I aimlessly floated on my back, staring up at the clouds.

Why am I with the Sohmas, anyway? What could Akito have planned? Why is new years so far away? Why am I thinking this?

"You are going to give yourself grey hair." Azula said, annoyed at me.

"It's my fault...I didn't think I did anything. What did I do to deserve this?" I thought, depressed.

"Will you shut up already?!" Azula exploded.

Everyone stared.

"Great. Nice going." I said sarcastically.

"Hey, has anyone seen Haru?" Momiji asked, abruptly changing the subject.

There was a chorus of no's.

"Weird." Hiro said.

I closed my eyes, letting my mind drift. Then I shrieked as something brushed my back.

"What?" Azula and Kyo looked at me strangely.

"S-something touched me!"

Tohru started panicking. "M-maybe there's a shark!"

That made me panic.

"You're imagining things. Nothing but seaweed could've touched you." Kyo brushed it off.

Then I was yanked under the water with a shriek.

I stared at a grinning Haru. I shook my head, smiling.

'You.' I mouthed.

He tugged my hand, pulling me further down the beach. I followed until I felt like my lungs would burst. My head burst above the water. I panted, looking around. We were in some kind of cave, a great distance from the others.

"W-why did you practically kidnap me?" I spluttered.

Haru shrugged as he pulled himself onto some rocks. "Simply because I could."

"You are so weird." I mumbled, moving myself up onto the rocks next to him.

"Tomorrow, want to go somewhere?" Haru asked after a moment of silence.

"Like?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Think about it."

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I asked.

"Depends if you treat it like one." He blinked.

"Then you know what?"

"Nn?"

"Tomorrow at four. There's a festival in town." I stood up, then bent over and kissed the top of his head.

He blinked, bewildered as I swam back to the others.
