Dear Guest I can't wait to start writing her in you have no idea! :D But it'll be a little bit before she makes her grand entrance. Although my art isn't the greatest I did do a picture of their daughter (planning to do more) you can check it out at my deviantart. Link is on my profile.

Alright here is the epilogue I had total plans to post this much sooner, but you know life likes to step in. Ah well here it is and I'm still brainstorming a lot for part 3, but hoping to start writing at least some of the beginning soon! So keep a look out for it!

~Epilogue~

~Two Days Later~

Alara walked down a crumbled street as quiet whispers could be heard around her. Not only were the whispers of visitors, but those that she could hear of the hundreds of people that died in this area. She took a deep breath trying not to let the tears and heartbreak show at the destruction. She had to remain strong as this was the decision she had made.

"I knew this was a horrible disaster, but now standing on these grounds and feeling it is another thing," Atem whispered in awe as he stared at what looked like a mother and child covered in ash.

"It is and to kind of live through in a sense is another thing as well," Alara smiled sadly.

"You're right I'm sorry."

"Nothing to be sorry about both things are very true."

"So is she up by the house?" Atem nodded towards the cliff where a half destroyed building sat.

"No remember she took off with her brother trying to escape."

"Oh yea let's head that way then." They moved through the buildings they best they could since most of the place had been roped off so no one disrupted anything. Finally they found themselves in the fields moving away from the city as Alara felt something pulling her along in the right direction. They slowed down as things began to come into view on the field ahead. She looked to her left to see tiny pieces of white on the ground as an image flash behind her eyes.

"The horse they were using to try and escape died there," Alara said before moving a few steps closer to the final object. She looked closely at the human shapes covered in ash, and she could almost see every detail to Eliana's face. Tears slipped down her face as the pain and memories rushed through once again as she fell to her knees. Atem wanted to comfort her, but he found out after the first couple of girls they visited there was no true way to fully comfort her. She was alive and well at the sacrifice of all these girls all her previous lives. The best he could do was stand there supporting her, and if she needed a shoulder or ear he was there.

It was few minutes before Alara lifted her head, and raised her hand up as a small orb of gold light sprang to life. She gently blew on it as it lazily floated over to the girl before fading into her, and then shooting up into the sky.

"There now we've visited all the girls, and I've released any residual magic within them so they shouldn't feel any kind of tether back. Now they can truly rest in peace,"

Alara said as looked back towards Atem.

"I'm proud of you like always," he smiled as he gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead. She looked back out towards the city as a final idea came to mind. She gathered magic around her hands as they took on a golden light before placing her hands on the ground, and pushing the magic to race towards the city. As it reached it a soft golden light appeared around the city before it began to lift into the air like the other. As the last one faded away Atem looked back to her with a curious look.

"I released all the trapped and crying souls so they rest easily as well," she smiled.

"Do you want to go and visit Lanea's tomb? I mean we have until tomorrow to be back to help with the repairs."

"No not right now it's still really hard with her gone now."

"I understand it was only a suggestion."

"I know, but maybe we can visit the tomb in general a little later. So we can visit her in a sense."

"Yea we can do that. Then are you ready to move onto the next place?"

"Yes let's go surprise our friends," Alara smiled as Tenshi appeared next to them. She hugged the dragon around her snout before they climbed upon her back. She quickly jumped into the sky climbing higher as Alara began to build her magic, and her eyes took on a gold glow and the eye of Wdjat glowed on her forehead. With a push a portal ripped open before them as they flew on through, and searing heat welcomed them. They flew high through the air not wanting to catch any attention of those below. As they neared their target they found a corner where there was no guards, and Atem dropped them through a portal to the ground safely. With his knowledge of the palace they sneaked in and past guards without even being noticed before coming to the throne room.

"That is enough for the day you're dismissed," a familiar voice rang. They held back in the shadows waiting until the room was clear of just three people before moving around further to be near the main doors. Just as they reached the doors the man sitting on the throne looked in their direction as his eyes narrowed. "Who goes there? Don't hide in the shadows!"

'Well it seems he's gotten a lot better with own shadow magic,' Atem commented to Alara before stepping out into the light. Three people's eyes grew wide before smiles spread across their face at the surprise of a friend visiting them. They rushed over to him giving quick hugs before the questions flew.

"Why are you here?" Heba asked grinning.

"Why did you even think you had to sneak around anyways?" the Pharaoh laughed.

"What else is more fun than sneaking into a palace I know as well as the back of my hand? My friend you must fix this one day or you risked being attack while you sleep," Atem joked. "Besides someone else wanted to visit as a surprise."

"Who could you ever be talking about?" Anzu asked. She knew of what had happened to Alara for when Heba, and the Pharaoh returned they told her everything. Atem stepped back with a smile as Alara walked out from the shadows, and she couldn't help but laugh at the shock that appeared on their face. Heba was first to break forward pulling her into a tight hug as everyone followed closely behind him.

"How is this even possible?" Heba asked around the tears of happiness he couldn't contain. "We saw everything that happened before our eyes."

"The gods gifted her with new life as her reward for saving the world from eternal darkness," Atem explained wrapping his arm around her waist.

"That's wonderful we must celebrate!" the Pharaoh shouted.

"Well we can't stay for too long, because we're to start rebuilding the city," Alara said quickly.

"No matter we can celebrate during the time you can stay!" A feast was quickly made as musicians and dancers were brought in. They never felt as lively and happy as they ate, danced, and filled their time with their friends. As the time drew near that they should be leaving Alara stopped to think back how everything here had changed. Once a tyrant ruled by a monster that she loathed, and caused her so much harm had now come to pass as a dear friend. Just like before he apologized deeply for all his rude actions against her. She just waved it off showing him that his painful influence no longer held a mark on her.

"You know I still haven't been able to congratulate you on the baby he told me about," Alara smiled at Anzu.

"Oh he told me once he had returned, but I thank you for your kind words," Anzu smiled as she rubbed her bump gently. An idea came to Alara for something that she really wanted to try.

"Anzu, would you like to know the gender before it's born?"

"Can you do that?"

"I learned a lot of new things while I spent my time in afterlife besides watching over every one of course. So it would be something I would be testing out, but I promise no harm would come to you or the baby." With a pause to think she nodded her head with a smile. Alara placed her hands on her belly releasing a very small thrumming wave of magic. As she felt the vibrations and sensations from the magic she couldn't help the smile that crept across her face.

"So what is it?" Anzu asked as she rubbed her belly feeling the baby within kicking gently. She leaned towards her quietly whispering into her ear as delight began to light up her face.

"You can tell him if you want or keep it a surprise," Alara smiled as they looked towards the Pharaoh and Atem whom both were giving them curious looks. With a small squeal of excitement she rushed forward as did the Pharaoh worried that something might be wrong.

"So what did you do?" Atem asked as they watched her speaking very quickly.

"I told her what the gender of the baby was."

"You can do that?"

"It was something I tried out, and it worked," Alara said before explaining exactly what she did. A loud yell filled the room as they turned to see the Pharaoh picked up his Queen spin her around happily. He gave her a deep kiss before running over, and pulling Alara and Atem into a crushing hug.

"Thank you so much for everything I could never repay you enough," he said with happy tears in his eyes.

"Everyone's happiness and safety is enough for me."

"Very well then I shall do this one thing, and I would hope you might try to visit once they baby is born. I want you to meet them and them you."

"I would of course try my best."

"Thank you so much it would mean the world to us, and then she'll be named after you as well."

"You don't have to…"

"It has already been decided," Anzu smiled. "We want her to be a strong independent woman and queen like yourself one day."

"Thank you so much than that will be the greatest honor of course." They stayed for a little longer before taking their leave. Their leave was a tearful one, but also full of promises to visit often. As they raised above the palace aiming for a portal back to their home where everyone was waiting to begin anew headed towards a brighter and newer light of the future.

Glowing crimson eyes narrowed dangerously as they watched before them as pieces of a skyscraper were slowing lifted to the air by pulsing different colored lights. A feral growl escaped their lips as the owner sunk deeper into the shadows as a woman shot overhead. Pure disgust and hatred rolled off their form as they continued to watching the woman move in and out some of the nearby buildings. They tore their eyes away as they noticed the small tendril of shadow moving towards them where they hid in the shadows of a lonely tree.

"Yes that's it come to me, and grow ever stronger," they hissed as a dark smile spread across their lips. Their hand reached out to the shadow as it crawled up before melting into their palm. "You think that everything is perfect and over now…don't you? Well I'm here to say you're wrong, and I'll make sure that I bring you to your knees…any and every way possible! Crushing everything and everyone, slowly and painful before you so you know suffering worse than what you've been through."

"The dark lord is defeated, but his power still lives on within the shadows of the world," the person whispered as thin black smoke wrapped around their fingers playfully, and their pupils constricted to thin slights. "So I'll continue feeding it and growing it so I might have my revenge for everything that you've caused, oh Queen of Light. Yet I promise you it won't be now or any time soon. For I plan to slowly torment you as long as I can with all of my ever growing power until all you can do is wish for death. Even then I won't grant you that luxury instantly…it would make this game too easy."

A sinister laugh escaped their lips as they slowly melted into the shadows below them of the lonely tree that sat in a field just outside the city.
