A.N.- I wanted to try out some more emotional stuff just to get a feel on how to write out saddening moments. I wanted this to be short, i was making myself sad writing this. Tell me what you think~
You can't be serious.
The growing swirling sensation in the pit of his stomach intensified the longer he stared.
Motionless.
So still.
You can't.
He could feel his heart thump louder and louder against the damp asphalt beneath him. Words which wanted to fly from his mouth stopped dead in his throat and burned. All those thoughts now caught and stuck in blank draws. But then those words all began to disperse untill only one remained. His lips moved to form the question but it only came out as a harsh breath of air.
Why?
Ignoring the jagged bumps of rock coming through his already torn clothes, Sora drug himself with one hand closer to the sight that he couldn't take his eyes off of. Puddles of crimson grew bigger in size with help from the downpour of rain but it's color was still a horrifying deep shade of red. He stopped his painful movement.
And just stared.
And watched.
And prayed.
Riku.
"Riku," the name on his tongue came out a in a breathy whisper but soon became something much more powerful, "Riku!" The shout fell to deaf ears and pushed out by the noise of the rain's downpour.
The pale boy managed to hoist himself up into a crouched position so that he hovered over the inert body. His knees lay in the stained pool of red water as well as his gloved hands.
"Get up!"
He shouted.
He ordered.
He pleaded.
He begged.
Though his own form protected the battered one beneath him from the fast falling precipitation, salty water coming from him managed to drip from his eyes and onto the bloodied face beneath him. Struggled inhales shook him and exhaling made him want to crumple up right there. The emotions, the confusion , the pain all wracked his soul further as he began to feel himself break down. In to nothingness.
He fell onto the lifeless body beneath him and let out a desperate muffled scream.
Please.
Get up.
