After a few more rounds (one was never enough), the two finally fell asleep, exhausted. They woke to the sound of Henry knocking on their door, causing them each to sit up swiftly in bed and cover themselves with the sheet.

"What is it, Henry?" Regina called out.

"Are you guys having sex again?"

"Henry!"

"Are you? I'm hungry."

"We're not having sex! We'll be downstairs in a few minutes, after we wake your sister!"

Emma rolled her eyes and fell back against the pillows as her wife covered her face in her hands, upon hearing Henry's footsteps disappear down the hallway.

"We should stop sleeping naked," the blonde commented, laughing lightly.

"Why? He shouldn't be so uptight about it. He needs to learn that it's-"

"Didn't you ever walk in on your parents when you were younger?"

"Um... No?"

"I mean... I obviously didn't either. But my foster parents were... I..." Emma trailed off, then quickly added, "Nevermind. Let's go get Mia."

"Emma..."

"Let's go."

So the two woke their daughter together, then Regina carried her downstairs into the kitchen.

"Almost big enough to sit in a big kid chair!" Emma cried happily, smiling as Regina poured some Cheerios onto the tray.

"She's gonna be walking and climbing stairs soon! Then we can play with my trucks!" Henry said happily, sitting down across from his parents at the table. "Anyway, what's for breakfast?"

"Pancakes," Regina told him. "Your favorite. Chocolate chip!"

"AWESOME!"

Emma laughed at the boy's response, then kissed her wife on the cheek before sitting down across from him.

After they'd all eaten breakfast, they moved into the living room, where they all sat on the floor with Amelia, watching as she used the coffee table to steady herself while she stood up and began to walk.

"Good job, babe!" Regina cooed. "Come to mommy!"

Using the table for support, she managed to move herself a few feet forward, where she tripped and collapsed in her mother's arms. Regina lifted the girl up and smiled brightly, kissing her forehead.

"That's my girl!" she said happily.

"Mama!" Mia cried with a grin, making a kissy face at her mother.

After a quick kiss, Amelia turned around to face her other mom, still wearing the same radiant smile.

"C'mere, babe!" Emma urged her with her arms open. "Come see me!"

Regina helped her stand, which didn't seem to be a problem, but when the girl took a few steps forward, this time using nothing to hold herself up, she stumbled and fell to her knees.

"That's okay, honey!" the blonde told her immediately. "Come see me."

To everyone's surprise, though, instead of crawling the rest of the way, Amelia stood up and walked shakily over to Emma, then fumbled her way into the woman's lap. Grinning broadly, Emma kissed the top of her head and looked over at her son.

"You see that, bud? She's gonna be playing soccer in no time!"

"I saw!" he cried enthusiastically. "She was awesome!"

When Emma looked to her wife, the woman's eyes were watering. Instead of pointing this out, she just smiled and bounced her daughter on her lap a few times, until the little girl was giggling brightly as she looked around the room at her family.

When it was finally time for Mia's nap, her parents laid her down in the crib in the corner of the living room and sat down on the couch with their son, each of them wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"You're a good big brother, Hen," Emma told him honestly. "You're a good kid in general, but you're an especially good brother."

"You are," her wife agreed. "A very good big brother."

"Does that mean I get a present?"

His mothers laughed in unison and looked at each other.

"What do you think, babe?" Emma asked the brunette with a grin.

"Hmm... You know what I think?" When both continued to stare at her intently, Regina finally flashed a broad smile and said, "I think what these kids need is a dog."
