Typical day in the L.A. FBI office. The Team just finished a bank fraud case and everyone was cleaning up and getting ready to start a new one.

Colby Granger stands up and stretches, "Man! I could sleep for a week! Why was this one so tiring?"

Megan Reeves twirls in her chair to face him. "Probably because we were all stuck at are desks for the majority of the case."

David Sinclair laughs and leans over the desk divider. "I think it was from watching Charlie do his math, while running around like the road runner on speed."

This gets a laugh from Don Eppes, older brother to Charlie. "You think this is bad. You should have seen him when he first discovered the Fibonacci sequence. He kept writing it down anywhere he could and trying to show my parents and I how it applies to everyday life."

This got a laugh and cringe from the other agents.

Megan looks over at the genius through the glass walls. "So are you and Charlie doing anything for lunch now that the case is over?"

Don shakes his head. "Nah. He said he had lunch plans with a friend of his. Besides Dad's making a pot roast and we are both planning to be there." This makes the other agents grown in jealousy.

All of a sudden FBI Assistant Director Merrick and NSA Director Robert Tompkins enter the office and head straight for the team.

"Director Tompkins these are Special Agents Don Eppes, David Sinclair, Colby Granger, and Megan Reeves. Team this is the Director of the NSA Robert Tompkins." Merrick addresses to the group.

"Nice to meet you Director Tompkins is there anything we can help you with?" Don asks sounding as calm as possible.

"No I am just here to pick up a friend for lunch and wanted to meet his favorite team." Tompkins takes a good look at them. "So this is the famous Eppes team he talks so much about? Well, I'll have to see you in action some time."

"May I ask who this friend is Sir?" asks the ever bold Colby Granger.

"You already know him if that helps at all." He takes a look around and spots his friend. "Now if you will excuse me I see him right now." Tompkins says leaving the shocked Agents and Director behind.

"Who do you think he's talking about?" asks David.

"Well who is someone we all know that could possibly know the Director of the NSA?" says Megan.

"Well the only person I could think of is Ian but, he doesn't even work here." Don says.

"Lets find out shall we." Colby suggests already after the Director.

-Meanwhile-

Charlie has just finished cleaning off his boards and gathering the papers on his recent math theory. When all of a sudden he remembers he has an appointment with an old friend of his.

"Dang it! I'm going to be late!" Charlie says in a small panic and starts packing faster.

"Don't worry Professor I had a feeling you would be late or forget so I thought I would save you the trouble and come pick you up." says Bob Tompkins.

Charlie crams his stuff in his bag and shakes Bob's hand. "Hey Bob how are you doing?"

"Not too bad Charlie. Miss your consulting with us. Don't forget if you ever need blackmail on your brother just ask and I'll get Cory on it." Bob says in a joking matter.

"Yeah I'll remember that." Charlie then looks out the window to see four slack jawed Agents staring at him like he's grown a second head all of a sudden.

"Uh Bob did you tell them you were coming to meet me for lunch?"

"No. I wanted to see their faces." Bob gets a smirk on his face. "This is an even better reaction then I hoped for. So do you wanna head out before the questions start?"

"Definitely." says the grateful Mathematician.

As they enter the elevator the team finally get their wits together and ask the same question to each other.

"How does Charlie know the Director of NSA by a first name basis?"

"Did you know about this Don?" asks Megan

Don is completely dumbfounded. "No. I'm still wondering how he knows him? Actually no. I'm just wondering how much work he's done for the NSA."

"That explains his clearance." says David.

"Add that is another point for the mystery that is Charlie Eppes." says the amazed Colby.

Megan gets a mischievous look on her face. "You may want to watch your back Don. He could get some serious dirt on you with those connections."

Don visibly pales which gets another from the other agents.
