"He has saved your lives so many times and you never even knew he was there. He never stops. He never stays. He never asks to be thanked. But I've seen him, I know him... I love him... And I know what he can do." –Martha Jones

Los Angeles, California 3 years after Graduation…

Monique Jones yawned as she walked down the busy city street. She was slowly getting momentum with her designing, but it was still an uphill battle for her since high school. She was looking for a place to eat when she heard a familiar voice speaking to someone behind her.

She turned quickly and spotted a very familiar redhead walking with a slightly older brunette. "Kimberly Anne Possible!" Monique exclaimed.

Kim looked up from her friend and her eyes widened at the sight of her friend. A smile spread across her face as she exclaimed, "MONIQUE!" the two girls met in a hug. After they broke up their embrace, Kim turned to her friend. "Go on back to base, Gwen, I'll be back soon."

Kim's new friend nodded and waved as she continued down the street. "C'mon, girlfriend, we got catching up to do!"

They found a little outdoor diner and sat down together with sandwiches. "How have you been, Monique?" Kim asked her friend as she sat down. Monique's eyes caught the sight of the gun hidden by Kim's coat.

"AGAICB," Monique smiled, and sat back with a smirk at Kim's blank look, "As good as I can be. Made some great deals with my dress and outfit designs, but it comes and goes. I'm still trying to get a stable nitch."

"How about you?" Monique asked, pointing to her hip, "I saw you packing heat. I'm guessing you're Global Justice, CIA, FBI, something like that?"

Kim gave a small tight smile, "Something like that…"

"How about Ron? You two probably married with at least two kids by now," Monique laughed, but grew solemn when Kim frowned and glanced down.

"I… haven't seen him since the night of Graduation…" Kim said sadly.

"Oh Girl, I'm so sorry… What… What happened?" She asked, but then backpedaled, "If you don't mind me asking."

"I had a lot hit me and I just vented…" She smiled sadly, "Said things that I shouldn't have said and I didn't mean."

"Well you were abducted by aliens, girl, if that doesn't mess you up… I don't know what will…" Monique said with a thoughtful frown.

"The Lowardians were actually the least of my issues that day…" she glanced up, "But when he's ready… I know he'll be back."

Ron Stoppable

Deep in-between the swirling boundaries of space and time, a 1960's era blue British Police call box spun through the stars before disappearing into a black hole.

The call box bounced around the black hole, being knocked around by bolts of energy as it traveled through space and time.

Kim Possible

It rocketed forward under its own power, the stars spiraling around it.

It appeared outside the orbit of Mars before spinning rapidly and shooting toward Earth, stars and asteroids flying past it as it soared.

Dr. C. Ann Possible

The box stilled over Earth as it found its destination — Middleton, Colorado, USA — before falling down through orbit.

Chapter 3: Time Stops for No One

Middleton, Colorado, Graduation Night

Most places in the small town of Middleton might find a British police box in the front lawn as strange or even warrant investigation. But for the home of Kim Possible, most would venture to expect the unexpected and to leave well enough alone.

"Welcome back, Ron or is it Doctor, or…" James said Clara led Ron, Kim, Drakken and Shego into the kitchen. "Drew?"

"It's fine, Jim, Either or is ok," Ron said holding up his hand, "As for Drakken and Shego, they've seen the TARDIS, they at least deserve an explanation on how they were saved. Have a seat, anyone else hungry? I'm famished." He said opening the fridge, "Ooooo Fish sticks… I haven't had these in… wow it's been a while."

"Would someone please EXPLAIN!?" Kim stomped her foot in frustration.

"Sure, hey, Clara, do we have any Jelly Babies?" Ron asked, closing the fridge.

"Sorry, hard to come by in this country," Mrs. Dr. P replied.

"Explanation… still waiting for…" Kim growled with a deep frown.

"Well, for starters, KP, I'm a lot older than you… we thought," Ron said as he sat down with her at the kitchen table. "I'm roughly give or take around just under sixteen… hundred years old. I was born on Gallifrey… in a binary star system in the constellation of Kasterborous." Kim stared at him as if he had grown a third head.

"And you grew up in the highlands of Scotland and you can't die unless someone cuts off your head," Kim said deadpan, "I'm being punked, aren't I?"

"First of all, I said "Gallifrey in a binary star system in the constellation of Kasterborous"...what part of that says "Hills of Scotland" to you?...Even though they were very, very nice that spring in the 1600s ... Second of all I don't know about the headless thing, least not during a regeneration phase... I did regrow a head once...actually it was a whole body from a hand during a Timelord-Human Metacrisis but that's a long story, involved Daleks I'll tell ya about it sometime... anyway, I'm not exactly in a hurry to find out if losing my head kills me, third of all ..."He paused to thumb outside the window to the TARDIS. "HELLO! Lil blue box, with a big every color inside that just transported you off an alien spaceship! Try to use those valedictorian smarts of yours to keep up! - Oh!... That was slightly rude. Have I become rude again?" He glanced around apologetically, "I'll have to work on that, or I might end up like Capt. Grumpy pants again…"

He took a moment to take a breath. "Anyway, that's how I came to know your mother back when she was just a hair older than you… first in the future in an alien prison...WELL ...it was more an asylum really...for Daleks...anyway, then I met your mother again in Victorian England where we fought psychopathic snowmen... which was much scarier than it sounds, and finally winter of 2013. There were no snowmen that time, thankfully."

Kim blinked, and glanced to her mother, who waved her hand, "Way too long and confusing tale, Love. You have enough to take in as is."

"British?" Kim breathed, and then glanced to her father, "British?"

"Nope, I'm all American, Kimmie-Cub," James shook his head, "The Doctor also known as Ron, and your mother saved me from a space station explosion when we first met."

"Doctor?" Kim glanced to Ron.

"That's what I go by, Ron Stoppable is an alias. Obvious a play on Unstoppable, which is something else I've been known to be. Though I have to admit, my last memory was me becoming very stoppable on Gallifrey… or is that the play on my name?" Ron paused to look curiously at Mrs. Dr. Possible.

"Kimmie, your father and I were companions of the Doctor and helped him save his home world, as well as prevent a second Time War with a monstrous race known as the Daleks. The first time war was what caused his home world to be lost in another dimension," Clara explained, "The reason he's survived so is that his race, the Time Lords of Gallifrey have the ability to regenerate at death twelve times. I met him on his twelfth regeneration. He gained a second set of twelve regenerations, and upon his 13th we found a way to save his world and bring it back to our dimension. But to bring it back it took a sacrifice…"

"All my other lives…" Ron nodded dipping some custard with his fish stick. He took a bite and frowned, "Not bad… but not like it used to be… bloody shifting taste buds…" He glanced up, "I was mortally wounded stopping the Daleks and an old enemy of mine. The question still remains. How did I regenerate into a semi-human infant form, with no memories of my past lives?" He asked, grabbing a bag of nachos from the table, opened them and dipped one into the custard and took a bite, "On the right track…"

"After you lost confidence, another Timelord named Toshimiru said there might be a way to save you," Clara explained, "We rushed your body to the TARDIS and rushed you away."

"Toshimiru… hmm… very interesting…" Ron rubbed his chin, he then waved his hand, "Anyway, continue."

"Toshimiru, myself, Jim, as well as Susan and David," Clara glanced up to Kim, "Mr. and Mrs. Stoppable as they go by now took him to Karn."

"They're in on this, too?!" Kim twitched.

"You took me to the sisterhood… there's no telling what those witches did to me…" Ron face-palmed.

Kim rubbed her face mumbling, "Witches… now witches too…"

"They saved your life!" Clara exclaimed, "After you ended the Time War they said they owed you. Which I insisted myself, we ALL owe you. That's why I had them customized your regeneration. You were regenerated into a child, human for the most part, and we sealed your memories. I was the only one with the key words to trigger a semi-regeneration to bring back the Doctor. I wanted you to have some peace… some happiness. I was honored to watch over you as Susan and David raised you. It thrilled me when you and Kimmie became friends, more so when you fell in love. It was everything I ever wanted for you. And then this happened… it was too soon, I had hoped it would be much later if not never we'd have need to call on the Doctor again."

"Can't be helped, Clara," Ron smiled. "Any case, I'm happy to be back."

"At least someone is happy…" Kim rubbed her temple.

"Kim?" Clara turned to his daughter.

"Happy to be back? Back to what? The Doctor, some alien… thing?" Kim slammed her fist on the table, "What happened to Ron? Where's MY Ron? I want HIM back!"

"KP, I'm still me…" Ron said, reaching out to her, but she waved him off and stepped away from the table.

"No you're not!" Kim shook her head, tears in her eyes, "LOOK at you! You've voice is coming in and out of a British accent! You're eating nacho chips and custard. You HATE custard and… YOU'RE WEARING A TIE!"

"I don't even know who you are!" Kim exclaimed, then turned to her mother, "I don't want this Doctor whoever, I want my Ron back. I want MY Ron now! You took him away, you bring him back. Bring him back now, Mother!"

"I…" tears formed in the corners of Clara's eyes, "I-I can't, Kim…"

"I don't want this… I don't want this at all… I want my Boyfriend. I want My Ron…" Kim shook her head.

"Wow, talk about cold, Pumpkin," Shego spoke up for the first time, as she and Drakken had quietly taken it all in. "I thought you actually cared for him? I only saw him for like five minutes and I could tell you it was an upgrade on the same model."

"What? I love him! I just… this is so much… I can't process all of this at once… Where'd he go?" Kim asked glancing around rapidly.

"Went out that way," Shego pointed out the window where a loud roaring was growing softer.

"NO! RON!" Kim ran out the door just as the TARDIS faded away.

"NO! NO!" Kim ran to where it was and felt around hoping it was just invisible, she finally dropped to her knees in despair. "I didn't mean it! I promise…" Kim cried as she shook her head. She stiffened as she felt arms wrap around her shoulders.

"He'll be back, Kimmie," Clara whispered as she held her daughter, "That's one thing that's always been the same, be it Ron Stoppable or the Doctor. When we need him the very most… he will be there. We must be strong. We must be patient. He will come home, Kimmie…"

Ron traveled in his TARDIS throughout time, catching up on what he had missed, with the exception of Gallifrey avoiding it like the plague. He took a break in a distant galaxy, parking the TARDIS on an asteroid to witness the birth of a new star.

He named it Kim.

Next he traveled to the distant future and helped settle a revolt on a space colony. He spent a few hours there before taking his wild blue ride through time again. He paid Madam Vastra, Jenny, and Strax a visit for tea, and introduced Strax to Nacos. His warrior friend demanded to know where to find those crunchy shelled creatures with spicy innards, but he refrained. Ron hadn't invited them yet.

He traveled randomly after that before landing the TARDIS on the rooftop of four story building not far from a pre-K on in a small American town.

He walked out of the TARDIS and watched the playground as the group of children ran and played. A longing and sad smile crossed his face as he saw a little girl with red pigtails playing with a ball. A moment later, the little girl was cornered by three larger kids stealing her ball and were making fun of her hair and freckles.

"Hey!" Another little boy with blond hair and brown eyes showed up. "Leave her alone! It's here turn taking turns is the basic foundation of preschool! The jungle law of daycare is behind us! We have structure! We have rules!"

One of the boys growled at him, "Get him."

They surrounded him, laughing at what was soon to take place. "I'm warning you… I have an imaginary friend and he's HUGE! RUFUS!"

"Hey, bullies!" The redhead grabbed their attention, her green eyes burning with anger, she proceeded to run them off.

"hey… did that one kid have opposable toes?" the little boy said, rubbed his chin.

"You're weird…" the redhead tilted her head at him. "But I like you." She said offering him her ball.

"You and Kimberly were such adorable children, much better than Clara's pictures," a voice spoke from behind him. Ron turned quickly to see a well dressed woman with curly brown hair. "Hello, Sweetie."

"River? You've met Kim and… wait never mind, I don't need to know…" Ron shook his head.

"Spoilers!" River Song waved a hand before walking up beside him. "You never out right said it, but I just had a feeling that you needed me to come back and give you a good swift kick early on, so TADA! Here I am."

"What do you mean? I'm good, everything's good!" Ron shook his head, "Trust me, I'm the Doctor."

"Sweetie…" River smiled with a small laugh, "We vowed till death do us part, I've died once, and you've died twice. So, if I'm any factor in you running away from Kimberly like the few smart Daleks run from you; then forget that. And also, honestly, do you recall anyone with intelligence responding well to who you are, Love? I believe you should give her some leeway there. Give her some process time and go back. Doctor's orders."

"And if she still doesn't like the Doctor and doesn't see Ron still in here?" Ron asked, watching the young redhead and blond passing the ball back and forth.

"She will, her and Rufus have always been among your most loyal," River smiled, then frowned as Ron quickly paled.

"Oh my, RUFUS!" He reached into his pockets fearfully.

He quickly pulled the unconscious mole rat up in his hands. "Rufus! Talk to me, buddy!"

The mole rat groaned and turned his head as he slowly came to. "Rufus?"

"What happened?" River asked.

"He was in my pocket when I regenerated…"Ron replied, rubbing his pet's stomach. "C'mon buddy…"

"Oh dear… You've had an unconscious rodent in your pocket for how long?" River cocked an eyebrow.

"Just about a day at best, maybe two…" He said sheepishly as Rufus' beady little eyes opened. "Rufus!?"

The mole rat jumped to his feet, pumping a fist into the air. "Allons-y! Geronimo! NO MORE!" He croaked before falling backwards in Ron's hands. "Jelly Baby?"

"Um…" Ron blinked twice.

"He's fine…" River said patting the rodent's head. "Mostly…" She turned and started to walk away, "Don't waste too much time, Doctor."

"River?" He glanced around to see she had disappeared. "I hate it when she does that…" He turned back to the kids when something caught his eye. "What?" He said seeing a familiar, albeit fifteen year old, Kim Possible leaning against the chain fence, watching longingly the same pair of kids he was. "Since when did KP time travel?" He shrugged, "Not the weirdest thing she's done… I'll have to check into this." he said as he carried Rufus back into the TARDIS.

"Remind me again why we're doing this?" Dr. Drakken grumbled as he and Shego climbed through an emergency hatch of his old BeBe factory.

"Because one: You built this place," Shego explained as she climbed above him into the factory, "And Global Justice wants to know why it started sucking energy from the power grid all of the sudden. And two, and most important, they're paying damn good money for this."

"How should I know why it came back online?" Drakken sighed, "Kim Possible blew it up years ago. It should be little pieces in a cave."

"Little pieces with a lot of weird lighting?" Shego asked as they entered a hallway.

"This wasn't here before…" Drakken frowned, "Weird…"

"Could the BeBes have rebuilt themselves?" Shego asked, flaring up a hand for added lighting.

"Is that a conveyer belt?" Shego asked as they entered a larger hall. And to their shock unconscious people were being moved along it. "The hell is going on here?"

"I think we need to run, Shego…" Drakken whimpered.

"Unidentified Organics…" a voice spoke as a towering mechanical humanoid walked toward them from the shadows. "Surrender. You will be processed and analyzed. Upon processing you will either be Upgraded or Deleted."

Middleton, Colorado, 3 Years after Graduation

Clara Possible washed dishes in the kitchen sink, humming a familiar tune when a familiar grinding, roaring sound filled her ear. The plate she was scrubbing dropped and broke on the floor as she turned and ran out of the house.

A smile grew on her face as she saw the familiar outline of the blue police box forming in her drive way. She waited patiently her hands clasped before her as it grew more and more solid.

Once it was fully solid, the door opened and Ron walked out with Rufus on his shoulder. "Hello, Clara!" he smiled.

"Doctor, welcome home!" Clara grinned, "Susan and David would like a word with you as soon as possible for running, even though none of us are that surprised… knowing you and all."

"Sometimes I just have to just take off for a bit…" He said sheepishly. "I tried to come back as close as I could to when I left. It seems that over the years the controls have gotten a little faulty, well faultier. I'll have to work on that…"

"It's been three years…" Clara frowned with a slight glare.

"Oh good, sooner than I thought…" Ron nodded. "Has Kim calmed down, I really need to talk to her."

"You haven't talked to her? She's been looking for you since you left!" Clara stated with a shake of her head.

"I thought I'd have to explain myself more…" Ron frowned, "She's looking for me?"

"You may have to explain yes, but she's more prone to listen now. She was upset, you shouldn't have taken her words to heart," Clara said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "She was so upset after you disappeared, and she sulked for a while then… she started her hunt. She's dedicated two years to finding everything she could on you, and all your… our escapades throughout history. Was rather impressed, she's dug up things I didn't think were even there. You may not even realize were there. Last year she finally found a black ops type organization that has some connection to you."

"Black ops? You may have to be more specific…" he gave a little smirk.

"She cut a deal to help them in exchange they help her find you," Clara explained, "She's made rather good money, too… hmm what did she called it… Firewood… Flamewood…"

"Torchwood…" Ron's face turned pale as he stared at Clara.

"Yes, that's it," Clara nodded, "What's wrong?"

Ron's eyebrow furrowed as he frowned deeply. "Jack…"
