Make Me Your Aphrodite

So here it is the last chapter of Make Me Your Aphrodite. I've enjoyed writing this story so much and I'm so thankful for each and everyone of you who have read this story and never gave up on me. I am especially grateful for my best friend Gabby. She has been with me on this project from the begining and she gave me feedback when feedback was need and she gave me ideas when I had writers block. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have even read the series. So thank you so much Gabby! I can't even tell you how much I appreciate the support you all have given me. I can't wait for you all to read this chapter and I hope you will read the sequel Still Into You when I publish it. So with out further ado the final chapter of Make Me Your Aphrodite. :)

Chapter 27: Ready, Aim, Fire

Skyler's POV:

When Luke suggested that Eric kidnapped him everyone grew silent once more. I glared at him for suggesting such a thing. I mean Eric is pretty low but not that low…. Is he?

"Why would you suggest that?" Chiron ask confused.

"Because Eric would do anything to get back at me." I blurted out coming to the realization that Eric was probably behind this. They all looked at me confused. I took a deep breath and explained to them about my past.

"Before I came to camp half-blood I was in a gang at my school. And Eric was one of the leaders. When I was 13 I realized I wanted out. When I told him that he made that I would never ask that again and gave me a scar proving I belonged to him. And the week before my 18th birthday he approached me with his girlfriend and informed me I would start fighting with guns and I knew I would probably get killed so I bolted and that's how I found camp half-blood. But it turns out he's a demigod as well. And I've hit and punched him on several occasions making him even angrier." I explain to them. They all stare at me with wide eyes. Piper and Annabeth look near tears and surprisingly so does Leo.

"And you think this mean's he went after your father?" Chiron questioned. I nod my head and Luke speaks up.

"Early when you need him and punched him in the face I heard him muttering some stuff as he was going back towards the stadium. Stuff like 'I'll get her back' and 'I'll hit here where it hurts' you know stuff like that." He explained to us. I glare at him.

"You saw me getting assaulted by him and you didn't freaking help me!" I shout at him. He frowns and looks at the floor.

"I wanted to see if you could handle it. If he started to hurt you I would have stepped in." he said embarrassed. I continue to glare at him and so does Piper.

"Ok why don't we send Percy, Jason, Piper, and Leo to go look throughout the camp for Mr. Jones. Luke, Annabeth, and Skyler can help after the pageant is done." Chiron said ushering me Luke and Annabeth towards the stage. I hold my ground and don't move.

"No! I'm going to look for him too." I said. Chiron shook his head.

"Unless you want to forfeit you have to go on stage." said looking at his watch "Make your decision now because you have literally 20 seconds to decide."

"I'm looking for my dad." I said firmly

"Guess that means I'm searching too." Luke said undoing his tie.

"I'm out too Chiron. This pageant isn't that big a deal." Annabeth said slipping out of her shoes. I smile at her and thank her for helping. I curtly nod my head at Luke.

"Fine. After the pageant I'll be out to help you guys." Chiron said going onto the stage. I walk over to my stuff and take off my shoes and pull on my combat boots and a black sweatshirt. I grab my knife 'Warrior' I go back over to my friends. Annabeth has changed out of her dress into sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

"Shouldn't you change too Skyler?" Leo asked eyeing my dress.

"I didn't bring any clothes to change and there's no time." I snapped "Ok Percy and Annabeth go look by the lake. Jason and Piper stay by the cabins. Leo and Luke go by the infirmary, Big House, and dining pavilion. I'll go into the forest and look around there." I told them. Piper, Percy, Annabeth, and Jason went off to look. Leo started to move but Luke stayed.

"I'm going with you Skyler. You can't go in the woods by yourself." He said motioning Leo to continue on. I told him to stay.

"I don't need your help Luke." I said in a low voice. I turned to walk away but Luke grabbed my wrist.

"What is the matter with you?" He snapped "You've been acting like a bitch towards me ever since you got off stage from your speech!"

I scoff, "Sorry I've been acting so bitchy but that tends to happen when you catch your boyfriend making out with my archenemy." His eyes bugged out of his head.

"I was not making out with Eric." He said his face growing red. I groan.

"Not Eric you dumbass! Drew I saw you making out with Drew! In the middle of my speech right when I was about to say I was in love with you! How could you do that to me!?" I screech at him. His face pales and he looks at the floor guiltily.

"I can explain." He croaks out.

"Don't even bother." I sneered "I'm done. I told you my secrets and you told me yours. I trusted you! I trusted that you wouldn't hurt me. But you did. I thought this relationship meant something to you Luke!" I turned around and started off towards the woods.

"It did! It does! If you'll just let me explain what happened." He called. I turned back around my face red with furry.

"NO! Just do me a favor and don't talk to me again. Go look for my dad because he's all I care about right now." I turn back around and storm into the dark woods to go search for my dad.

I enter the forest and look around. It's hard to see anything in the dark but I try my hardest to make out any body like shapes. I walk around in hopes of finding my father. I go further and further back until I reach the shield. I can see a thick blanket of snow covering the ground outside the shield. I start walking in the other direction but turn back towards the shield when I see a glowing not far from where the shield starts.

"Dad?" I whisper in hope that the glowing is his necklace and he's over there with it. I make the decision to go through the shield. When I do I immediately regret it because it's freezing cold out there.

You know how people say 'This will happen when hell freezes over'? Well…. I'm pretty sure hell just froze over.

I make my way over to where the glowing is coming. My dad isn't there but his necklace is. When I pick it up it feels as cold as mine did when it glowed earlier. I know this isn't a good sign. I shove it in my pocket and start calling out for my dad.

"Dad!" I shout into the open "Dad where are you!" I can feel tears running down my face. Oh gods please let him be alright. I hear a rustling in the distance. I turn towards it and draw my knife.

"Hello?" I call into the air "Who's there?"

Silence.

"Answer me!" I shriek. I hear someone say something. It sounds like my name.

"Skyler" a voice croaks out.

"Dad?" I shout

'Skyler." The voice says a bit louder. In the darkness I can make out a large lump in the ground. I make my way towards it slowly with my knife still out and ready. When I'm close enough I look down at the body and see my father laying in the snow, pale and bloody.

"Dad! Oh my gods!" I scream dropping my knife to the ground. I fall to my knees and look at the hole in my father's abdomen. Most likely made by a sword.

"Skyler, you have to leave." My dad stutters out. I shake my head as tears continue to fall.

"Dad who did this to you?" I whisper to him. He doesn't answer his eyes begin to flutter shut.

"Dad! Dad stay with me. Do not close your eyes do you hear me?" I shout at him "HELP! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! Do not close your eyes dad! HELP! PLEASE HELP ME!"

"Skyler," dad said hoarsely "Don't forget that I love… you." His eyes fall closed and his breathing slows and then stops all together.

"Dad no! HELP ME PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP!" I shout looking at my father's lifeless form.

I continue to scream for help. Finally after what seems like hours I hear footsteps behind me.

"Thank god! Please help my father he was stabbed in the chest you have to help me get him out of here!" I said standing up and walking over to the person. I stop when I see its Eric.

"You!" I shout. He smiles evilly and take out his sword which I noticed had blood on the blade of it.

"Yes it is I. The one who has done this to your poor, poor father." He said wiping blood off of his sword.

"What the HELL is wrong with you!" I scream at him walking forward and pushing him. He pushes back and I fall onto the ground my dress getting covered with snow and mud.

"I'm getting back at you, you little bitch!" He snarled as he walked over to my father and kicked his lifeless form. "I figured I'd hit you where it hurt the most. I'd kill your precious father who you'd just been reunited with. Then I'd kill you."

I pushed myself of the ground and made my way over to him. He punched me in the face causing me to fall again. I could feel the hot blood gushing from my nose but I stood once more anyways only to be kicked down again.

"Now would you like to go fast or have it be painfully slow?" He said walking towards me with his sword ready to strike. I'm freezing and sweating at the same time. My head and face are throbbing and all I want to do is take a really long nap. I saw my knife out of the corner of my eye and hoped for a distraction so I'd be able to grab it and stop him.

"Rot in hell, bastard." I spat at him.

"Suit yourself." He growl. He raised his sword and I closed my eyes. Good bye camp half-blood. It's been real.

"SKYLER NO!" shrieked a voice. I opened my eyes saw my friends running at lightning speed towards us. Eric turned around and I took the opportunity to reach behind me and grab the knife.

Ready.

I had to hit him right. I had to get a bull's eye. Eric turned back and saw what I was doing.

Aim.

"What the-"

Fire

He stopped mid-sentence and collapsed to ground.

Bull's eye.

So I have decided to give my readers a chance to have a say in the sequel to this story.
