Sorry guys, it's been a long time. I don't really have an excuse but I'm here now and that's what counts, isn't it ;) Hopefully the time gap means I've gotten better at writing. Disclaimer: I don't own the characters or Detective Conan.

Shinichi grumbled as he fumbled around with the device in his hand. "How the heck am supposed to use this? It's been so long since I last shaved." It had been three months since Haibara had given him the permanent antidote to APTX 4869 and Shinichi realised that he had gotten a little too used to his child form. The first week he was back was hell. Ran would not as much as pick up his calls, he would leave more than average amount of messages on her voicemail system. Finally after a few days of pleading, lots of pleading, and a unseen kiss on the mouth, she returned to being a girl who was now more than just his friend.

"You have no choice, Shinichi. You're growing a stubble. It hurts when we cuddle at night and when you kiss my cheek." Ran grabbed the shaver out of his hand and started examining it, "Plus, I can shave it for you. I sometimes shave Dad's moustache for him when he isn't bothered."

Shinichi cocked an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Shaving a man's beard is much more different compared to shaving your legs."

"I don't shave my legs," Ran argued.

"Yes you do."

"No I don't."

"Yeah you do. Last week I saw you had quite a lot of hair on your legs. The fact that your leg hair is quite a bit darker than it was around a year ago, which hair tends to do when you shave them a lot, and the fact that the hair is now gone means that the only possible reason is that you shaved them off." By the end of Shinichi's deduction, Ran had gone crimson.

"Are you kidding, Mr so-called Detective. I don't shave my legs, I wax them. Why the heck would I even lie to you about that," said Ran vehemently.

Shinichi formed his mouth into an 'O' shape at the sudden realisation. "God, I forgot there was such thing as wax."

Ran crossed her arms while leaning on the edge of the door, "If you ever argue about this matter again, I'm going to wax your stubble off. Mind you, it hurts quite a bit when it's not done properly. Now hand me your shaver."

Not wanting to annoy her anymore, he passed her his shaver, and gave her a loud kiss on the cheek. She grimaced when his rough hairs brushed against her face, "Ouch, I can't wait to caress your smooth chin again." He proceeded to nuzzle her neck, earning himself a chop to the neck. Rubbing it, he glared at her, only to meet her sweet smile. "Let's the foam on you, shall we."

Shinichi admired himself in the mirror. "Wow, this looks like a better job than I would have ever done myself. Thanks Ran." He gave her a short kiss, lingering in her scent for a while before gathering her in his arms, giving her a long passionate hug.

She sighed contently as she said, "You're welcome."
