5:00 PM 3 hour till date

Gaara's Pov

I rummage through my closet looking for something to wear. I look at the time and begin to rummage faster. I then hear a knock on my door and temari walks in.

"Hey gaara whats up why is your closet a mess?" I look at the ground embarrassed.

"Well my date with naruto is in 3 hours and i want to look nice but i can't find anything to wear. Nothing in my closet looks good on me. Could you help me?" She just smiles and looks my closet and sighs after a minute.

"Your right you have no dating attire." I drop my head and groan.

"It's hopeless i'm doomed." Temari just laughs.

"Well i guess ill have to take you shopping." I look at her smile and hug her.

"Thank you big sis." She just smiles and we head out towards the shopping district of the look all over and finally find the right store.

"Well gaara pick something out try to pick something that will wow naruto. Something that will tell him that you are more than just a friend." I nod and look over the many shirts and jeans. Then something catches my eyes. A small rack of dresses. I head over and feel the material of the dress and am surprised to find it soft and smooth. I then motion temari over to me.

"So you found the dresses huh go figure." I nod and find a black dress. I nod and go try it on.

5 min later

"Hurry gaara just get out here and show me what it looks like." I step out and temari gasps. I look at the ground embarrassed.

"Gaara you look beautiful in that you have to buy it." I look up and smile.

"You really think so." She just smiles and nods.

"If naruto sees you in that dress he'll be blown away." I smile and go to pay for the dress when temari stops me.

"You still have to get a pair of heels to match the dress you cant wear shoes with a dress." I nod and we find a pair of black heels my size. We then pay for everything and leave.

"So where are you taking naruto." I stop and look at the ground.

"Well i haven't thought of that yet i can't really think of a place that would be great." Temari sighs and shakes her head.

"Little sis you need to think these things through before you act. Well lets look around and look for a place that would require a dress." I think and then smile.

"What about the red lotus." Temari smiles and nods. We then head over to the most expensive and fancy restaurant in the village and stop at the front desk. Soon a man in a suit comes over to us.

"Ah the kazekage what brings you here." I look at the ground.

"um um well you see i-i n-need a um reservation f-for t-two please if you have any openings." The man smiles and looks at a small book.

"Well well well the kazekage has a date huh well we do have an opening at 9:15 will that do." I look up at him and smile.

"Thank you thank you thank you. It really means alot." The man just smiles.

"Well i will pencil you down for 9:15 ok now go and get ready i hope that you will enjoy yourself." I smile and give him a hug much to his surprise he just chuckles and pats my head.

"Well go hoe ad get ready and again i hope you enjoy yourself dinning here tonight." I nod and go to get ready i look at the time and notice i have 1 hour and 30 min to get ready. We begin to head home when i hear someone yell behind us.

"Hey big sis and little sis what are you guys doing here." I turn around to find kankuro coming towards us with a smile.

"Well if ou want to know big brother we were just shopping for my date tonight i even got us reservations at the red lotus." Kankuro whistles nods.

"Well i guess i have to get naruto ready then i don't think he has anything to wear other than that orange monstrosity.I'll make sure he wears a tux." I smile and me and temari head home.

I hope naruto-kun likes my dress.

Naruto's Pov

I look in the mirror and sigh.

"Damn what am i gonna do all i have to wear is this orange jumpsuit. I can't go on a date with gaara-chan looking like this." Suddenly there is a knock on the door and kankuro comes in.

"Sup naruto why you looking so down." I sigh.

"Well i want to look nice for gaara-chan and all i have is this orange jumpsuit." He just laughs.

"Well i just got done talking to gaara and temari and you will have to look nice for your date your going to a fancy restaurant. So lets get to the cloths shop and get you some new cloths and a tuxedo." I nod and we head out. We find a ninja wear shop and buy some new cloths for me. We then find the nearest tuxedo shop and get me a tux fitted to my size.

"So may i ask who your getting so dressed up for." I smile.

"Well i'm getting dressed up for my gaara-chan." The man just smiles and nods.

"I knew there was a reason our fearless leader was being so nice and cheerful since she returned to the sand even before she became the kazekage she actually was nice and less ruthless. So for that i thank you." I go to pay the man but he holds up his hand.

"It's on the house. It's for doing so much for the sand village." I smile and hug the man he just pats my head.

"Knock her dead sir." I nod and we head back to the house to get ready.

I hope gaara-chan likes my new outfits and the way i look in this tux.

Gaara's Pov

After an hour and a half of getting ready with temari and some makeup courtesy of temari i look in the mirror and smile.

"So do you think he'll like the dress." She just smiles and places her hand on my shoulder.

"You'll knock him dead little sis." I smile and head down the hallway and see naruto standing at the door and begin to blush he just smiles and offers his hand to me.

He looks so handsome in that tux.

"So do i look nice naruto-kun?" He smiles and kisses my cheek making me blush even harder.

"You look very beautiful gaara-chan." I smile and we head towards the red lotus. When we get there the man at the front smiles.

"Well miss gaara is this the man you were talking about?" I nod and he shows us to our table.

"We have an excellent menu tonight we can start you off with a salad then some soup and finally the meal. What kind of salad would you like miss?" I order a ceaser salad and so does naruto. i then order a cream of spinach soup and naruto orders the bisk. We get our soup and salad and begin to dig in. Surprisingly naruto didn't shovel his food in his mouth he actually took his time unlike when we first met.

"So naruto where did you learn to eat so calmly i mean usually you shovel your food down i mean at least that's what i thought when we first met." He just smiles.

"Ero-sannin might be a pervert but he is a great teacher when it comes to stuff like eating out iv'e learned to enjoy my food and learned a few other things too." I smile and go back to eating. We finish our soup and salad and order our meal i order a steak well done and naruto ordered the steak medium rare.

"So gaara tell me about yourself what do you like to do in your free time." I smile.

"Well i like to walk around the village and to go to the local park and watch the children play. I like to watch after some of there parents run errands it makes me think about the simpler things in life and makes me a little envious of them they had a father and mother that loved them while i only had my sister and brother who cared about me while my father only used me as a weapon and the village feared me." He frowns and i think iv'e said something then surprises me.

"I promise that will never happen again i will make sure you are loved no one will use you as a weapon again." I smile.

"Well i also like to look at flowers i have a little garden behind our house and i maintain it well." He smiles.

"So what do you like to do in your free time naruto." He just smiles.

"Well i use to like to walk around my village when i wasn't being beaten or chased around. I like to look at the moon and stars and i also like to garden maybe we could do it together." I smile and suddenly we hear a man over one of the speakers.

"Excuse me lady and gentleman the dance floor i now open so all you ladies grab hold of your men and head towards the dance floor." We finish our meal and i look at the ground.

"Gaara-chan whats the matter?" I look at him and smile.

"It's just iv'e never danced before." He smiles and offers his hand.

"Don't worry i know how i can teach you." I smile and take his hand and we head towards the dance floor. He then takes his hands in mine and he begins to lead and follow. We go round and round dancing he even spins me a couple times. After the music stops he pulls me close and kisses my forehead. We then pay for our meal and head out. When the waiter stops us.

"I hope you two had a wonderful time and please come again." We smile and nod. Naruto then looks at the time and smiles.

"Gaara follow me." I nod and we head to the tallest building in the village and climb to the top. Naruto then looks up at the moon and sits down on the edge of the building and i join him.

"It's beautiful isn't it gaara-chan?" I nod and he pulls me close.

"I hope you enjoyed tonight naruto." He smiles and kisses me on the lips making me blush.

"The best night of my life thank you gaara-chan." I smile and lean into his chest. We both enjoy the warmth of the other.

"I think we should head home naruto-kun." He nods and we get up and head home he then walks me to my room.

"Goodnight gaara-chan." He kisses me one more time on the lips.

"Goodnight naruto-kun." I then close my door.
