Hello Everyone! I told you guys, I will be updating more frequently now for the stories I have out. Kuroi Kirishima is still one of my favorites, due to it being my very first horror fic. Chapter Nine is up, and I hope you all enjoy! Akito continues on his quest to get our gang into his grasp!

Chapter Nine

A couple days had passed, and the gang managed to create a barrier around their camp. With a few of the stronger yokais, they tore down trees closer to the edge of the jungle and brought them back to build a wall. It wasn't much, since the wall was only about three feet tall, but it was something against the walkers. They knew for damned sure though, Akito would be able to get pass.

At least in this way, they were safe from the walkers.

Since Inuyasha's awakening, the past couple of nights have been silent. Even the days were calm. It brought everyone on edge. Especially Sango.

She didn't know why, but she felt something watching her since last night. She shrugged her shoulders off, and ignored the feeling. If anything, it was the jungle or that Akito guy watching her to make her feel uncomfortable. She would tell the group, but they probably were going through the same ordeal.

Sighing, she finally tied off the last of the logs together with Sesshomaru and began to work on the sand barrier below to fortify the wall. Again, she felt the eyes of someone watching her. Shaking the feeling away, she tried her hardest not to look up to see who it might be. The last thing she needed was to be more on edge than she already was.

"Sango?" Sesshomaru asked, feeling her tensed emotion and fear. It was beginning to drive him insane, especially since he was so close to her. With everyone on edge, he felt everyone's fear - even smelled it laced with their natural scents. But Sango's had been more intense, it was hard to ignore even being far from her most times.

"Yeah?" Sango answered, not wanting to look up. Part of her wondered if this was some sick trap by Akito. What if he was using Sesshomaru as an illusion? What if he was going to scare her? What if that Mika girl was using her as target practice?

Paranoia fully seeped in.

He smelled it. Sango was terrified and paranoid. Kneeling, he grabbed both of Sango's shoulders and brought her to look at him. Catching his breath, he noticed the faint black color consuming her eyes. "Sango, listen to me. You need to calm down." He stated quickly and calmly, trying to get her to listen.

It was just as she feared, Sesshomaru wasn't the same guy she thought. He was completely different. His eyes were pitch black, and lips sewn shut. Her heart raced in fear, and she wanted to get out of his grasp. Why was this happening to her? Screaming and crying, she shook her head and tried to get out of his grasp, only for him to tighten and shake her. "Help me! Someone help me!" She cried out, begging for help from anyone.

Silence drew around them, even Sesshomaru felt it. Looking around, he wondered if anyone from the group was nearby to help him with Sango but no one was around. It was then he felt the strange aura of another nearby. Letting go of Sango shortly, only to help her up on her feet and keep her close to him - he looked around to see who was with them.

So far, no one came to sight. But the signs of someone being close by was there.

Gasping in shock, Sango felt the paranoia fade quickly and felt her entire body freeze when she saw the last person she ever thought she would ever see. Her heart ached at the sight of her brother standing in the distance beyond the wall close to the jungle. The way the light hit him made him look so real. It had to be real.

Walkers only came out at night. That's how it had always been.

"Kohaku?" Sango whispered, happiness feeling her heart. "You survived?" Stepping out from Sesshomaru's arms, she found herself walking towards him.

Looking down at the woman in his arms, he noticed her gaze looking over to the jungle. His eyes widened open at the sight of a young boy, lips sewn shut and eyes just an empty black void. Walking towards him was Sango, with a smile on her face and her question that left him confused.

Reaching out, he pulled Sango's arm and yanked her back to his chest. "Sango, that isn't Kohaku." Of course, he had no idea who Kohaku could be. From the looks of it, the guy looked like a brother of hers.

"No! Let me go!" Sango shouted out, trying to fight against Sesshomaru.

Suddenly, like all walkers who are denied, turned into what they feared. The kid began to open his mouth against the threads, ripping the flesh of his lips, and screamed out while being dragged back into the jungle. The cry of the boy gave them chills, as his face melted away before finally vanishing beyond the jungle.

"Kohaku! Hang on, I'm coming!" Sango shouted out, fighting against Sesshomaru again and finally breaking free. Racing to the jungle, she managed to get close enough until Sesshomaru tackled her down to the sand - causing her to hit her head against a small rock on the ground.

Fear began to slip from her, but the pain on her head was increasing quickly. Looking around, she continued to hear the faint screams of her brother but felt a heavy body pinning her down to the sand. Swallowing hard, she tried to look over her shoulder only to see Sesshomaru. A sigh of relief left her lips as she noticed it was only Sesshomaru and no one else.

"Sango?" Sesshomaru asked, wondering if the girl was alright.

"I'm fine." She stated, part of her feeling a bit uneasy with him using her first name. "Can you please get off? You're pretty heavy."

Doing as she asked, he got up onto his feet and offered his hand to her. She shook it away and stood up without help. It wasn't that she didn't want his help, but the fact that she had fallen to the vile monster's trick made her ashamed of herself. This was not supposed to happen to her. She told herself she would never be tricked by Akito.

But she fell prey to his schemes and she couldn't help but feel humiliated and betrayed by her own emotions and mind. How could she had fallen so easily?

"I can't believe it…" She whispered to herself, trying to gather her thoughts but words mindlessly spilled out from her lips.

Catching Sesshomaru's attention, he turned to look at the young woman and noticed a faint blush on her cheeks. Not wanting to bother with why she looked flushed, he quickly assumed it was because of the incident that had happened with the walker. But wouldn't she be ghost white instead of flushed? Curiosity getting the best of him, he tried to make sense of what her body language spoke.

Her scent was masked greatly with fear and disappointment, but as he focused closely he finally caught the scent of shame. Embarrassment. Humiliation.

It finally made sense for her flushed expression. Clearing his throat, he looked away to at least spare her any more humiliation and spoke up. "There is nothing to feel embarrassed about. The beast on this island is a master at subduing the mind of the person, and grasping their fears. He uses it as a weapon to bring us to the brink of insanity. You are not weak, Sango. He is strong, but we will win."

"That is so easy for you to say." She mustered out behind her gritted teeth. "Where is your emotions huh? So far after being on this damn fucking island, you have been so cool and collected, only saying a few words at a time. You barely show any emotions and when you do it's to just spout out advice and condescending tones! Show your emotions! Where is your fear? Where is your anger? Where is the will to fight to get off this damn island? He took something from you as well! He killed our friends and families on that boat!" She cried out, tears cascading down her lightly burned cheeks from the sun.

He noticed the rage within her eyes, and shortly after the blackness began to fill her orbs. "Sango, he is controlling you again! Fight back!"

She laughed with irritation and looked him up and down. "Fight back? Me? Fight? That's all I been doing since I been here! What have you done? Nothing! No wonder you sister died! She rather be dead than stuck with you! You worthless, piece of shit!"

It wasn't long until she saw Sesshomaru's fist rise up from the side, and darkness replaced everything. He watched in horror as her body fell to the sand with a thud, and a bruise forming on her left temple area. What had he done? Never in his time of living has he ever hit a woman. It didn't give him a right to hit Sango, even with the blackness devouring her eyes, he still shouldn't have hit her. Fear settled in quickly, and he rushed down beside her and lifted her head. "Sango…" He called out, removing strands of her hair from her face.

She didn't respond, and part of him felt he had killed her. His stomach knotted and he was close to puking as he leaned over to hear any sign of life in her. A faint breathing rhythm, and soft heart beat reassured him that she was alright but in critical shape. "Sango, I'm sorry." He softly whispered against her ear, holding her closely to him as he looked around to see who was watching.

It was then he realized he heard nothing. It was silent. The wind blew, but he felt nothing. He smelled nothing. And then he saw her standing on the edge of the jungle, watching them with a bright smile. Her clothing damaged by years of living on this island, and her hair damaged by the rays of the sun, and malnourished from lack of water and food. She smelled of dirt, and death.

"Is this a trick?" Sesshomaru asked, holding Sango tightly to him. "Is this your doing!"

"Get mad, Sesshomaru." Mika smiled, walking slowly towards them. "Kill her and Rin will be free. She is suffering, and you have the power to set her free. Get mad, Sesshomaru. Get mad. Get mad. Get mad. Get mad! Get mad! Get mad! GET MAD! GET MAD!" She repeated, shouting out in an ear shattering tone.

Sesshomaru let go of Sango and he covered his ears, and shut his eyes. He refused to play her game. He would not fall for it, but that became impossible when he opened his eyes and saw Rin standing in front of him. Her lips untouched by string and tears, her eyes full and bright with color, and her skin soft and glowing with life. "Rin…" He reached up, wanting to touch his little sister one last time. "I should have saved you. I should have held you tighter."

"Kill her, brother." Her voice, echoed and lost, as if she were drowning.

"I can't." He told her, shaking his head as he looked down to Sango. "I can't kill her."

He refused to look up the second he saw his sister's feet turn to a dark, blue tint and seaweed dripping from her dress. He knew that if he looked up, he would see those soulless eyes, and torn mouth – waiting to scream. "You won't win, Akito. Sango, wake up. Come on Sango, wake up!" He grabbed onto Sango's shoulders, and ignored the rapid wind that twirled around them and the screams of his sister's corpse. The repeated chant from earlier continued to ring around them as Mika shouted 'Get mad' at Sesshomaru. "Sango, wake up! Wake up!" He cried out, shaking the poor girl as he tried to ignore everything around him. "Wake up!"

And then it all stopped. The air became still again, and Rin no longer stood before him. He looked over and noticed Mika standing closer. Fear crawled up his spine, and he felt the pain of losing his sister all over again. "You bitch!" He shouted out, losing all control for once as he knew this twisted game of Mika and the island. "You think you can break me! You think you can break any of us! Fuck you!"

"Who said I'm here to break you? Sesshomaru, I'm here to help you. The water is poison. You drink, and you stay forever. Come to the lake, and be free. Come to the lake." She smiled, disappearing and leaving Sesshomaru alone.

He blinked and looked around only to find Sango walking back with clay and wood. "Hey, we might need to go find some more clay soon. We are running out." She stated, tossing the items in a shallow hole of supplies.

"Sango?" He asked, confused by what he was witnessing. Just seconds ago, she was on the ground unconscious with a big bruise on her face. Now, she stood before him with clay and materials that she already brought before her paranoia moment. How did he imagine all of that time go by?

"Taisho-san, I don't really feel comfortable with you using my first name casually. Is something the matter?" She asked, lifting her left brow in suspicion of if she really was speaking to Sesshomaru.

He felt his breath hitch at the realization that they never even spoke to each other using their first names yet. Everything was back to normal as if the paranoia and Mika never happened. Swallowing hard, he looked over to Sango and with a shaking voice he relayed a message. "Mika came, and she said to get mad."

Inuyasha reached up to scratched the edge of his eye, and rubbing it afterwards from the sharp scraping. His nails were becoming longer than normal, and usually he would cut them off but in an island of danger it was best to keep his claws. Sniffling, he looked out to the horizon and wondered how no one showed up. A cruise liner crashed, killing over a hundred people and no one sent out rescuers. It made no sense to him as he continued to watch for hope.

He felt dead inside, and wondered why he remained alive? Why was he still here when he could drown in that ocean and be with is child and wife? There was nothing on this island to keep him, yet he remained. He wanted revenge. He wanted closure. He wanted Kikyo!

"Fuck you, Akito!" He shouted out, kicking the sand below his feet and yelling until his throat became raw. He wanted to go back to sleep. He wanted to see her face again, and their son running around with a smile on his face. Damnit, he wanted his fucking family back!

"Inuyasha?" A voice called out from behind.

Turning to the newcomer, he noticed a partially dressed Risa who held her shirt and pants in her hands. "Why are you out here?" He asked, wondering why she ventured towards the ocean quite a bit away from the camp.

"Well, I was going to the usual washing spot but I heard you scream. I got worried about you, so I came over to see if you were alright and nothing strange was happening." She noted, then looked around and noticed that he was alone. "Why are you alone here?"

"It's the only place I can mourn without scaring anyone." He answered honestly, and turned away from her. "Should get to washing your clothes. We have a few more hours before it begins to get dark."

She nodded, and walked to the shore and sat down on the soft, wet sand. "Want to join me?" She asked, as she began to take her bra and panties off to wash along with her clothing. Nudity was no big issue to the crew after the first week of being on the island. When something was constantly trying to trick your mind and walkers were around, sticking together through bathing and even using the bathroom destroyed any sexual ideas. It became a normal daily thing, and eventually nudity was second nature to being clothed. "Today is laundry day, and I have extra herbs to even bathe too." She smiled, pulling a small clothed bag from the cup of her bra, revealing the crushed herbal soap that Kira had made for everyone.

Inuyasha didn't know what to say, and instead nodded and joined her. He removed his worn-out jeans, and ripped sleeved shirt. Tossing them near the shore line he also removed his briefs and kneeled beside Risa. Dunking his clothing in the water, he looked over to her and began to talk to pass the time. "Does your hair bother you?" He asked, since the heat and humidity from the island was starting to make his own hair stick to his skin.

"Yeah. I can't stand my hair sticking to me, and no matter how much I bathe, my skin still feels sticky." She chuckled lightly, rubbing her clothing together in the water, and then adding some of the soap to her clothing. A soft lather began in his small shirt, and she scrubbed enough to create a big enough lather to soap her shorts and panties. "I want to cut it, but I have nothing sharp enough to cut it without tugging my hair roughly."

"I know what you mean." He stated afterwards, rubbing his own clothing together and using just enough soap to lather his clothes. Looking up to Risa, he noticed quickly her breasts moving with the rhythm of her scrubbing. Swallowing hard, he quickly looked away and felt sick and guilty for even thinking of Risa in such a way. "I have claws, it might help." He suggested as a solution to cutting hair.

Laughing, she nodded and shrugged. "Yeah, we can give it a try. I don't want to be any more miserable on this forsaken island." Washing her clothing, he finally rinsed them from the soap and stood up to walk far enough away from the water to lay them out on the shore. Stepping back to Inuyasha, she sat on her knees and crawled into the ocean with a sigh. "This feels amazing. I don't ever want to leave out of this. It takes the sweat and scent of the island off my body."

Watching in awe, he forgot to rinse his clothing as he watched Risa rinse herself in the ocean's water. Her plump ass high in the air, and her upper body diving into the water head first. He saw her perfect slit spread before him, and he had to bite down hard on his tongue to not growl at the sight before him. She lowered her ass into the water, the waves brushing against her spread sex and tight star. She sat upright, lifting her hands up to the sky and her perky breasts tanning under the sunlight. Water droplets landed into the ocean, and Inuyasha felt himself wondering how delicious she would taste.

Oblivious to her surroundings, she reached back towards Inuyasha where the soap laid and grabbed just a little to rub against her breasts. She massaged them gently, making a lather as she began to scrub her body from the filth around her. She stood up on her knees, and carefully spread them as she used her soapy hands to reach between her legs and lather up her slit and ass.

Diving back into the water, she rinsed her body off and broke the surface to breathe in fresh air. Her breasts bouncing and her hands sinking into her now soap watered hair. "I found the easiest way to soap my hair." She informed. "After you lather yourself up well and dive in the water, make sure you quickly rise out, head first. The soapy water will be in your hair, and even though it's not a lot of soap, it's enough to kill the oily look." She smiled. She turned with her back facing Inuyasha again, and she dunk her head into the ocean.

Again, he saw her lovely pink lips spread wide for him to see. He swallowed hard as he mindlessly finished washing his clothes from the soap, and quickly brought them to his lap to hide his hard erection. The friction from the jeans rubbing against him made his cock leak with precum, and a soft moan left his lips. 'This is wrong. I shouldn't feel this way.' He warred with himself, yet his body begged to fuck Risa until he emptied himself inside her.

She flung her hair back, water hitting Inuyasha's upper body. She lowered her ass back into the ocean and just stared out to the horizon. He watched her, and made quick note of the dip in her back, her perfect arch that made her ass perk up, and her nicely round breasts with the cutest nipples that begged to be bitten and sucked. "Inuysha, I hope I am not asking for much, but can you cut my hair?" She didn't bother to look back as she looked to what she believed was freedom past this island. "I don't want to be miserable anymore."

He didn't want to speak in fear that his voice would betray him, so he cleared his throat and tossed his clothing near hers. He walked over behind her, and carefully sat down in a way to not let his cock hit her. She smelled amazing, and it took everything in him to not bend her over and sink himself into her heat. Pulling her hair to the side, he looked at her bare shoulder and the nape of her neck, and felt himself leaking again. "How short?" He asked, mindful of his tone.

"Above my shoulders." She said, leaning forward a bit to gather her bearings. Her ass perked up and almost brushed against his cock, and sat back into the water as she moved closer to him.

Dangerous. This was all a bad idea, but he couldn't stop himself as he used his claws to cut away at her hair. Strand by strand, her hair was cut and she felt lighter. Smiling as she felt the length becoming short finally, she looked back to Inuyasha to thank him. Turning to face him, she noticed a faint blush on his cheeks. "Oh no, did I make you uncomfortable?" She asked, oblivious to his erection beneath the water.

"No." He stated. "Well, maybe a little." He gave a nervous smile. He just prayed she didn't look down. He didn't want to go through that embarrassment.

"Ok, well if I ever make you uncomfortable just let me know." She smiled softly, reaching up to touch his shoulder. Silence filled the air for a moment, all that could be heard were the waves and breeze hitting against them. Risa scrunched up her brows in confusion, and licked her dry bottom lip before speaking. "You remind me of someone I knew a while back. You almost look just like him."

"Well, me and Sesshomaru aren't brothers. Least, I don't think we are." He shrugged casually, breaking physical contact with her. He almost regretted moving his shoulders when he no longer felt her warm hand on his skin.

"No. You look like a guy I once knew. His name is Takano and for the longest time he was my study buddy in college." She chuckled lightly, turning around to slash back into the cool water.

Narrowing his gaze, he watched as Risa splashed in the ocean but the name Takano rang to many questions. "I have a uncle named Takano."

She paused in her activity and tilted her head in wonder. "Does he have a son?"

"Yeah." Inuyasha responded. "His name is Taki-kun."

"No way! Were you the guy at his sister's home?" She rose up to her knees and smiled brightly. It felt amazing to know there was more in common with him than just a shipwreck. "I remember you! I had to leave that day because it seemed a bit too rude to come into the family when I was just a study partner." She laughed nervously.

"Study partner? That's not what uncle said." Inuyasha teased. "But yeah, I remember you also. Your hair was pulled back I think, and you had a ton of makeup on. Kind of hard to recognize you." He grinned, splashing a bit of water over her way.

She gaped at his comment, and rolled her eyes jokingly. "Are you saying I am ugly?" She teased back, splashing some water back his way.

He shrugged and kept silent as he swung his hand from behind him to splash her. "If anything, I think you look cuter without that shit on your face." He grinned, keeping his lower part in the ocean. He walked further out where he completely stood on his feet and the water level reach his waist.

She raced over to him after trying to block most of the water from hitting her face. Laughing at the stunt, she began to move her hands against the surface and splashed back. Several minutes passed as they splashed each other, trying to grab on to the other to tackle them under water. Forgetful of his hard cock, Risa slammed against him to tackle him under only to pause in silence as she felt his erection poking against her stomach.

They both froze as they looked at each other, knowing the predicament they were in. It made her hot with need, and she had to fight the urge to not climb up against him and place his tip right at her entrance and sink down on him. The urge was becoming intense, but they still had yet to make a move. She bit her lip and it was all it took for him to lean forward and capture her lips.

"Yasha…" She moaned his name, grabbing tightly against him while trying to speak between the crushing heated kiss.

'Yasha'… Kikyo came to mind and he stopped and pulled away immediately. This wasn't right. "Inuyasha?" Risa called out to him, but he ignored her as he turned away and tried to hide his emotions.

"I'm sorry. I don't know if I can do this." He finally explained, turning back to her to speak out of respect. "It wasn't that long ago that I lost my wife in that wreck and even though I know she would want me to move on with my life, I can't help but feel guilt over this."

She nodded in understanding, reaching over to touch his shoulder. "Hey, I understand. It's a big loss, and you can't expect yourself to move on so fast. I am alright. You didn't hurt my feelings, Inuyasha." She smiled gently, touching his scruffy cheek. "I can leave if you like some privacy." She noted down to his still erect cock.

He looked down, and noticed the tip of his cock was peeking out from the surface, just inches away from touching against her bare skin. Part of him wanted to use her for the release, but the other part he was fighting with was his heart. This just didn't feel right. Mostly because he had yet to fully mourn his wife and unborn son. "I want to." He spoke lowly, but the pain remained in his voice. "If you don't mind, I would like to just hold you. I need to be held." He sounded weak to his own ears, but deep down inside he needed comfort.

Nodding, she reached up to pull him closely ignoring his growing member between them. "I know she is somewhere in a peaceful place away from this island. Don't think for a second this island won everything. She will always be here." She placed her palm against his heart.

Nestling his head against the nape of her neck, he pulled her up against him having her legs automatically wrapped around his waist. He held her tightly and just tried to keep his calm. "It's still hard." He noted to her, but he couldn't fight the sense of ease and comfort he felt in her presence at this moment.

"It will always be hard, Inuyasha. They say time heals all, but really it only just gets better to handle. It never goes away. Just becomes tolerable." She smiled, nudging her head against his own. "I am here for you, and so is everyone else at the camp. I don't mind helping you through this process."

The emotions riled from all points inside Inuyasha as he held Risa tightly to him. Part of him didn't want to admit that the love of his life was gone from this world, but he knew the healing process begins when acceptance is made. He clutched tightly to her, feeling that if he let go of her he would break.

The sun had finally set, and the group gathered around the fire for a moment before heading to bed. They had improved their living arrangements in the tent, that instead of a tight-fitting area, they expanded to where everyone had a makeshift bed that fit comfortably inside. It took them all day to make while also building a blockade around their small area. If they didn't see the forest and only the ocean, they would be alright.

It had been 3 months since their crash. At least it felt like 3 months. Who knows how many days, weeks or months has passed. The days joined together, and it became difficult to tell how many full moons passed with the stress that has happened. The fact of knowing they were stuck on this island and not one airplane or rescue ship could be seen all this time, became depressing.

"Another visit from the mind fucking bitch, and once again she tells us the ocean is poison." Bankostu muttered out, tossing the shell of his melon aside. "At this point, I am not even sure if the bitch is right. What if the ocean is poison and the fish we gather from there is rotting our minds? Should we go to the forest?"

Everyone watched Bankostu struggle with what their next move should be as a group. No one bothered to mention anything while he ranted off about no one even coming to the island to rescue them. The idea of them already being dead and stuck in limbo. So many ideas of what could truly be reality and the girl they keep seeing is Death.

After so much rambling, Naraku finally spoke up wanting the atmosphere to ease out. "Bank, this is not the time to make everyone fearful." He lifted his hand up to silence the leader. "Right now, what we need is a good night. We blocked the view of the jungle, and see only the ocean now. The moon is out, and it looks splendid. Instead of becoming worried for once, we need to recover from the stress we have all been through and try to make the best out of a horrible situation."

"How?" Bank asked, sounding just as exhausted as everyone looked.

"Let's start off by getting to know everyone!" Risa smiled brightly. "Turns out me and Inuyasha knew each other before the cruise."

"I thought we got to know each other the first night we landed here." Jensen shrugged, sitting right beside Jakotsu. "Besides, what are we going to learn exactly anyways by doing this? I am not trying to be a nihilist, but it seems the dark days are already here and learning anything about anyone would be pointless."

It was Jak who noticed something odd in the attitude of Jensen. If anyone thought the world was ending and would rather watch it burn, it was him! Not Jensen. Clearing his throat, he reached over to grab Jen's hand and caught his eyes. For a brief moment, they were clouding with black but looking at him they faded. "Jensen, let's just talk and get to know everyone. Alright?" He gave a faint smile, hoping that the blackness was just a figment of his imagination.

Nodding in agreement, he turned to everyone and smiled. "Well, I traveled a lot during my time off this island. I went to different parts of the world and met a lot of fascinating people. There was this girl I met at a hotel once who told me she was half Japanese and North American. She kind of almost looked like you Kira."

It was Kira's turn who gave a lopsided look of confusion. "It's funny cause I use to work in a hotel industry over in Hokkaido. That was back in March of last year." She gave a tight lip grin. "And I am half Japanese and American. I get my green eyes from my father."

"Holy fuck! That was you then!" Jensen chuckled lightly. "You looked totally different back then. It was probably having your hair tied up into a bun and wearing a penguin suit."

"You also shaved from the last time I remember. You had a large beard and wore snow gear, if I remember correctly." She smiled brightly. "You mentioned hating the winter season with a passion."

Listening to the pair talking, Naraku looked over to Jensen carefully and noticed a similar resemblance to the man in the elevator. "Wait a second. You said you were there last March? Beard and wild hair to go with?" He asked Jensen.

"Yeah. I came back from hiking the trail of the Great Wall of China. Long trip, and after that went on a trip with a buddy of mine to the Himalayans." He chuckled lightly. "I didn't stop until I came back home to Hokkaido to visit some friends at the time. That's when I came to the hotel and even bumped…" He froze at the realization of who the man in the elevator was. "Well Naraku, you sure as hell look different then. You don't have hickies marking your neck and smelling of shameful sex." He grinned widely.

Bankotsu cocked a brow and looked over to Naraku. "Naraku? Shameful sex? Nah… please elaborate."

"Fuck off." Naraku looked over to the side, ignoring the laughter among everyone.

"Seems we have more in common than I realized." Bankostu finally spoke up. "When I think about it, Kagome, you seem vaguely familiar. Did you use to work in retail or food?"

Swallowing a large piece of her fish and clams, she looked over to Bank and the rest of the gang. Licking the juices from her lips, she placed her food down and gave a brief smile. "I worked for a small restaurant in Okinawa. It was quite famous for its food." Reaching down to grab her melon slice for water, it was then she finally looked between Bank and Jak. "I served you two on my first night working there. What happened to the third guy? I heard from my boss you three would always come in, but that night it was only you two."

Bank regretted bringing up this subject and turned away from Kagome briefly. It was Jak who spoke up about the incident and even explained that their brother had died that day during a job. Wincing at the loss they had shared that day, she cleared her throat to apologize until Sesshomaru reached over to tap Kagome's shoulder. "I know you, too."

As everyone began to remember the times they had all bumped into each other, it was Sango who felt left out of everything. She never met any of them prior to the cruise. It made her feel more alone than anything else. When they asked her if she remembered them by chance, she only shook her head no. It wasn't until they realized everyone met someone in the group prior, but not Sango.

Suspicion filled the air, but only for a moment when it was erased quickly by the mind games of the island. Out of everyone who met, only one person was alone. It was the same when only Naraku saw Mika and no one else did. The island continues to play havoc against their minds, causing everyone to doubt one another. But they refused to let Akito win.

"So…" Kira started. "Who is Taijiya-san?" She smiled brightly, reaching over to place a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah. What wild adventures have you gone on?" Jensen asked.

Sango looked around and smiled brightly at everyone. They knew deep down inside, this was all a plan to tear them apart but they refused to give in. "To start off, I got into a fight about a year ago that involved a loan shark and a couple of his hoodlum bodyguards. They were shaking down this poor man's shop, and wouldn't let up until the guy paid triple the amount he paid last week. It's my family's job to investigate crimes within the city." She reached down to grab some fish and melon slices. "I had to step in, and next thing you know we got into their huge fight with me throwing the guy through a window and his hoodlums being chased by my boomerang."

"Wait, I feel like this was on the news before." Sesshomaru added.

"It was. Apparently, a news company was a few shops down to do an opening advertisement for a new store. When they heard the commotion, they raced over and that's where you see Masa Yu being thrown out the window and two knuckleheads being knocked out by a boomerang. It was the talk around the office when I went back to work. We had to pay the damages of course done to the poor man's shop, but he was just happy to be rid of the idiots who ran the street. As well as many other shop keepers."

Everyone chuckled at the story, and it wasn't long before that they all shared their own until the moon reach well over the island. Not a single person cared to acknowledge they were trapped on a demonic island. They enjoyed their night calmly until the fire began to die out.

Not a single set of eyes watched them. Not even Akito.

Only his silent screams could be heard from within the jungle of another plan failed.
