Demetrius rolled his eyes at the sound of Kiran's voice.

"And why should I? My blood runs through her veins, well it did before she was murdered." Demetrius sighed. "And to think I was going to be a grandfather as well."

"No! You are not her father." Kiran hissed as Demetrius stood up. He smirked as he disappeared from sight making Kiran frown deeply. He ran back to the battle field where everyone was still fighting. Endymion had been killed by Demetrius the same time as his son and Serenity.

"Miss me?" Demetrius taunted. Kiran raised his sword and took a battle stand. "So be it."

Selenity was rushing through the hallways trying to find her husband. Moments ago she and the others had been attacked by a band of soldiers. Alexandra and Alethea had been killed in the explosion that came after the attack while Alastrina was killed by her own Captain. Shaking the mournful thoughts of her best friend, she rushed outside. Looking around her eyes filled up with tears as she took in the amount of deaths on the battle field.

"This is madness." She whispered. Her eyes widened as she saw Kiran fighting against Demetrius. When they were courting, she often spied on him training. Each movement was graceful as the last, always flowing in one movement.

"Selenity is mine Kiran. You may have married her but I had her first." Demetrius smirked at the anger flashing through Kiran's eyes. "Yes you remember. Only she didn't cry when it happened. She screamed for me." He chuckled. "She even begged for more."

"Liar." Kiran yelled as he swung is sword and smirked as a long cut formed on Demetrius' arm. It was only on his arm but at least it was something.

"You are pathetic. What King Orcus saw in you I do not know." Demetrius said. "My turn." With a sharp movement quicker than the eye could see, Demetrius sliced his sword across Kiran's chest making him stagger back at the impact. Kiran placed a hand on his chest and inhaled at the blood on it.

"So you cut me. No big deal." Kiran smirked as their swords clashed. It was never ending until Demetrius saw Selenity running towards them.

"Ah come to see your true husband win."

"Selenity! No!" Kiran yelled making her stop. "Don't let him bait you." He said sharply as he turned his attention back onto Demetrius. He pulled out a small dagger and threw it into Demetrius's chest. Demetrius laughed as he blocked the dagger from hitting him. Selenity frowned as she tried to call upon the power of her crystal but nothing was working.

"Ah yes. You see this." Demetrius smirked as he flashed a black side shaped v earring. "This stops you from using that crystal."

"Kiran." Selenity whispered. Kiran nodded as he knew what he had to do. Blades clashed once again but this time, Kiran withdrew a silver blade that Serenity gave him as a birthday gift a few years ago.

"This is for my daughter." He hissed as he sliced the earring off Demetrius's ear but also succeeded in cutting Demetrius's ear completely off. Demetrius screamed in pain as Kiran threw the crystal to the ground and knelt down.

"You bastard!" Demetrius yelled as Kiran pushed the blade into the crystal making it shatter into a thousand pieces.

"KIRAN!" Selenity screamed as Demetrius's sword went straight through Kiran's chest. "No..." She whispered. "NO!" She screamed as Demetrius withdrew his sword from Kiran's chest. Kiran fell to his knees as Selenity ran over to him.

"S-Selenity." Kiran coughed as blood flowed fast from his chest. "Serenity...she's gone." He whispered making Selenity sob in loss of their daughter. "I'm sorry. I couldn't protect you both."

"Shush, it's alright." She whispered. "Sirius?" She asked knowing her son was dead.

"He..." Kiran coughed up some blood that landed on Selenity's white dress but she didn't care. She was going to die any moment so what was the point in worrying over a dress. "Died protecting a child from a soldier." He whispered.

"Always protecting others." She whispered as she hugged him closer to her.

"I love you." He whispered making tears fall like rain from Selenity's eyes.

"I love you too." She whispered back. She placed a light kiss on his blood stained lips making Demetrius frown deeply. "We will find each other." She said as their hands linked in.

"No matter what." Kiran looked at his wife with a sad smile on his face. "I will find you. You are mine."

"And you are mine." She choked on a sob as the life faded from Kiran's eyes. "Wait for me my love." She whispered.

"Come to join the wining side now Selenity?" Demetrius smirked as Selenity stood up. She turned around and glared at the man that ruined everything in her life. He killed her family, her husband, children. Everyone was hurting or dead because of this mad man.

"I would rather die a thousand deaths than join your side. I will never be yours." Selenity closed her eyes and focused causing a small silver light to form an object in her hand. It was a beautiful silver wand with a glass crescent moon. Demetrius laughed as Selenity made a small crystal appear in her hands.

"And what are you going to do with that little thing Selenity? Why not just give in to me? Like before." He smirked at the flash of anger in her eyes. "I always did like you feisty."

"You want feisty? You will get eternal darkness instead!" Selenity yelled at him as she raised her wand high above her head. "Moon Crystal Power!"

Demetrius's eyes widened in fear as a beautiful silver light burst from the small crystal that was on Selenity's wand. He looked around and saw everyone stop what they were doing and started staring at the light. All of a sudden flashes of rainbow colours shot through the air.

"NO!" Demetrius yelled as he felt himself being torn apart. "You have not seen the last of me!"

Soldiers around Demetrius and Selenity cried in pain as they vanished into nothing. Selenity collapsed to the ground as Demetrius gave her a promise of returning. With a final cry, he was gone.

"It's over." She whispered as she held the crystal tightly in her hand.

Selenity sobbed as she looked around and saw nothing but death and destruction. She opened her hand and closed her eyes.

"Please Silver Crystal. Grant me this one wish." She whispered as it began to float away from her hand. "Send them to the future where there is peace. A second chance for everyone." She whispered as she crawled beside her husband and held his hand. She closed her eyes as a beautiful flash of light filled the area. When the light died away, everyone was gone.

"Perhaps we will meet again my baby daughter. Maybe one day."
