Chapter Twenty-Seven:

Red Vs Blue

Sasuke stood wacthing his teammate leave him. He was glued to the spot still shocked by his own actions. He was internally conflicted with himself. Why was he acting like this? What was happening to him. Why did he just kiss her out of the blue as if she would leave him if he didn't. Such actions are only done by those in love. Then it hit him.

"..I love her." Sasuke said in shock to himself. It hit him hard. It made sense everything now made sense. He had feelings. The feeling of anger of seeing her with the sand ninja. That was jealously. Wondering how she was and what she would be doing. That was longing for her. Sasuke was shocked but was snapped out of his thoughts as a wave of sand hit him back into a concrete wall getting out a pained sound from the Uchiha. Sasuke looked to see he was pinned to the wall by the sand covering him all but his head. He saw the one controlling it. "Gaara" he said only to get a growl from the red head. Gaara was furious his eyes wide and expressive of hate and anger.

"How dare you.." Gaara spoke growling under his breath "How dare you kiss her! She is MINE!" Gaara yelled at him.

"She is NOT yours!" he yelled back as a smirk made onto his face "But i'm certain her first kiss was mine-" Sasuke gave out a pained sound as the sand was applying pressure crushing him.

"You tainted her! You don't deserve to live!" Gaara said coldly shivering in anger as the scene was replying in his head. HE was supposed to be the first one she kissed. HE was supposed to be the ONLY one to do such gestures. Gaara growled lowly as now it was ruined. By him. "You tainted my flower! That was supposed to be ME! Not You! You ruined it!" Gaara yelled sending the last Uchiha flying into the floor hard. Gaara was holding his head in his hand his breathing was uneven.

"Your not having your way." Sasuke said getting up shivering in pain. Coughing and trying to regain his balance. "Over my dead body you'll ever get her" he said glaring at the sand ninja. Gaara looked back took in the words. He smiled with a crazed expression. The idiot leaf ninja just gave Gaara the answer! If you remove the problem then there will nothing to stop him. Sasuke shifted uncertain watching the sand circulating around the crazed ninja. Seeing the smile on his face.

"That can be arranged" Gaara said calmly though his widen eyes said otherwise. Raising his hand the sand quickly rushed to Sasuke forming into a hand ready to grab him. Gaara was ready and closed his hand as the sand hand did the same. However the sand grabbed nothing when the sand was moved it revealed there was nothing where the leaf ninja was at. Gaara growled an anger.

"Nice try you Sand boy!" Gaara whipped his head into the direction of the new voice to see Naruto holding up a limp Sasuke. "Your not going to kill my friends! Or hurt them and lie to them! Not on my watch!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Then join him" Gaara growled turned to Naruto as he raised his hand making the sand rush to the orange suit ninja. Who managed to jump away with his unconscious team mate. "Your both in my way!" Gaara yelled as he sent he sand after them.

"I wont let you do any more harm!" Naruto yelled keeping himself and Sasuke out of the sands path. 'I have to make it till Kakashi-sensei gets here! Whats taking him so long!' Naruto thought to himself as he landed on the ground after jumping out of the sands path. Only to be caught from behind. "Argh!" Naruto gave out a startled sound caught off guard.

"Once I get rid of you two. My Flower can be with me." Gaara smile widen. "And only me!" Naruto's eyes widen having witnessed Gaara's true nature.

"Not on my watch. Gaara of the Sand"

"Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto yelled seeing his teacher appear and jumped into action.

Sakura had her head in her pillow. Her face was red the memory of what just happened showing the moment over and over again.

'that was my first kiss! That.. That jerk!" Sakura thought to herself 'The hell is his problem?! Why does he keep messing with me! Does he like bothering me or something?!' then a thought came into her head. 'Does.. does he like me? Him acting hostile to Gaara.. Was that him being jealous?' Sakuras face redden a lot more as she thought about it. 'No he cant! But.. If he does then it all makes sense! He likes me!" Sakura couldn't help but feel happy at that. While she was confused why she had to admit. She did like Sasuke when she was younger. However after so much time passed and was not even given a glance the crush faded out. Yet she couldn't help but feel excited by it.

"No way" Sakura said to herself buried her face into her pillow "I cant like him back. I got over him." she kept telling herself. After taking some deep breathes she looked out her bedroom window from her bed. 'I got over him. I know that for a fact... Ughh why did he had to do this to me!" Sakura closed her eyes. "Stupid Sasuke" she said to herself. With that she rolled over to face her wall. Her heart didn't pound whenever she thought of Sasuke like before. But now she wasn't so sure it would stay like that. 'I wish Gaara was here' the pink haired girl thought as she fell asleep.
