Disclaimer n' stuff: Don't own.

There's been many things said about Kai's triangles. Why did he wear them, were they makeup or tattoos, was he trying to impersonate those people from the Middle Ages who covered themselves in blue; the list continues. But something that people didn't consider, was the things used to paint those triangles (and yes, they're face paint). To Kai... The brushes were the most important part.

What size to use? What colour handle? Were they clean? How long had they been soaking in anti-bacterial cleansing liquid? He had so many of them. And, of course, hygiene is a top priority.

A rainbow collection of the brushes filled two entire draws in his bedroom. Everyone who dared to enter his room and nose through his stuff were left confused, slightly disturbed, and very, very scared for their lives if they were to be caught. No one confronted the phoenix about his unhealthy obsession. They liked living.

Yesterday he had painted them with blue brushes. Today it was yellow. Tomorrow, who knows? Even Kai didn't know the choosing method he used- it was that confusing.

Oh, yes, something that can't be forgotten: colour order. Had to be in the correct rainbow order, dark tones to light, had to be in height order, absolutely had to be perfectly sealed in place. If they weren't? Death and destruction everywhere.

Not literally.

Actually, who knows. Even though it hasn't happened, someone could swap an orange for pink. And everyone knows that red and pink cannot, under ANY circumstances, be together. Else the world will implode. Multiple times.

Half an hour later, when those triangles had been applied (lines straight, angles all the same. Had to be.) he washed the brushes and carefully slotted them back in place. It was stressful work. It took great hand-eye coordination.

But it was worth it.

I don't like doing these drabbles about common subjects. So I come up with crazy stuff that makes no sense. You can thank me later.

Daichi next, then I'm not sure what team I'll do...

Please R&R!
