Man, it's been a while! Big thanks to pft980811 and C. Rinkuki Takato! They gave me REALLY good ideas! This is an EXTREMELY rushed chapter! My birthday is on Tuesday, so I've been forced to go shopping countless times with my hundreds of cousins and aunts. But they mostly get stuff for themselves. Oh well! I STILL GOT A LELOUCH SHIRT! Enjoy if you can!
"I can't believe they got me again!" I yell, slamming my fists down on the table. I had changed back into myself, but I still have the same strength.
"She definitely got you good." C.C. smirks and holds up a bundle of papers. "It's even in the school newspaper."
"Shut up, witch." I snarl.
C.C. snorts and takes another bite of her pizza. I sigh and peer outside the window. Suzaku is standing outside, surrounded by girls. "Well at least he's popular," I think. Suddenly, he turns to look up at me and waves. Gasping, I duck.
Later at School
I walk through the halls at school. The bell rings, signaling class just ended. (Gym for me. LIKE I WOULD GO!) Suddenly, the boy I know as Alastair runs up to me. I jump when he stops. He smiles and rubs the back of his neck.
"Sorry I surprised you," he apologizes.
I nod and tilt my head. "What's up?"
"Well, I have nothing to do this weekend. And a friend of mine cancelled out on going to the movies with me, so I was wondering..." He raises his eyebrows at me.
"Y-You want me to go with you?!" I ask, taken aback.
"Yeah! Well, if you want to go."
"W-Well, I dunno..." Then it hits me. Britannia is looking for me, Lelouch, a boy. If I look like a girl and have a boyfriend, it'll get them off my trail. "Yes!"
Alastair smiles. "Really?!"
I nod, surprised at my own reaction. "Y-Yeah! Sure..."
But neither of them knows that a special someone is watching. And that thy name is Suzaku. Who, at the time, is the very definition of jealousy.
Suzaku POV
"I'm back!" I exclaim as I walk through the doors of the student council, still seething from the sight earlier. Suddenly, I freeze in my tracks. Sitting beside each other is none other than Alastair and Luluko. And Alastair has his arm around her- I can't do this I'm calling Lelouch 'him.' Alastair laughs as she talks cheerfully to him.
"Oh, hey Suzaku!" I hear Rivalz exclaim beside me. "What's up?"
I tear my eyes away from the scene and turn stiffly to Rivalz. "Nothing. Nothing at all," I snarl.
"O-Okay?" Rivalz says. "Well... Bye!" He runs off.
I stomp over to Milly and she smiles at me. "Something wrong?" she asks innocently.
"What is the meaning of this?" I ask angrily.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"MILLY!"
"Well how am I supposed to know? They just showed up like that, hand-in-hand, making goo-goo eyes at each other-"
"OH BE QUIET!" I yell. "It must just be a mistake! Friends. Yeah! They're just friends..." I mutter to myself.
"Uh, Suzaku? You alright?" Rivalz asks.
"Yeah. Just fine..."
"Where's Luluko?" I ask the girls surrounding me. School had ended two hours ago, but I'm still surrounded by girls. GOD I'M SO HAPPY.
"Why do you care? I mean, she has a boyfriend," one of them say.
"...What?"
"Yeah. She's dating Alastair, from the student council," another one answers.
"What?!"
"Actually, I think she's on a date right now."
"WHAT?!" I scream then run off. "Where?!" I yell over my shoulder.
"The roof!"
"Got it!" I yell again then run into the main building.
"That idiot! Why is he going on a date?! I-I mean, he's a guy!" I think as I frantically run up the stairs. Soon, I hear the sweet laughter of Lelouch's deep voice. I tip-toe up the last few stairs and peek out the small window on the door. Lelouch, or should I say Luluko, is sitting on a small blanket next to Alastair, who... HAS HIS ARM AROUND HER AGAIN?! Turning away, I can feel my nails dig into my palms as I suppress the rage building up inside me.
"What is your favorite dessert?" I hear Alastair ask.
"Blueberry pie," he answers. (I'm just going to say "he", okay? For Suzaku.)
"No he doesn't. His favorite dessert is pear fritters covered in cinnamon sugar," I think
"Okay... What's your favorite food?"
"Shredded chicken," Lelouch lies again.
"Yeah right. It's herb grilled salmon coated with parmesan."
"Favorite movie?"
"Titanic."
"P.S. I love you." (The only chick flick in the world I kind of liked.)
"Enough about me," Lelouch says. "What about you?"
"Well, my favorite dessert is chocolate cake, my favorite food is salisbury steak, and my favorite movie is Star Wars 2: Attack of the Clones," Alastair answers.
"Interesting..." Lelouch trails off. "When did you say you have to leave?"
"10:30. Why?"
"You do realize it's 11:00, right?"
"Oh shit! I gotta go! See ya!" he yells, and I hear footsteps running off. I slowly open the door to see Lelouch turned away. He changes back into a guy then sighs and sits down.
"Thank goodness," he sighs.
I clench my jaw and stomp over to him. He turns around when he hears me approach, and I slam into him, pinning him against the ground.
"What was that? Are you kidding me? The hell is wrong with you?!" I yell.
"B-But-"
"And why Alastair?! What's so good about him? His cocky, he's blonde, and he's definitely not as strong as me!" I exclaim.
"He's smarter than you. And I just need a good cover-up for my identity," Lelouch responds, his voice shaking.
"Who cares?! Why would you do that?! I could have been your fake boyfriend! That would have been better than him!"
"Suzaku, please-"
"Don't 'Suzaku please' me! You have no idea what it's like to love someone and they don't love you back!"
"What?"
I freeze, my eyes widening as I look down at him. "Did I just say that?"
"Uh, nothing," I say hastily.
"Suzaku? Did you just say you... like me?" Lelouch asks seriously.
"Pft, no. Of course not," I stutter, getting off him. "W-Where'd you get that idea?"
"Suzaku..."
I sigh and turn around, my eyes narrowing. "Okay! Fine! I like you! So what! You don't like me back so it doesn't matter anyway!"
"Suzaku, I-"
"No! Just shut up Lelouch! I'm leaving," I yell, turning around.
"Suzaku wait!" I hear Lelouch yell behind me, and suddenly he turns me around and hugs me. "Please don't leave."
"L-Lelouch?"
He tightens his grip on my shirt. "Please... I... You just don't understand. I just... don't want to lose you again," he murmurs.
My eyes narrow and I pull him off, slamming him into the wall just with enough strength to make it hurt. He gasps with the pain and squeezes his eyes shut.
"NO! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! DID YOU FORGET ABOUT EUPHIE? DID YOU FORGET YOU KILLED HER?!" I yell.
Lelouch flinches like I hit him in the face. Then his face darkens considerably, and he slumps down. I instantly regret what I said and try to apologize, but he cuts me off.
"You're right. I did kill Euphie," he mumbles darkly. "Now let go, you idiot."
I back away and Lelouch walks, his steps quickening into a sort-of run. I furrow my eyebrows lean against the wall, sighing at my stupidity.
Lelouch POV
I run all the way to the ballroom, where I find C.C. sitting at a table, and, of course, eating more pizza. She looks up at me and scoffs. "Boy trouble?"
"AGH!" I scream.
"What'd he do this time?" she asks, taking another bite of pizza absently.
"He blamed me for murdering Euphie again," I mumble, sitting down in a chair.
She sighs. "That idiot."
"I KNOW RIGHT!" I yell. Sighing myself, I lean down on the table and put my face in my hands. She walks over and drapes her arms around my neck. Being used to this, I don't react. "What am I going to do?"
"Why don't you tell him the truth?"
I raise an eyebrow. "What truth?"
"About how Euphie died. We both know your Geass went out of control," C.C. says.
I crumble inside. "It was just supposed to be a joke. She just... I just-"
"Yeah. I know."
But she doesn't know. Neither does Lelouch. And what they don't know is that someone is standing outside the door, digging their nails into their palms. And that someone... is Suzaku.
Again, REALLY rushed. I still need people to ask me questions, so ask away! I COULD WIN $70! SO ASK AWAY!
