A/N: I'm about a week late on finishing this and I have no excuse for such a thing, but here it is. I've finished the series and I'm happy, am I proud? Not quite, I know I left it alone for a long time and the chapters shrunk quite a bit. For that I'm disappointed in the quality of work I produced this time around, but hopefully it's not that bad.

Here is the last chapter!

Challenge: Can you name all the horse and rider pairs from each chapter in order of chapters?

Well buddy, looks like your time here is up and that means it's time to move on. If there's one thing I've learned it's that you can't dwell on the past, only move forward. There's never a time when I don't think about you, the way you were always so calm and so wise. But you were not just that, you were more, you were my friend.

As the mentor I was watching out for the others and for you, but I know you were watching for me too. There wasn't one time when I wasn't looking out for your safety, even in the middle of a forest fire. And I know you think that we're all just kids, because you're a wise old horse, but we know how to be intelligent too.

Whenever things got tough, you were there to be comfort and help in the situation. Never getting mad, always being patient, even when mistakes were made. As a leader to the others, you were always on the job of keeping everyone together and safe. If I wasn't there, you were, keeping close watch on everything.

I remember when we stumbled upon that secret trail and how we stayed for hours. We sat by the stream and watched the wild animals then we headed home as the sight of a skunk on the other side of the river. If you hadn't gotten us out, we would have been in trouble and I know how much my aunt and uncle would have disliked that.

As a trusted friend and horse, you always could cheer me up and you were always the first to arrive in the action. That's why when I first saw you I knew we were to be together, we were meant to be. But that doesn't last forever and soon things were nothing but distance memories. For me though, those memories will always be alive and I'll never let them die, never.

We made a good team my Palomino Stallion.

A/N: Hope you all enjoyed the series! Read, review, like, favorite :)
