Kaito opened the door and heard the sounds of someone crying. He saw a pale petite figure by the window looking out. Around her were a fortress of used tissues. Her soft baby blue hair were soaked with tears as she continued sobbing.

"Rio?"Kaito said softly as the teary face girl turned around surprised.

"Why did ani...? Why did it have to be him?"asked Rio as Kaito realized what she was talking about.

"Ryouga did his best to protect you. I'm sure he doesn't want to see you crying for him."said Kaito as he sat next to Rio.

"But it's so painful...my brother ..my only brother...is dead...all because of me."cried Rio as she cried between words.

"It's not your fault."said Kaito as he wrapped his arms around Rio affectionately.

"If it wasn't for me he wouldn't have died."Rio said sharply to said nothing but his arms remained wrapped around her. For sometimes they stayed that way until Rio realized Kaito had fallen asleep.

"He seems so peaceful."thought Rio as she stayed still careful not to wake him.

Before she knew what she was doing Rio leaned down to his enticing soft lios and kissed him gently. Instantly his eyes shot open and Rio backed away trying to hid her blush.

"Got you."said Kaito as he smirked before kissing her back surprising Rio.

"Agriato Kaito."thought Rio as the door opened revealing a surprised and pleased Yuma and Kotori.

"Thank you for being there."said Rio as she leaned against Kaito who rested his chin on her hair.

Somewhere in Astral World Ryouga smiled.
