Chapter 29 Now thats a Bitch

Touga felt a swell of pride watching the little inumiko marvel at his home. He couldn't have timed it better with the setting sun and red skies. Taking a deep breath he felt hope swell within him.

The possibility of having Kagome as his mate took a great weight off his shoulders. Of course it would be her decision, but he felt with time he could woo her. She would make a perfect lady of the west. Like his mother, Kagome held compassion for all life. She had shown that with her treatment of the village he had found her at. She would also greatly help strengthen bonds with the dragons. As her first litter would be heirs to the South. She was also educated and an excellent mother.

Looking at her out the corner of his eye he knew it wasn't just the fact that she would make a great lady that drew him to her. If the butterflies in his stomach and increased heart rate were anything to go by. He was most definably gaining feelings for the demoness.

Having always thought he had no decision in the matter he was eternally grateful to whichever gods saw to bless him with the possibility of this beautiful woman.

Touga was wrenched from his inner thoughts by an all too familiar screech. A sigh of a different type left him. Turning towards the noise he stood strait and steeled himself to the oncoming onslaught.

"TOOOOOGA! My glorious lord of the west and most handsome intended"

Came the screechy singsong voice of Inukimi. She was sat on a lavish kago carried by four armoured demons.

Yet again this showed another reason Inukimi was not the type of demoness for him. Instead of walking out herself, or better yet waiting for their arrival. She wasted the time and effort of four guards. The lavish gold structure was heavy even for demons.

Wanting to get down Inukimi clapped her hands delicately.

A poorly kept human previously hidden, was pushed to kneel on the floor. Inukimm stepped on the humans back as she descended from her perch. Rushing to Touga she started to fuss over him.

Kagome raised an eyebrow at the lavish mode of transport. But when she saw a human woman being used as a step her eyes widened and then immediately narrowed at the self absorbed inu bitch.

Rushing forward Kagome knelt next to the shaking woman still on all fours. Not caring for the mud and dust encrusting her kimono, she knelt and touched the woman's shoulder. The shivering woman flinched and made to move from Kagome. Not liking that Kagome cupped the woman's face and made her look her in the eye. The woman seeing the beautiful demoness knelt in the mud with a caring expression on her face was overcome with emotion. She wasn't sure if the demoness was going to kill her.

Silent tears slipped from the woman's eyes as Kagome stroked her cheek. Seeing the unsure look in the woman's eyes Kagome whispered encouraging words. Turning her head retaining eye contact she asked Yokio for his water. Recognising the severity of the situation he walked silently forward and handed her the water pouch.

Raising the water for the woman to take. She saw the doubt and nodded her head lightly. In a sudden movement the woman snached the water and began to drink quickly. Barely two gulps had passed her lips before a pale delicate hand smacked the water to the ground.

"How dare you touch this thing, she a disgusting human and belongs to me! You dare to mess with what is mine" came the high pitched growling voice.

Kagome thought it was similar to one of the small dogs some people carried in their bags yapping away in the future. Still knelt on the floor she slowly raised herself to full height. She watched as the white inu demoness face changed from anger to shock.

Inukimi stuttered not believing there was another unmated inu demoness standing before her.

"T…T…Touga what is the meaning of this" she said as she slowly backed up to Touga's chest pointing in Kagomes direction.

With a serious voice Touga introduced Kagome.

" Inukimi this is Lady Kagome healer and a inu demoness from Musashi Province"

Inukimi gauped. She'd never seen an unmated inu demoness of breeding age. Her shock quickly turned to frustration and anger. Realizing she now had competition to become lady of the west. She stormed forward and narrowed the eyes at Kagome.

"No good dirty scroungers should learn to not touch other peoples stuff "she growled whilst reaching back and grasping Tougas hand.

Kagome thinking she was referring to the human woman, became enraged but held an emotionless front.

Ryoukotsusei, Shippo and Yokio stood back to watch the whole thing. Yokio leant over and whispered to Ryoukotsusei " Three gold coins says Inukimi is gonna go flying as our vixen kicks her ass"

Shippo jumping to his fathers shoulder shook his head "no after the way she treated that lady its more likely mama wont let her go anywhere except lying face down in the mud waiting for a apology"

Ryoukotsusei smirked and ruffled the kits hair, the runt was going on him slightly.

"Ok fox three gold coins you got a bet" Shippo rolled his eyes and jumped down to sit and watch with Kirara.

The males all stood watching the face off of the two inu demoness.

Touga couldn't help and feel his ego swell. He'd never had two inu demoness fight over him. It stirred something primal in him. Of course demoness of different species had fought over him. But this was how it was meant to be, his beast was purring happily.

Inukimis eyes racked down the Kagome. Sniffing the air she smirked and spoke with an air of superiority. Its seems even whors have no standards. Are those disgusting dragon offspring I smell. My just open your legs to anyone do you?"

Kagome remained emotionless, simply giving the demoness a Sesshomaru worthy glare. In the back of her mind she found it rather ironic she was acting more like Sesshomaru then his own mother.

Ryoukotsusei made to step forward at the insult but Yokio help him back saying "you interfere I automatically win the bet"

Ryoukotsusei wasn't bothered about the money but he did want to wipe that smug look of the foxes face.

Seeing her taunting wasn't having the desired effect, Inukimi darted forward with her claws outstretched.

Kagome nearly rolled her eyes at the sloppy attack. Stepping to the side and sticking her foot out. She watched as the pristine white demoness trip and fly through the air landing in the same muddy puddle she made the human woman kneel in earlier. Spinning Kagome walked toward the downed demoness and waited for her next move.

Inukimi was mortified. Her intended had just watched her fail miserably. Growling with clenched fists she swiped out at Kagomes legs. Again Kagome saw this coming and stepped out of reach.

Inukimi pushed herself off the ground. With mud dripping off her face she pounced towards the black inu. Yet again Kagome moved. Inukimi obviously had no training. Kagome grabbed her wrist and using her own momentum threw her back to the mud.

Kagome almost felt sorry for the woman as she heard sobbing. She could see Inukimi giving sad puppy dog eyes to Touga. Who was holding a stern looking face, but she would swear she saw the corner of his mouth raise and if trying to hold back a smile.

Feeling the white inu demoness might have learnt her lesson Kagome walked over and held out her hand.

"Apologies to the woman and we can set this behind us."

Inukimi slowly raised her hand and grasped Kagomes.

With sudden movement Inukimi yanked Kagome forward. Claws outstretched heading strait for the kill. The fast unexpected movement shocked Kagome. The demonesses claws only caught her shoulder. Lucky for Kagome she had her armor on so the damage was only shallow.

Having enough of this pointless battle Kagome caught inukimis wrist as she tried to attack again. Letting her had glow pink she slowly started to burn the white demoness wrist. Inukimi screamed and tried to attack with the other hand that ended up stuck in the same predicament.

"Apologies and ill let you go" came Kagomes calm yet stern voice.

"Never!" Inukimi spat.

Kagome sighed and swung her head forward knocking Inukimi out.

Dropping the selfish bitch in a pile on the floor she rubbed her forehead.

"Ouch did not think that through"

Touga was impressed with here restraint and forgiveness.

He gestured to his guards.

"Take Inukimi to her rooms and lock the doors. I'll deal with her later"

The guards rushed to pic up the demoness and lug her back to the palace.

Touga turned to congratulate Kagome but saw her knelt with the human woman talking to a guard.

"Would you take her and make sure she is fed and cared for?"

The guard seemed shocked and conflicted, so glanced up to his lord who nodded.

Kagome gave a grateful smile to Touga and opened her mouth about to say something when she was pounced upon by Yokio

"well that wasn't as epic as I would have liked. But kami woman can you keep a strait face! I thought for sure you were stuck that way! Oh and by the way, you owe me three gold coins. I lost to your lizard lover there" He said pointing at Ryoukotsusei.

"My gem owes you nothing. Now unhand her or ill rip your tail off." Ryoukotsusei shook Yokio trying to get him to loose the inumiko.

The fox demon let go of Kagome, scooped up Shippo and Kirara then took of running to the castle.

"You'll have to catch me and my trusty sidekick if you wan to do that!" he shouted over his shoulder

Kagome went to run after him but Touga held her back.

"He'll be fine. Yokio will probable show him the best hiding spots to cause mischief. Besides he has that neko with him. Now lets get you inside and take a look at that shoulder" Touga said with a smile as he started to walk toward the palace.

Happy 2019! can you believe i started this back in 2014! So yep i am still alive as I've said i willl keep going with the story just give me time.

im not too sure about this chap. i feel like I'm doing too much detail and need to move on with the story!

id also just like to say ive had shall we say... harsh reviews from one person. i honestly dont care that much but just wanted to say this in general. if your reading my story and don't like it don't read it. constructive critersisum i like but just genral woffle over how they hate my story? how is that helping me XP.

anyway this chapter is prob littered with mistakes but tbh I'm just trying to get chapters out and moving.
